I just talked to panda i have their number. Confirmed they are not MXM anymore. it is not the same board it is 8 x pcie slots. I'm still ok with that. Honestly way easier to fix and upgrade if needed.
So does that mean they are just regular graphics cards? That would be nice for resale value.
doubtful, based on pictures I saw, they had passive coolers on them and the chassis fans blew air across them.
They could be reference designs though so you could just change out the heatsink assembly
I guess I don't understand, what is the difference between a MXM card, a normal graphics card, and reference design...etc?
MXM are laptop GPU''s. Reference GPU are ones that ship on first batch when new GPU comes out. They use AMD/NVidia design. Usually boxed type of coolers. Later AIB (XFX,sapphire, ASUS etc.) partners come with their designs - coolers, overclocks and etc.

1070 is cheaper by $15 to $20 basically price unchanged 500 series is just a

Overall I'm happy for now about my L3, in particular that it's batch 1. After more than one month of mining on NiceHash by my L3 it dropped one time one board, so I restarted it once a week with the hope it will help prevent dropping board. Now after 10 days I'm going to wait for how long my L3 would works without dropping board. I watch and I will let you know about my result.

Which was your configuration for USL/Worker/Password? I could not manage to conect it to nicehash!
TRy minning some solo coins. LIke GAME or what else most profitable on hash-to-coins.com
x11 (Dash) miner are highly efficent and you could even make good money before dash pump with electricity costs. Problem is all of them are sold out. So you have to hold until mid april or may.
I assume by minning comptuer you mean ASIC. Or at least GPU rig. It depends on hashrate of coin. If noone mines that coin (rare), then you might get away only with simple pc. If coin is minned heavily you won't be profitable and will need ASIC for it. % of total hashrate you have, % of coins of total mined you are gonna have. Of course there also comes diffculty to game and bla bla.

Hello, I have been having trouble with the wallet.
I am really new to the whole brave new crypto world, so I apologise if it's something obvious, but:
The wallet just doesn't sync!
I have double checked that it's not blocked by Windows firewall.
I googled a bit and it seems that Chicks wallet is basically similar to QT-wallet (which I am not really familiar with) and so I googled some more and I found that I should "add nodes"
by executing the "addnode" command; so I googled even more and I found that this topic actually states I should run:
addnode=94.23.102.99:10123
addnode=91.121.46.93:10123
addnode=98.115.147.74:10123
addnode=75.130.162.248:10123
addnode=75.72.134.175:10123
addnode=77.121.108.134:10123
addnode=13.93.84.61:10123
But when I typed this into the debug window thingy, it tells me:

So I was thinking maybe I am running an old version of the wallet, right; so I checked the Github and the last commit there is from the same date as the creation date of the .exe file.
I would really like to try to mine this crypto and play around with it, mostly to get used to cryptos in general.
I also really like chicken a lot, so this spiked my interest.

Same here. it's not nodes because it sees 5 nodes, but still wallet out of sync.

Seems a bit quiet on the Chicks front this Sunday. Is there a reason the votes haven't refreshed on TS for a while now? For anyone following, lowest buy price on Nova is now 640, more than double what I paid for my first CKS!
