I just tested the latest wallet 3.x.x really nice interface, but why those wallets are taking so much processor use? all cloak wallets use between 20-30% of my CPU after all chain is downloaded? I got another old school coin, blackcoin. BLK wallet uses only 0.2% of the CPU!?
For me looks like this wallet is mining another coin in the background:)
Is short staking doesn't make sense for me, as is taking too much of my laptop resourses

There is an additional ADM value that is produced through the distribution process of all
remainings of the unsold tokens which were allocated for the ICO campaign. This process
is named ADAMANT Grows and users that have enough ADM tokens within their wallet
balances will receive proportionally monthly rewards for the approximate period of a one
year after the ICO ends up.
Are you saying people will have to pay money to be able to send a message? if this is true, how you are going to compete with ex. mesenger which is free?

Just wanted to reach out to the community and potential investors to clarify some things. There have been a lot of questions recently in regards to the privacy aspect of our blockchain project, given that the public addresses are visible on an explorer.
Cloakcoin enforces the open ledger maxima aka the blockchain transactions and public address amounts are indeed public & visible.
The trick is, with our Enigma mixing tech, exact transaction amounts and destinations are extremely hard (some would say impossible) to decipher. So you get the open ledger transparency, in regards to blockchain transactions, but particular wallet2wallet transaction details remain opaque. Most blockchain projects conflate those two - we made it our competitive advantage: the ledger is transparent so coin paths can be examined (by anyone!) as proof of technology and a control/attack detection mechanism, while the w2w and actual transaction privacy is maintained. This is why we claim that we are not only an anonymous (like Bitcoin), but also a private and untraceable crypto-currency.
Hope that conceptual difference answers some of the questions that were raised about CloakCoin (with every right!).

I definitely agree with you, but in the long term, I think something needs to be done to Enigma fees as 1.8% is rather expensive, especially with large amounts.

i am newish when it comes to staking/minting coins and had a few questions
is minting in cloakcoin wallet safe? is there any precautions one should take when they mint coins?

it is safe just use latest version of wallet
you will get 5% per year for your stake... this is win win situation anyway, because money in your bank account are losing value and in long term, this coin will go up.
