Re: my portfolio, your thought please

I personally really like your portfolio. You have a fair combination of "sure bets" (IMO) and "gamble coins."

I'd say your portfolio is a little more risky than most (lacking staples such as BTC, ETH, LTC, etc), but that being said, it probably has more maximum potential than the "safer" ones.

Just remember to not invest more than you can afford to lose. Smiley

Just my 2 cents.

@luchins -- I feel like probably the first thing an "average IQ person" learns when attempting to interact with other people on a computer system, is how to use a keyboard. More specifically, the space bar. When the space bar is depressed it inserts a "null" character into the text string. Also known as a blank space. This is widely used, as an acceptable practice, to add a specific amount of space between each word in a sentence.

One space between each word is acceptable. Also, adding an extra space after a period at the end of a sentence is acceptable; though not necessarily required.

Typin    like  dis  is completely  un acceptable  if   y ou want    to o be  taken    srsly n   an  on    the  line   forum.

Just FYI.  Cool

because  of  dumbs's  money,  which  has entered  in December, and  then went out in January.

You normie people  have  ruined  some  early  adopters.

For  normie  people I  consider:

--  people   who have a  girlfriend

---  social  life

.---  people normie  who traded  forex  and   knew  about  crypto in 2016-17

(I  knew about  coins  since 2013)

You   avearege IQ  people  went  out  in January,  hope   you are  dumb enough  to  came  back in later  at the next  bull run, if any.. when the  blockchain teck  will evolve  and  it  will  scale  so  to be used  in the everyday life use of cases

What an inspiration post. While I think I basically agree with what you are saying (novice crypto investors are basically responsible for the current market state), it's almost impossible to read your post.
You seem to think you are somehow intellectually superior to "normal" people but you appear unable to properly use a keyboard.
Also, it's entirely possible to follow crypto and have a girlfriend or social life. You really think you have to forego the rest of life to be successful in crypto? lol.

Price move drop way faster than bitcoin does

It's typical for ETH to fluctuate a bit more than BTC. Especially in dumps like this. Hopefully everything stabilizes soon.

Re: Elixir price vote for end of 2018
by

on 17/03/2018, 16:55:30 UTC
It is fun to see the opinions because less than a month ago people were saying that it could reach even $20, but nobody wanted to make a bet.
Everything will be good if the overall market turns green, but alts can go up with Bitcoin staying low too, especially when we consider Elixir's low market cap and delivering devs. In my opinion reaching its previous ATH would be a good result for this year.
we will see how this situation will end Smiley
maybe many coins wont recover... it could be better for the market...
but we had to wait

I hope many coins won't recover. It will most certainly be better for the community as a whole.

I feel like Elixir could go either way ... To zero or to $5+ ... Only time will tell.

I guess I don't fully understand what happened or how you lost the flash drive. You gave it to him and then went to the bathroom? Then he gave it back after and it was empty?

There is nothing really to add here that someone else hasn't already said.

Essentially, you're crazy if you go try to sell crypto to a complete stranger. Then leave said stranger with a flash drive containing your btc while you go to the bathroom.

This all seems like common sense. I do feel bad for you though.

Hello guys, with the current situations of market can we share some little few tips on how to  possibly multiply our bitcoin portfolio without engaging in any ponzi scheme??? Wink
If you hold say 1.5 BTC, you could purchase another 1.5 BTC with fiat and just like that -- BAM! Doubled your BTC holdings (aka multiplied by 2).

You're welcome Wink

Re: Bitcoin UP/DOWN

Bitcoin is interoperable.
As the law of economics, the less goods, then the price of the goods will rise, but if the amount of goods available enough, then the price will decrease. this also applies to bitcoin prices.
Bitcoin players are very aware of this and will be ready to accept the reality.

Wow, thank you Confucius ...
Your second sentence is the only thing that made any sense in your post. But how does it apply to Bitcoin prices?
Is Bitcoin a "good"? Further, how is the current supply of BTC significantly different than it was 4 months ago at it's ATH?
Please elaborate.

Re: Bitcoin UP/DOWN
by
lokinator
on 08/03/2018, 23:46:44 UTC
What do you think? Are we ready to go back UP or we will go DOWN?
Another correction to the cryptocurrency. It will be ready to go up but it seems like that will be hapening a few months later and why? It looks like the whale are still accumulating about the possibility to grab more and more cheap coin right now. Last year looks the same with this time. The chart will gets another down again but that will be increasing a lot in the future.

Correct. We can expect a far less price like last month around $7000 approximately and this is the best time to buy. However, the growth would start in April 2nd week and I think the peak is in July as many experts predicted that Bitcoin would reach around $60000 in July.

As stated above my post, last years trend was in a similar way like this year but the peak was in December. Hope Bitcoin would hit its highest in July and if it misses that it would surely hit its highest price in December.

While I appreciate the optimism, I doubt very seriously Bitcoin will reach $60,000 in July (if ever). Also your "many experts" statement ... Not sure where it's coming from. I have seen one or two "experts" predict 50k this year; I don't think I have seen any predict 60k by July. At least not anytime recently.
That being said, most "experts" in crypto aren't actually an expert at anything. At most, they got lucky on a few crypto related guesses over the past 10 or so years.  Cool

Re: OMG! Im finally going to be rich from this ONE coin!
by
lokinator
on 06/03/2018, 22:44:27 UTC
Hello everyone! I just wanted to share the very good news i discovered and hopefully some of you will become rich with me!
I just discovered a new coin called TELCOIN ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/telcoin/#charts )  https://www.telco.in/
this coin was just released to the market about 1 month ago, and it is a absolute goldmine!
Telcoin has a insane growth potential if they manage their ambitious plans!
They have a strong, experienced team in project & It's a serious project with lots of known people involved. I think its a good investment I will not be surprise if it will reach $1 anytime soon. We've seen coins with much bigger supply reach $1 or near that price (XRP, ADA, TRX) so nothing is impossible. Nobody really knows about this coin. Once the word gets out and it gets on a few more big exchanges i know it will MOON!

I'm just making this thread for a record, so when it does actually reach .10 cents,I will have already 20x my $800 investment, and I will be RICH Smiley
I'm holding 175,500K coins that i brought for .0004 cents each! That's under a penny.. and YOU can also buy it at this price RIGHT NOW.. before its too late!

What do you guys think about this coin? Are you buying or holding any?
Smiley

Hmmm ... I am going to go ahead and pass on this shill coin. Unrealistic timeline for growth and is based upon almost the exact same idea as about 20 other coins. But most importantly, blatant LIES and/or inconsistent comments by the OP:

"when it does actually reach .10 cents, I will have already 20x my $800 investment, and I will be RICH Smiley" ....

I'm no genius, but $800 x 20 = $16,000. I make that in like 6 or 7 weeks at my day job. Hardly "rich" status.

"I'm holding 175,500K coins that i brought for .0004 cents each!" ....

Interesting, when I multiply 175,500,000 (AKA 175,500k) by $0.0004 I get $70,200.00.
Assuming the OP made a typo and actually meant he/she bought 17,500,000 at $0.0004 that is still $7,000.00.
Assuming the OP meant to not add the "K" to the number and meant just 175,500 at $0.0004 that equals $70.20.
Assuming the OP accidentally added an extra 0 to the value of TEL (which would be the actual value at the time of this post), and he/she meant $0.004; 175,500,000 x .004 = $702,000
Assuming the OP made ANOTHER typo and actually meant he/she bought 17,500,000 at $0.004 that is $70,000.00.
And finally, assuming the OP meant to not add the "K" to the number and meant just 175,500 at $0.004 that equals $702.00. (Closest to $800 of all the above scenarios)

Just in case anyone missed the obvious point with the aforementioned math, there is literally ZERO possibility that the OP made an initial investment of $800 in any of these scenarios. And again, if the last of the scenarios was in fact what he/she meant and the value raised to $0.10 as the OP suggested, the end value would be $17,550 - 702 = $16,848.00 total profit. Again, nowhere near "RICH". If $17k makes you rich, then the folks living in the United States below the poverty line are "RICH!" too. Good for them.

"That's under a penny.. and YOU can also buy it at this price RIGHT NOW.. before its too late!" ....

Lastly, TEL's historical data shows it hasn't been valued at under $0.0034 in the past month. Which, last I checked, is substantially higher than $0.0004 (notice the extra zero). The value of TEL on the day of this post was ~$0.004. So after approximately 2.5 weeks the value is virtually the same. As it turns out, "before its too late" isn't anytime soon. Wink

If you're going to try to hype a crap coin using lies, at least have the common decency to get your made up math right. Just my 2 cents.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I would have to say Musicoin fits this category well. They have a large, functioning platform with a lot of legit participation. I have found a lot of great music on there worth supporting.

Plus the coin itself has a pretty stable value between 2-5 cents a coin.

Re: Where do you think NEX (Neon exchange) will stand in 1 year from now?
by
lokinator
on 01/03/2018, 23:38:29 UTC
Neon exchange will be one of top top 20 exchanges in one year, I am very sure because they are working very hard and their product is look very good for me. Maybe it will need some more time, because it is hard to get the trust of the people with a new exchange.

With 2 NEO co-founders on board, I don't think getting trust is going to be the biggest issue here. Although I do believe they will have to fight to get a portion of the market. I'm very curious to see how this rolls out to be honest.

I have a suspicion this DEX will do very well -- but I will choose to sit this one out and just do more of a "wait and see" stance instead of going all in.

I think the success of DEXes rest entirely on the failure of centralized exchanges. If governments start (or in some cases, continue) to crack down on/heavily regulate/shut down centralized exchanges, then by proxy decentralized exchanges will flourish. As long as centralized exchanges are viable options, I believe they will be the most popular ones -- meaning DEXes are less often used; hence, less successful.

Just wondering why you haven't added DeepOnion to your list? It seems apparent to me that it is BY FAR the most profitable and least time consuming airdrop that is currently active. Granted, it takes a small investment to get started (you must have 50 Onions), but the rest of the requirements are very simple to follow.

Just thought I would mention it, as nobody else seems to have done so yet (Unless I missed a reference somewhere).

Re: OYSTER PEARL PRL.....COIN BURN on MARCH 1st
by
lokinator
on 01/03/2018, 23:00:01 UTC
great news for the PRL holders hope to reach its price to 10$ Smiley

LOL. Don't dream a lot. By burning 10 million coins at the current market cap, the price can goto $0.85. Not even $1. Moreover in coming days marketcap will be reduced more and it will affect the price. Be realistic, the crypto days are over.

Mr. Zombie -> It already increased to 1.5$ now and your theory went wrong. Unfortunately many people like us knows about this project only after its price has already increased.

Zombies only exists here for one reason. To try to make everyone else as miserable as he is. Burning coins is not a "scam" -- nor is it an illegitimate way to increase value. A burn is usually healthy for a project, and does typically increase value due to lowering the maximum supply of the coin.

Again, this is completely legitimate and in no way a "scam." But, then again, from Zombie's point of view -- all concepts related to crypto are a "scam."

by

on 21/02/2018, 13:43:40 UTC
Imagine snap + telegram + whatsapp + skype+ facebook + instagram =  KAKAO now imagine if those 200 million users would be able to buy crypto on their phone

The country that controls 40-60% of the volume of DASH, BCC, ETH is Korea,  not China
Bithumb(largest korean exchange) only lists 7 coins,  latest added was Monero,  which increased 150%.

KAKAO partnered with Bittrex,  so those 110 coins will most likely be the ones already listed on Bittrex.  So Korea is finally going to have a chance to buy NEO.

https://news.bitcoin.com/koreas-largest-messenger-app-launching-exchange-with-110-cryptocurrencies/

Along with CoinNest will become the first Korean exchange to list $NEO, opening a NEO/KRW market.

https://twitter.com/NEOnewstoday/status/912229378972618752

Also the redpulse ICO launching next week

Now imagine the perfect storm of takeing the coin with the largest volume on Bittrex,  putting it infront of Korean FOMO

and the perfect storm of the state backed crypto of China

Trusted block chain summit NEO and China GOV

http://www.8btc.com/trusted-blockchain-0919

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@cryptomarketking/the-future-of-crypto-in-china-and-its-relationship-with-neo

Along the way NEO being added to Poloniex(just like GAS was recently)

also a 161% rise in the price of GAS(the dividend that is free to NEO holders) this week,  with a lot of NEO holders not selling their shares because they want to continue to accumulate free GAS

and NEO being added to Japanese exchanges

Keep in mind Da Hongfei is the CEO of Onchain as well (Onchain is already in bed with the Chinese gov).  One of China's biggest corporate investors has bought a stake in a blockchain startup. Reuters reports that Fosun Group is investing in Shanghai Distributed Technologies Co Ltd, the company behind the Onchain blockchain project.

https://www.coindesk.com/chinas-fosun-group-buys-stake-blockchain-startup/

The perfect storm is brewing for a $1k NEO +massive dividend of GAS in the next 1-2 yrs

I just felt like I needed to point out how terrible your thread title is. If you want to be taken seriously, I think it's best to forego the dozens of ridiculous money signs ...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

This is all good information to be aware of and thanks for the link to the video. That being said, I don't think there will be a flippening happening anytime in the near future between ETH and ETC.

It would take A LOT more than speculatory news. But if all the ETH miners get on board once ETH goes POS, who knows... I suppose anything is possible.

Like others have mentioned; nothing is "too big to fail." Is it likely that ETH will fail anytime soon? No. Is it possible? Sure.

The future of any crypto is uncertain. Just like the future of any business, country or even society is uncertain. The end/death of anything is always more likely during it's infancy. And, by all accounts, crypto in general, is still in it's infancy.

Have you ever supported, bought or mined a coin that died later on? Why did you support it? What did you learn from it?

I have never bought a coin that later died. But I have bought into a few ICOs that never actually turned into coins. Just apparently took all the ICO money and ran. Never listed on any exchanges or even coinmarketcap.

As a result, I don't participate in ICOs anymore.

Vote for DeepOnion to list on BitIndia (Round 2)
https://bitindia.co/vote.html (Vote Again for Round 2)

don't use hotmail.com use Gmail or other emails can receive verification email sent from BitIndia

ah that's why i'm not getting the verification email. hotmail worked in round 1 though.

also, make sure you don't use internet explorer to vote on bitindia. Chrome will work fine.

I tried to use my hotmail account last night too and I never got the email. I definitely used that email in the previous round too and it worked fine ... Kind of odd.

I had to use my gmail account for it to go through.
