VPS to 2.6.0.0 not work
respons to VPS command masternode status
error: {"code":-1,"message":"Masternode not found in the list of available masternodes. Current status: Not capable masternode: Hot node, waiting for remote activation."}
respons to Local command masternode status
Masternode not found in the list of available masternodes. Current status: Not capable masternode: Could not connect to 9.....29:60020 (code -1)

Version 2.5.0.0 works without problem, no config file changes

Do a "solarisd -reindex" on your VPS. That should do the trick.

Soo...

Going to adress the elephant in the room soon?

MASTERNODES!

(zero running, and i get weird messages trying to start them)

The weird messages are on the server:

2017-10-07 22:34:54 ERROR: CheckInputs() : 64bb13684e0321e478cf531233e648c6a983be67fe1416d87b1583473258043f value in (1000.00) < value out (9999.99)

even though you get started successfully in the cli. Also.. the client IP gets insta-banned Cheesy

If you start through the gui, there is an "invalid ip address error"

Something is not right for sure.

Your calculation is really impressive and correct!
And from your calculation, looking here https://linda.masternodes.pro/ telling us there are 47 Masternode active should result then 144,510 Linda each, so Linda's current price on cryptopia is about $ 84 a day.
It is therefore far from what the above page tells us that shows a gain of $ 885 a day, that is about x10 from the real gain.
Why this then?
How is the data false on https://linda.masternodes.pro/?

Well it could have been old data from when there were less MNs on the network. So the MN count was up-to-date but the payouts were off by a a week or more I guess.

Right now the numbers have been lowered but they are not correct either.

Always DYOM (do your own maths).

If you are unsure what the payout for a masternode is... it's all on the blockchain to see and you can calculate it from the ANN page.

Here is a simple way to check that doesn't even involve running anything on the command line.

On the resulting page you can see what the Masternode staked each day.

Alternatively maths is your friend:

  • 90 second block time
  • 14,150 Linda per block
  • 50% to MNs

That means:
  • 24 hours per day, 60 minutes per hour, 60 seconds per minute = 86,400 seconds per day.
  • Divided by 90 second block time = 960 blocks per day.
  • In total there will be 960 blocks * 14,150 Linda per day generated. Nice: 13,584,000 Linda.
  • 50% goes to masternodes - 6,792,000 Linda to Masternodes per day.
  • If there is 1 Masternode on the network... it will get all of that.
  • With 10 MNs on the network, each should get around 679,200 on average.
  • With 100 MNs on the network, each should get around 67,920 on average.

There. Now you know what you can expect to earn.

any help instructions to run a new wallet for linux appreciated i'm stuck

I have headless running on linux with the new update, addresses are generated properly and I can withdraw from coinexchange.

Don't use the master branch on github, instead use the src package download from here:

https://github.com/equitrader/Equitrader/raw/6c30d895bcaafd1413f23424730bde1a48414edf/equitrader-src.zip

This one compiles out of the box without having to hack the source, and the resulting binary is called EquiTraderd.

Hello, I run some mastertoads and keep getting pepecoind crashes randomly. I have a hot/cold setup with QT wallets running on both Ubuntu and Windows and the server side on Ubuntu 16.04 x64. I have not found a pattern yet as to when the crash happens.

It bails out with:

pepecoind: /usr/include/boost/thread/pthread/recursive_mutex.hpp:113: void boost::recursive_mutex::lock(): Assertion `!pthread_mutex_lock(&m)' failed.

A restart will fix it so it does not corrupt anything on crash.

There is nothing significant in the debug log when it happens - had a quick look around and came across this issue in ION https://github.com/ionomy/ion_deprecated/issues/99

Anyone else experience this or anything I can do to assist in troubleshooting this?

....
Inclusion: Credits(CRDS) does not look to exclude anyone and with that it makes it a lot easier for new users to jump onboard and begin mining straightaway. With no immediate threat of mining pools as there is no Argon2d UNOMP module and no compatible pool with that mining algorithm, we will see some time for pools to become active. Also, DELTA (the difficulty retarget algorithm) protects against Multi/jump mining pools even when pools do become active in the future

How i can see my Credit earned? it's seems i found 2 blocks but i don' t see credit in the wallet Smiley
How do you know you found a block? Where is this information? I'm new to wallet mining.

you will see it in your wallet balance.

IF you are still in the debug console you can also enter "getinfo" and it will show you the balance amongst other things.

I have also followed this for a bit, and have also invested in the ICO so naturally I am biased in favour of this going well. But during the recent bull run of BTC a lot of non initiated people were trying to get bitcoin and were struggling. If this helps them acquiring BTC more easily, it's going to be great! And I am not talking about people with well connected banks - these are people in Latam mostly that were struggling to get BTC easily.
