Re: Is it possible to live without banks?

its imposible if we live without banks, banks are very helpful for the community's economy. starting from saving, deposit to borrowing. everyone would need a loan of money, and only banks are the solution. so it's unlikely that we live without a bank.

Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price?
by
lonelygrimm
on 14/01/2021, 07:18:44 UTC
In my opinion, bitcoin price will not be affected if the USDT price collapses, yes it maybe a little bit affected, but it won't have much effect. bitcoin and usdt are different currencies. from a different world too. less likely to be affected. but yes it maybe have a big effect on the price of bitcoin, for example the price of bitcoin will get higher if the usdt collapses. or more and more new investors are buying bitcoin because it is more suitable for investment. but yeah don't know, I can't predict.

Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term?
by

What do you think of the recent price gains and if the prices will stay up or crash out?

This is just my opinion, but looking from the graph, bitcoin price will still continue to go up, if it go down, its maybe stop at $35k. but this price increase is very high, far than the price in 2017. There is still the possibility to decline and be stable.

Re: Paper money vs Digital currency
by

It is difficult to convince people to accept digital currency. Where I came from, parking payments switched to using e-money, many people objected. Especially if we are forced to accept digital currency. But I think it can be do in stages, starting from the introduction, requiring home bill payments to use digital currency, and requiring important payments to use digital currency, especially state tax payments, which must use digital currency. Maybe if little by little it is applied to our lives, people will be able to accept digital currency and start leaving conventional currencies.

Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin?
by
lonelygrimm
on 12/01/2021, 13:56:48 UTC
Many hacker and scamer involved in bitcoin currency. Bitcoin is digital currency so many people don't know about bitcoin. Bitcoin is high risky because it price can be high increase and decrease in a day.

Youre right, there are many hackers and scammers in bitcoin currency. and bitcoin is also a high risk. but with existing technology, all of that can be minimized, for example using a personal wallet to store bitcoins such as those sold on ebay or amazon, it can be used to avoid hackers and scammers. If its about the risk that the price of bitcoin fluctuates, instead it should be used for profit, from shorter trading for example. it all depends on the views we have. but why do many avoid bitcoin, in my opinion because they dont know how profitable bitcoin is. Suppose they know that they can profit from bitcoin, maybe they will start to be interested. maybe they also know that bitcoin is same as like common currency that is used for buying and selling.

Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin...
by

on 12/01/2021, 13:44:27 UTC
Now bitcoin is preparing to reach another ATH. Are you still there and holding your bitcoins? What happened to your life after 10 years in bitcoin? Is there any changes?

Until now, after the price go up high yesterday, I have sold half of the bitcoins I have, it has made me very profitable, the other half Im just waiting, maybe the price has go up than yesterday, because Im not good to reading the market, so I better hold on for a while until the price rises even higher. Not yet 10 years, I have known bitcoin, maybe 2-3 years ago, that has been make profitable and has brought many changes to my life, from being able to find my own pocket money ,investing and studying other digital currencies. yes of course, if I know bitcoin in 10 years, I will be more advanced, by making bitcoin a livelihood, for example short-term trading.

Re: Buy Low, Sell High
by

predictions of many people about prices this year are quite accurate. The beginning of this year was really very very good news for bitcoin holders, especially for bitcoin holders since March last year. The price of bitcoin is currently very high, its late if we want to start buying again, seeing that the price is very high and hasnt come back down much. I think its time to sell, not time to buy. if someone still want to hold, hold on and wait for the price to up and up again.

Since getting know bitcoin in 2017, I make much profit from bitcoin, because I have never hold bitcoin for long time, unfortunately last year since the price of bitcoin dropped, I only left a few bitcoin, so this year I dont get  much profit from the price of bitcoin now. maybe if I didnt sell it last year, I made a lot of profit this year again. but  looking the price of bitcoin now, I will go back to buy bitcoin again for get a big profit.

Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin?
by
lonelygrimm
on 07/01/2021, 08:28:03 UTC
The price of Bitcoin is already very high, it cannot be denied that there must be many investors and HOLDERS who have 'cashed out'...
for me, it is not a big problem to 'cash out' at this time because of course there are many who have made a profit, but for those who have 'cash out' they must be prepared to buy Bitcoin again when the price drops.

I agree, there is no problem if we start to sell bitcoins if we are already get profit from the current price of bitcoin now. all returned to the our goal, having bitcoin for future investment or getting profit when bitcoin price go up. but if you sell now you will probably get a lot of profit.  if bitcoin proce doesnt last long, it will come back down. all sellers will be prepared to take profit again.

Re: Are you buying right now ?
by
lonelygrimm
on 07/01/2021, 07:28:13 UTC
I am not buying right now as i is very risky. I know BTC can go even further to 40k or 50k. But i cannot  buy right now. But in long term perspective  BTC price will go up and up. For long term one can buy BTC any time at any position because  its demand is increasing  day by day.

the risk is always be there, but how do you make the value of bitcoin so that it doesn't become a big risk. You know the price of bitcoin will continue to go up more, why not buy bitcoin and hold it for a while, dont need to wait for a high rise, if the price has exceeded the purchase price, selling and getting a little profit is oke. that if you want to buy and sell maybe it can be a solution.

Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again

it's good if we think to return invest again or focus on bitcoin again. because right now bitcoin still dominates the crypto market for us looking for profits. but there is nothing wrong if we still maintain a little of our investment in altcoin, if sometimes price rises at any time, we can still take advantage of altcoin.

I agree with you, short term is better when the current market price situation like now. as long as the price is higher than the initial price we bought it, it's better to sell immediately if it's already profitable even though a little. a little profit is better than a waiting a long time and loss.

Re: How to invest my $1.5K?
by
lonelygrimm
on 28/09/2019, 14:32:27 UTC
good idea if you reduce risk by investing $ 1,000 in bitcoin and $ 500 in other coins, because we know bitcoin can be profitable. maybe you can invest your $ 500 in altcoin which is also potential like BNB, no more investing in fake coins like co coin that doesn't have a market yet.

Re: When Is The Right Time To Trade Your Tokens

Thank you for the information. but usually I will sell my tokens that I get from the bounty if the market reaches the ico price, if not I will not sell. I always do like that from the first time i get from bounty, and in my opinion it's already a big result for me, although maybe the price can go up again.

your post is correct and makes sense. I also agree with your opinion, the new bounty is indeed getting worse now. different from the old bounty that even their coins can exist until now. the more here we have to be more careful, so as not to get caught up in a bounty scam.

Re: Your Source of Investment Money?
by

What are the sources of the money you invested with bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Anybody here used credit cards?

the source of my money that I invest in cryptocurrency or bitcoin comes from the bounty results, or the results of this forum. because I first knew this forum, then bitcoin, getting results from this forum, I immediately tried to buy a little bitcoin. I didn't use my personal money because at that time I wasn't sure.

look at market prices, especially on the price of coins that have continued to change over the past 24 hours, such as bitcoin, eth, xlm and etc. if the price has gone up and back down within a few hours, maybe when the price goes down that's the right time to start investing or buying. being a trader is more profitable now than just investing in a fake website or ico.

if the country convert to cryptocurrency there will be a many benefits for the citizens and users including us, crypto can be used for payments and investments. but the disadvantage is, the country's economy will be increasingly difficult to manage because cryptocurrency is too volatile.

Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?
by

You're right, why bitcoin can't be replaced with new altcoins like ethereum for example. why until now bitcoin is still the king of the crypto world ? is it possible because bitcoin have many users and is more trusted for an advantage in cryptocurrency?
