Accept it. Back to the old chain won't fix the problem. You will see the hyperinflation and the high supply again. Where will it go? A million of billion? It won't solve anything.
The HF cut the hyperinflation problem but not the high supply problem. For now, the burning doesn't work. Even if it works later, it will take years to make any impact. Soon or late, we will need another swap to fix this high supply problem.

You need to burn coin. Yes but how? 
In the WP, I only see that the dev team mentions about the fee in the Discord. It will only get burning when someone make a rain. But can you reach the 0.9 billion sprouts fee / a day with the Discord rain alone? The fee of the wallet usage should be increase, the current fee is too low.
And the price of sprouts at Aug 10th,2017 was wrong. I think it's near equal the price now. The reason is the coinmarketcap didn't exclude the btc/sprouts price at that time.

If we keep the current supply, forget about trading with btc or list in many markets as possible. It doesn't matter here. Think sprouts as the grass coin. I think it's perfect cheap enough to use in the event. Let focus on it, we can make the rain with 1k sprouts but I don't think you will do that with 1 btc right?

I have read the whitepaper. And although you have redirected questions to the Discord I am going to send them here, because our communication started on here.
To keep everything open and transparant I think it is good to have all answers out in the open.
I think the following questions will be similar to those of other members of the Sprouts community and therefore important to have answered with most detail.
1) You mention that you will first have a round of questions and then will have a community vote. Where will this community vote be held? Is this community vote open/accessible for all people of the Sprouts Community? Is the vote binding (so, if the community says "no" will the hard fork be cancelled)?
2) An hard fork means you will be forcing everyone holding Sprouts to get onto the new chain. Otherwise they will lose connection and will not be able to trade their Sprouts. How will you make certain this information is wide spread? How will you make certain that there will not be confusion on which Sprouts are on the hard fork chain and which are not? Worst case scenario people will buy old Sprouts on one exchange, that is not affected by hard fork implementation. Conclusion: buying a coin that is not officially tradeable as Sprouts.
3) I do not think the new reward is fair.
Scenario: someone sets up 1 million accounts with each 1000 Sprouts. This would mean someone will have more accounts trying to win the reward. However someone with 1 account with 1 billion Sprouts has the higher probability you could ask yourself if there is enough certainty to say the network will stay as fair. I do not feel it is fair that someone with 1 dollar investment can reach the same amount of reward as someone with 1 million dollar investment. I understand the probability is higher, but PoS (proof of stake) originally works: the more you hold, the higher the stake, the higher the rewards.
4) From the whitepaper I still do not have a clear idea how Sprouts dev team is going to create this high of a demand to pump 8 trillion Sprouts around. It is already hard enough for coins with 100 billion supply to increase value. And these coins normally have millions of funds allocated to marketing, research, etc.. How is Sprouts going to accomplish their goals with this big of a disadvantage?
5) You even state in you whitepaper that Sprouts will be worth more. I do not see this happening, not significantly anyways, without significantly lowering the supply. Supply and demand. There is far to much supply and far to little demand. In line with question 4, from an economical standpoint how does the team approach such matter?

why you keep making questions ? are you the original dev ? and if you are, why you havent done a single thing about sprouts in those years ? fuck jesus!Dude ... Calm down. I think nothing wrongs with the questions here. Beside this team or that team, we are all investors right? We all need as much information as possible. I hope we won't have a fight again here.
Anyway WP looks good. For now, let focus on HF. Stop the high POS rate first, everything can be fixed later.

Lower APR just lower the inflation, not end it. You need to find a way to burn some of the current supply. Since the jap dev team said that they will focus on the event using sprouts. Why don't using event to burn coin? A lottery for example. Just few K sprouts for a ticket. Few buck for a fun is a accepted price.

Thanks, I appreciate the vote of confidence, but the solutions I had in mind for this coin may not do anything to fix it. I don't know what would fix this coin. ... To explain, the only two fixes that come to mind are:1) forking the code to have a reduced staking reward to reduce its inflation rate, and
2) a coin swap, maybe 10,000 to 1 to reduce the total circulation.
But there are problems with both of these things, mainly psychological. Briefly:
1) "reducing the stake reward". This would fix the problem of it inflation, but its high stake reward is what people like, so the coin could slowly die from lack of interest.
2) "10,000 to 1 coin swap". This may be the best solution, since it would reduce the circulation, and if the staking reward is left alone, it would give people a new start with the coin, and it would still be popular. But there are downsides. I just witnessed what happened to paccoin. They have a 1,000 to 1 swap happening now. You'd expect its value to remain, but to do so its price would have to jump up 1,000 times to what it was if its being reduced 1,000 to 1. Instead its price has gone up only 10 times, thus its value has dropped 100 times. Meaning, if your total paccoins were worth $100 before the swap, they are now worth $1. ... I can't say what will happen in a few months, but for now, its not pleasant.
So, I say, better ideas would be welcomed if they appear.
We can implement solutions that slow down the reward/supply without reducing the POS rate. Example:
- Increase the mature time ( like 1 month )
- Apply higher transferring fee ( 0.01 coin is way too low, let take 10M for 1B tranfer, I know this is the ridiculous fee, but It will burn the coin a lot. Apply the same for the minting case, if the reward is 1B, let take 10M fee. The ideal is the larger amount/reward you send/create, the fee will increase as much as possible
make fee high as possible for 1 mo then later reduce for reward PoW.
for make not inflation too high just make sure used new chain system to make implement environtment. after that remove old chain after cross chain. this~
"make fee high as possible for 1 mo" won't work. People just simply doesn't transfer anything in this 1 month. We will get "Nothing to stake" problem. Favour POW maybe the good solution but the coin won't be pure POS coin anymore and we will meet issue #1 as arcmetal mention.
If you don't want to swap/reduce the coin, the simple solution is finding way to burn it. I don't think the coin will have any real usage in the near future so high fee won't be big problem here.
Hey you can even apply fee for creating new wallet address. It will burn a lot of coin

@oogone Steal? It already wrote down clearly that there will be 40% premine. Auxilium team doesn't trick people to send their sprouts and take 40% here right? It is a deal, I invest Sprouts, they will take 26% for funding and 14% for prevent the dump. It already wrote down over and over everywhere. About dump or not, It like people invest ETH into a ICO and they will expect the dev team won't sell these ETH because it may harm the ETH ?
In the end, I think sprouts holders are grown-up enough to know what to do with their money. And it is THEIR money, they can dump/buy/sell/do whatever they want with it.

To be more insight, I'm not the expert, please correct if i'm wrong. But based on my research, Sprouts+ maybe the first fork of eth with POS. Since there are not many clones eth out there and eth just supported POS with their Casper release this November. And they even haven't moved over full POS yet. They just announced their Alpha Casper Testnet recently ( I'm not sure if this is related with sprouts+ testnet or not ). So it must be tough for the sprouts+ dev team to clone eth here but very promising.
