It's their marketing strategy since Bitcoin is the most popular coin and ordinary people can no longer afford to buy one, they use such strategy because tokens are much cheaper than the popular Bitcoin . But we all know, it will not easily happen, not even the 2nd best Ethereum. How much more on those new coins. Do not fall on such foolishness, nothing will replace bitcoin, if it will happen, not anytime soon.

I had the same confusion when I first got here but my solution is used the Blockfolio app on my smart phone. All my coins are well monitored and is an easy access. I now transfer to Delta app because Delta always updated coins in the market unlike the Blockfolio. But still blockfolio is a good app too start with especially if you are just a Hodler and not a day time trader.

There are many ways to earn from crypto. You join signature and bounty campaigns and you can also invest and many more. As you said, you are still a newbie and have a small knowledge, then work for it first. Learning crypto is not a one night learning program. Knowledge is your foundation and the key to the future, do not always lean on people feeding you informations, learn from the past. Start studying from the history of Bitcoin and so on.

There will always be negative and positive aspects of everything. Just like a gun, you can use it to protect yourself and family from criminal minded individuals, the Bad thing is criminals also use gun for their crime. See my point? I am well aware of it, but the most important thing is, your conscience. If you are using crypto for the good, then good for you. Crypto alone is not bad, It's the person using it for their criminality that's bad.

I prefer to become a Hodler, it is less risky and less stress than those day traders. I planned to become one but I am not yet totally ready for it. I cannot imagine the stress and regrets I need to face each day. All my coins usually live like sleeping beauty and I wake them up when the right time comes. Not to mention the amount I get when holding than daytime trading.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?
by

on 14/05/2018, 14:29:27 UTC
If you arrive ICO world with the community selling tokens so soon, then, that is what we mostly follow because if most them are selling the tokens, there is no reason for us to stay. People would rather have a small amount that to hold and wait for nothing, people takes the opportunity while the tokens have greater value. But that doesn't mean we need to follow, what if that certain tokens will go to the moon? My strategy is, sell 80%- 90% and leave the rest just at least if it will pump, I still have something from it.

This is really mind blowing. You must choose the best option. If there is really no sign for the token to rise, then maybe let go, of course depending on the amount you invested and the remaining after the loss. If it's a huge amount, you can use the remaining amount to buy new coins but be wise this time. This is the reason why we should think and study the coins we will invest with.

Will the Crypto markets collapse?
You can not discount the possibility!
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html

I don't think that this crypto market will collapse because this blockchain technology is one of the most importance invesntion of the century.
we can't fully agree when some people are throwing stones or predicting that the ship will drown by the small waves.
there are people and Fudlers who keep on predicting the future of Bitcoin and crypto market since the beginning but look at today, the numbers of new altcoins are growing, the numbers of ICOs is tripled compared last year.
this is just the beginning of the cryptocurrencies and we're very lucky because we are already earning crypto ang money while the world hasn't yet fully adapting it.

Re: EOS is breaking a new record
by

Hey what do you think about success of EOS? One day ago EOS costed 22,5 $! That’s incredible! Do you think it is reasonable to buy EOS now?

EOS is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrency this quarter as it soars around $20 recently and it is price valued as high as $17 as of this writing.
I invested EOS last year while it was cheaper as low as around $4 and now I gained profits as it soars around $20 range.
Last year I invested top altcoins because I know that those coins will offer higher rewards and profits even the price values were already higher but today their price values are indeed more higher than last year.
It is still reasonable that investing EOS now still better option than investing into newly listed altcoins in coinmarketcap.com

one of the best bounty campaign reward that I get is from Oyster Pearl PRL last year.
I joined it's ICO and receiving decent amount of tokens and I choose to hold because I have a full time job career that time and today Oyster offered me a one of the fastest millionaire on our local currency.
I am looking forward for the success of the Oyster Pearl PRL and hopefully the price would have to increase more in the next few weeks or after the launching of it's main net by the end of this month of May.

I am really conscious in getting of rewards from the bounty campaigns and i bet many are getting through a lot of the rewards especially in those who are high rank because they are getting bigger stakes than in lower rank. And now i am eager to determine of how much possible to receive a bounty rewards. I bet you to disclose your biggest rewards being provided by the bounty managers. I need you to post that in this thread for future references and study of the cryptocurrency. I know that crypto is growing and conducting a study is the process to help it develop and making a real use since it has a lot of potentials in the near future.

In order to get higher reward from joining bounty campaigns you should rank up your account because the higher the rank the higher the stakes you can get.
and secondly, having multiple accounts will offer more bounty stake tokens at the same time like a friend of mine the one who introduced this forum and crypto to me.
He has multiple higher ranked accounts because He started early than me and this year He always participating bounty campaigns that offers him getting new altcoins at least once in every week.

can you guys recommend any alt coin for next month?
I am looking for the coin to invest my budget into, but I have no idea.
So, if you know any, pls recommend me.

I am a full supporter of Oyster Pearl PRL so I really do recommend this altcoin that this has the potential to be the next top altcoins in the crypto market that offers online storage for files to IOTA Tangle that will definitely be useful for some internet users.
Oyster will launch their main net soon or by the end of this month so investing today will offer higher rewards and earnings for investors.

Re: how to earn through Airdrop?
by
loloy
on 07/05/2018, 04:26:04 UTC
I joined a lot of airdrops before, last year but I didn't have the reason to join airdrops this year because most of them are even and bogus.

we have the same issues.
I stopped joining Airdrops because my wallet was full of shit coins that even today most of them aren't having values and no activities since they had created their smart contracts.
but still there are many members who are earning Airdrops and I do believe that there are also good Airdrops esisting today but only few of them.
A friend of mine use a dummy MEW wallet and only transfer coins into his main wallet when that coin will have value.

Hi, any suggestions are welcome regarding the process of earning through Airdrop...I am sorry but I need to know the complete process from the beginning if anyone could explain it would be a great help....

if you want to earn through Airdrops is to participate every Airdrop available in this forum and in community channels like Telegram Groups.
I joined a lot of Airdrops since last year but I am having more issues that's why this year I never joined Airdrops.
But a friend of mine earned a lot of free coins but only few of them were actually hit crypto exchanges and coinmarketcap.com.
But, in the end if you are willing to earn as many free coins as you like and you have much free time and efforts on joining Aridrops then you could join every Airdrops available.

Re: What makes a good ICO?
by
loloy
on 07/05/2018, 04:15:50 UTC
I think of their team, technology, prospects for future applications and, most importantly, profitability and acceptance by people. These can help me determine if a ico is worth investing.

It's hard to spot good ICOs this time because most of the scam and fake ICOs are too good to be true.
sometimes the dev team are anonymous just like Oyster but they are making more effective crypto projects that will allow users to store their files on the IOTA Tangle.
some fake and scam ICOs are anonymous as well and the people behind are somehow real or paid personnel.
that's why, spotting good ICOs today are difficult and the only way to invest on good ICOs and crypto projects is waiting for them to hit crypto exchanges and coinmarketcap.com

Re: What makes a good ICO?

This is really a good question. To check out what a good ICO is,
1. You first have to check the team associated with the ICO. An ICO on health should have health professionals in fact a Doctor who backs the project.
2. Read thoroughly the whitepaper and check out for the problems identified and the solutions they want to bring on board if it is achievable
3. Also check for the soft and hard caps. This will enable you to know whether their project will be successful or not.
4. Also check for the roadmap what they want to do in the future.
5. Lastly is their coin a ERC-20 token? You need to also check that.

When all these background checks are made you will be able to know the best ICO to invest in.

I cannot always rely on the points that you are giving because scam and fake ICOs are too good to be true this time. In fact, fake and scam ICOs do have very impressive website designs, roadmaps, advisors and all people and staff behind the crypto projects.
That is why spotting fake and scam ICOs are very difficult this time and if I truly impressed by the crypto projects, I will then wait for them to hit crypto exchanges especially on coinmarketcap.com so I could hit invest and wait for my earnings.

What makes a good ICO?

For me, a Good ICO is the effectiveness of their product or projects and their consistency of their roadmaps.
Good ICOs have good community managers as well because the community especially on Telegram Channels and Reddit as both are most popular on crypto communities.
as I observed, most of the fail ICOs aren't having strong foundation of communities that's why ICOs have less active members and no community managers are more likely will be soon vanish or ended up being scam or fraud.

Re: After 600% gains, is there room for more?
by

on 07/05/2018, 03:47:57 UTC
Yeah why not? If it’s good then there won’t be any limits. Bitcoin/Ethereum/Litecoin and many others have gained more than 600%, so it’s not the finishing line!

Some friends of mine they will then sell off their pumped altcoins and invest into another set of new altcoins that has the potential to be the next top altcoins in the market.
I think that's a clever move because the crypto assets will then maximize and increased it's possibilities on having huge opportunities of earning higher profits than just staying in a single altcoin.
Mithrill MITH is one of the strongest new cryptocurrency in the market and early investors were very lucky today.

There are many Cryptocurrencies gaining, but last few months it's mostly about downroad. But there are Cryptos like Mith, which gained unbelievable percentage. So, is there anyone here who made an investment in https://mith.io ?

If yes then how much? Also, do you expect it to reach higher?

MITH Mithrill is one of the fastest pumping cryptocurrency in the market since it was launched and listed on coinmarketcap.com last March and I was just observing it's consistency of pumping.
Later I hit invest around 2nd week of April and invested decent amount of Mith coins and try to wait few weeks of pumping.
today, I am earning higher amount than my other invested altcoins and I regret that I only invested a small amount.
Mithrill is one of the strongest cryptocurrency in the market today and wish to invest more if I had a chance.

Re: How do websites like EtherDelta and Idex.Market sell third party ERC20 tokens
by

on 05/05/2018, 09:53:27 UTC
EtherDelta, ForkDelta and IDEX crypto exchanges are decentralized, meaning, no one can manilupate the exchange walls but somehow they're not that reliable unlike big crypto exchanges like Binance, HitBTC, Poloneix, GDAX etc.
recently EtherDelta was attacked and accounts were stolen and so as big crypto exchanges but the users on popular exchanges will be refunded in case the coins lost unlike decentralized exchanges mentioned above.
