2% interest is not good enough to attract normal investors, comparing with the associated risk level. There are many investments in crypto world, which yield more than 5% yearly.

Re: Do you believe that Satoshi is still active on Bitcointalk.org?

I don't know if satoshi is still active here. He might have had a lot of bitcoins from earlier, on a different wallet, where he mined a bunch at the beginning of bitcoin.

He could just be enjoying his fortune.
But he never moved his mined coins. There is no point to quit the job. There is something happening to him. I don't think he is still here.

This was never sold, still selling.
You have one bid.

Could you lower a bit starting price to attract more bidders?

Re: Which will be more adopted in long run: btc mobile payments or debit cards?
by

I think both is better, now debit card was running, like bit x, coinocard and many other, i didnt hear mobile payments from btc, we need it
mobile payments should be like we install the bitcoin wallet in our phone and load bitcoin. The wallet holders just scan the payment QR code to directly send the bitcoin payment to the merchants' address. It is quick and easy.

OP encouraged the comments to positive with gambling. But the negative comments still outnumbered the advantages. So the conclusion is still that gambling is bad.

Re: BTC is too expensive => Buy Anti

to make profit you have to buy something. why should i buy 0.01 BTC when i can buy 15'000 ANTI.

Because 1 year from now BTC will be worth something and ANTI network will be dead.
It is not about quantity. Bitcoin is most promising and popular coins compared with others. BTW I never heard about ANTI. Keep in mind that new coins are always coming out but half of them will die. Bitcoin is volatile but it will never die.

I don't think so at the moment! Btc has attracted the most vc capital and its ecosystem is built up. No alternative can replace at the moment.

Great. You don't lose a lot and learn the lessons. Even you can quit trading by yourself. Probably you could invest to some crypto assets or altcoins , which are cheap now.

Re: How to receive money on a "anonynmous" bank account ??
by
lockshop11
on 08/09/2015, 08:38:34 UTC
Hello everybody,

maybe a topic that has been asked and answered several times, neverthenless, i am trying again....

Is there, by any chance, a possibility to receive money into a "anonymous" bank account...or something similar??

Here´s what i am looking for:

A bank account that is "anonymous" by opening it without ID verification, operating only on credit basis....so you just can spend the money you´ve got...nothing more...

Further.....i need customers transfering money from their accounts to mine, without knowing my real name, just an alias i opened that account with......

last but not least......a physical card to get money from an ATM !!

p.s. it´s like the polish prepaid cards with own IBAN ( bank account ) but much much safer......no blocking and loosing money.....

is there any possibility?Huh??

thanks in advance
How could it be? The so called "anonymous" bank should be maintained by the third party. In case your money is missing in your account or you encounter any problem. How could you fix them without having your identify associated with it?

Re: Can NXT be "turing complete"?

Well since everyone is talking about Ethereum, let's discuss possibilities with NXT. Vitalik expressed scepticism about implementing a scripting blockchain mechanism on any other than the very core level.
I still believe NXT has a great potential, with the active dev team and a lot of ongoing projects! It has a lot of features that Ethereum doesn't has! Ethereum is just specialized in the area of Smart Contracts! I cannot see the reasons NXT will fail to  Ethereum! Guys, just keep your faith on NXT!

Re: Decentralization and lack of authority as a weakness
by
lockshop11
on 11/07/2015, 10:06:46 UTC
I've seen many people lately criticising bitcoin's lack of authority as a possible weakness. From what it seems, users have to put (at least some) trust to miners and pools and rely on them for things like generating blocks with updated clients, including transactions etc. Wouldn't such an issue scale up as bitcoin grows? Could it be addressed somehow?
The concept of decentralization is totally different from our commen one! So most of ppl don't understand it and may think it is weak. But it is the advantage bitcoin are offering to us.
