It's been awhile since I visited Shield coin. I used to mine and trade this coin and I remember it hitting $1M daily trading volume in Stex.
So there are new developers now. Looks like there's a lot to be done moving forward. I just remembered Shield so I visited. Good luck though.

I slept with the bears. It's good to be back. Nice to see development of Lethean has progressed. I tested the dVPN product and it is usable. However, I would like to see an easier to use interface. Much can be improved upon. A mobile VPN version is also a must nowadays. There are now more mobile users than desktop users. I hope the devs make those a priority.

Kind of strange I have never heard about Laneaxis before. Why did they not take advantage of the 2017 ICO craze? Now it is an uphill battle to raise funds.
The bear market has affected the enthusiasm of investors for ICOs in 2018. However, big name projects still attract considerable investors but this type are few right now.

Lol, if crypto is going to be stable then what are you going to do with it? I don't like stability at all, I do like volatility. Why?
Because you can trade volatility and gain profits. Volume spiking not on the stable market, as you we all see now when the price of Bitcoin is chopping volume is dramatically decreasing so market becomes illiquid. Volatility is good for everyone and actually, that's why everyone loves crypto.
I am using ETH to buy at my local grocery (sure via Visa card that is replenished by fiat coming from crypto exchange) so I would prefer to have low volatile Ethereum to project my living.
Crypto should have been used to buy whatever we want, the fiat system is too complicated for some people who want complete freedom. Hoping that in the coming year I can enjoy it in my country.

The whole financial market is in a blood bath. Stocks and bonds are down. It took bitcoin down with them. We'll have to wait if there is hope that hot money will come to crypto.

There are volumes on the market, although everyone would like them to be bigger. Next month 60 coins will remove from Cryptopia, but there are completely useless coins there. I hope this never happens to our coin.
BitCore will not be a useless coin at any point of time since its beginning.So, I don't think that Cryptopia exchange will delist the coin on their platform next month.
Low volume is very popular for most altcoin within recent months, not only BitCore.
Not only Cryptopia but other exchanges are also delisting coins that are of low volume and that are no longer satisfying their criteria for being listed. This will be an opportunity to many new and old coins that are bringing innovation to cryptocurrency.

A regular periodic update from the development team is crucial in maintaining trust from the community. A lack of information can cause anxiety and doubt in the mind of supporters and investors. A weekly or bi-weekly update can be sufficient.

I read the latest news update and the final product is nearing completion. Lethean will be included in the very few blockchain projects that have a real working product. Unfortunately, I wonder why there's not much community activity in this thread. I also rarely hear or read about this project. Are you guys even marketing this thing? It's a pity if not.

A lot of the projects I have been following for months seem to have all but abandoned their ANN thread while still having a very lively Discord server (e.g. - TRTL, DERO). Discord is great for chatting but not so great for in-depth discussions or disseminating news (lol - no one clicks the stickied posts) while the ANN thread is less good for developing a sense of community but much easier to have a real discussion. In other words, the two media are complementary, not substitutes for each other.
Bitcointalk might be indeed better for in-depth conversations as comments can be re-read and followed easier than on discord or Telegram. I understand that many people would want to join discord because of the almost real time response to their inquiries. However, bitcointalk still represents a big percentage of the crypto market population and the Lethean thread should not be left to idle. Regular posts and/or updates from the team's devs or moderators is a must if you want to keep your community growing and engaged. The same for other social media like twitter, reddit, telelgram and others.

Maybe you didn't read this article so you have to do this before dreaming about this. The names are mentioned in this article but I didn't see NEM among that list maybe in future they will pick for next listing.
Coinbase is expanding the number of tokens and coins they want to list. It is reasonable to assume that those in the top 50 in market capitalization are the first to be considered for listing. I also think that NEM has a high chance of being included in the future.

for long term i guess its a good idea, but i depends to you, how much long you think long term is? i guess you should keep it minimum 1 year for a profit to earn, but for a good profit i could take more than that, maybe 2 + years, who can know now, i hope that it will be good invest for you
I think investing now when most altcoins are at their lowest is a good idea. But of course, any investment carries with it some fianancial risks. Nobody knows if Qtum can return to its highest value or whether the value will go up or down after you buy it.

BCN 28 sat , Somewhere I am getting confused.. 
Guess it's still suffering from previous dump and we still miss the necessary news and cash flow to pump up the price. If it wasn't for those damned days, BCN was performing well.
Every coin is suffering from selling, so no surprise there for BCN. There is still opportunity to profit in trading so that will keep the trading volume up. I would rather hold at this time and wait for better market conditions.

So novaexchange is still an alive exchange?? I though the owners abandoned it and sold it to new owners and the new owners don't bother to develop it better. Anyways Cryptopia is still a decent exchange that has been around for some time now and people trust it.
Looks like Novaexchange is back. Cryptopia has done well in developing their exchange. It is now difficult to get listed there unlike in the past and the listing fee also increased. Listing in Cryptopia now has become one of the best ways to get trading volume up for a coin.

So why do people think that Bitcoin Cash is any good? I don't see why BitCore couldn't do that BCH does. The only thing it has is more recognition, is that what the succes comes from?

Unfortunately, it not just about feature set in crypto. For a coin like BTX, to get the recognition it deserves, it must be covered by the media and promoted heavily. Look at BCH and BTG, coins that are not really better than other true innovative coins. But they were in the news last year because they were forks of BTC.

This are very good news for waves. Nano Ledger S is one of the best hardware wallets in my opinion. I hope there will be more big news for waves in the near future.
Great news indeed. Waves team is really ramping things up. We expecting the integration of smart contracts in their platform and now, we are receiving this news that Waves can be stored in Nano Ledger S moving forward. Honestly, this is somehow late because I'm expecting this to happen in the early part of this year but what can I say, better late than never. 
I can now safely hide my Waves to my beloved Nano Ledger S and be at peace that it will be stored there tightly. The said hardware wallet is also one of the best selling wallets out there. Many people will surely be delighted by this news. Now, as the hype train's engine getting heated up, lets wait patiently for the announcement of smart contracts within Waves ecosystem.
Waves is one of the most promising coins I heard about. Smart contracts is what set Ethereum apart initially. It's still a very important feature that will cement Waves' entry into the big leagues. If Wave's smart contracts will be ready by next year, delivery will be just in time when the market improves.

Topping the CMC in terms of market capitalization is a very ambitious goal. Imagine you have to be better than XRP, Stellar, Monero and Ethereum, just to name a few. These crypto coins have now real world applications and have partnered with big businesses. It's not impossible but GLD will have to innovate and improve a lot to achieve this goal.

I think they said in chat that potentially released in September with the fork it is active like a month after the announcement.
This is great news, specially now that it seems like the crypto market may have recovered a little bit.
I think the timing is perfect for mtp because I also think the altcoin market is improving. If bitcoin momentum is sustained, we might be looking at October/November for mtp when hopefully we will be already in a bull market.

Isn't it because BTC is going up and testing major resistances that the alts are getting dragged along? Whatever the actual reason, any developments that may help crypto get out of this bear market is good news.

There are lot of partnership. But I dont have at last one good partnership with big real company or solid crypto projects. All this oartnerships just a shitty...
Many of these infancy crypto projects are still in developing stage, but forming the right partnerships can help these crypto projects mature together and offering real enterprise solutions
But this "partnerships" does not mean nothing as this projects does not exist. They must have partnerships with working projects.
Partnership announcements is a also a form of marketing to inform supporters that the team is strengthening their organizational and development structures. Like they say, more heads are better than one.

see a lot of new projects are popping up and making the competition getting tougher. I think the team should prepare a more mature strategy again in order to attract the attention of many potential investors.
When there is a competition we have to choose the right one in order to invest in the right project. Competition is always good because we can see some exceptional growth from all these projects which will help us to increase the price of the coin.
And the market is so big right now that it can hold multiple similar projects and everyone can profit from it.
Competition is good to filter out the weak projects. In the end, the most organized and and the most competent team will deliver the best blockchain product that will attract a lot of attention.
