Re: BTC to XMR exchange without KYC?
by

Anyone know a good BTC to XMR exchange which don't need KYC?

Because it's only going to be a one time exchange.

I think that Shapeshift does this directly, but I don't know if they need KYC data since I've never used it.
What I actually used was Poloniex, which, under 2000$ per day doesn't require that much data about you. Polo is a real exchange and the fees should be lower too.

Shapeshift is on the top of my list right now but I am looking for alternatives to evaluate all options.

Didn't Poloniex change their system to require KYC for all transactions now?

So I have been thinking about creating my own miner for the last few days (probably XMR miner).

But there's literally no resources available on the internet regarding how to make one.

Does anyone know more about this?

You mean developing your own mining software like ccminer or claymore?

That is correct.

What resources you need, beside few open source projects available
that you can use as base of your code, or just to learn what to do?

Well I was hoping for a bit more explanation, but I guess since nothing is available I will have to stick with the already available codes.

Hello, what are the dependencies of this miner?
Does it need .net framework or Visual C++ or anything?

Quick question, almost all pools pay out directly to the wallet automatically once the minimum payment amount is reached right?

Bump.

First off, stay away from MinerGate - everyone I know gets terrible hashrates there.
I personally use https://monerohash.com.
Haven't had a single payout issue.

Good luck dude!

I like MiningPoolHub myself.

Thank you for your response guys.

[Monero/XMR] Which pool would you recommend?

So I was thinking about starting mining Monero on my machines soon, thing is, I don't know which pool to use.

I was thinking about MinerGate but they don't payout directly to the wallet, so I thought about MoneroPool but I don't know why I am having connection issue to it from multiple networks.

Any suggestions?

Quick question, can Ethereum based cryptocurrencies be mined or do they only have to be traded?

Sorry if the question is extremely dumb, but I am completely new to this world.

Bump on this.

I think eth is also good, for one month I try mining xmr, hopefully the price is good when I sell it later

ETH on CPU?
Won't that take ages?

no cpu can compete with gpu's in terms of cost efficiency but out of all of them, monero is the most fitting for CPU's since unlike zcash or eth algorithms, it heavily banks on a large on-chip cache which gpu's don't have.

Guess I will have to stick with Monero for now I guess.

Altcoins worth CPU mining?
by

So I was wondering, what are the altcoins worth CPU mining now a days?

So far, for me it seems Monero is a good one, any other good suggestions?
