I realy hate to say this guys but we need to do smothing fast. I know Cryptogir is working hard to fix wallet.
But black is realy pumping for last 2 hours on cryptsy, and Taking Pre-Orders for Wallet Card.
It could be bigest competitor to SHA, or SHA to BC.
I know how you feel but think of it this way. If you bought bc any time recently it seems these rises are huge but for them to double in value is a huge gain while if we just double our investment we are looking at what, 50 sat? I just had the idea today that cryptoaltex could trade sha against other alt coins to trade from a multipool to bypass the btc trade. Well, tonight on the black coin forum allcrypt is talking with them about that. We really need to get going . This sucks.

[/quote]How does that keep the network up? With no miners or pos wallets running are you just gonna trust a few cpu's to secure the network? Why would they? What's the incentive? I like new ideas but they have to be feasible.
Guys if u wanna do 10% pos/year please just leave and dont make another shit coin - the best think here to do for the moment is make multipool - in early time when its still cheap - u would't believe how good it would work with current price.
It's probally unmakeable but it would be great if there would be sth opposite to 1/10/20% income anually - decreasing ammount of coins depending on blockchain - for example 5% yearly.

When asic scrypt miners come out, coins like this will be the only ones able to gain value. We are on the right track. Time to get rolling.

Here's what we know... we know the coin has died, yet nobody knows why or how.
i didn't presume that it could just 'happen overnight' - even though, for me, it did.
I had presumed that there had been some kind of dabbling with the code - and I got the answer to that, that there hadn't been.
If SHACoin is to survive, it needs to be fixed asap. and i'm not interested in any 'relaunch' - a simple fix and let it carry on.
All this has already devalued the coin and for one, i'll be happier when my wallet will sync and I can offload them and move on.
This alt-coin has been more trouble than it's worth.

ach, you now that you are right, it's just frustrating when one puts so much time and effort (not to mention BTC) into a coin and then this happens.
I know there are many very capable people who are a part of this community, who will be able to fix this, if it is fixable, so yes, you are right... i'll wait...

My windows wallet has been in sync now for the last 6 days straight, no stake however,. I did the usual steps. Wipe all but wallet.dat, install new wallet, setup conf as per main page, encrypt wallet, load wallet in server mode, unlock wallet. I have not had any stake all this time however but no sync issues

Its a great coin. Sad the dev bailed but it is up to the community in the long haul to carry the coin.
@Hect0r - thanks for the willingness to carry the dev part. Just don't get burned out either and trolls will be trolls. Ignoring them is always best.
I think it is a great idea to see what we can do for those ipo investors.
