Great honest feedback, thanks.  The community here has been helpful!

@leowonderful, I didn't close the url off.  I got it fixed now.

Having a selector to change crypto units would be useful.  I will have to figure out the best way to handle this.

The last active date will be nice to have and how long the seller has been a member.

@Patatas, yes, I'm the developer using PrestaShop with a lot of modifications.  It's a work in progress...

I see what you mean by .me.  The play on words is not working, I guess.

I thought the name of the site with showing crypto was enough to let people know the point of it.  I have to think about what to change and/or add to make it clearer.

@mjglqw, ouch, haha, some of the pages are pretty basic.  I will have to work on making them better and maybe the whole site needs to be spruced up.

It's pretty embarrassing to have the wrong URL in the TOS Sad

DAM Suggestions

Do you have any suggestions for Digital Asset Market (https://digitalassetmarket.me/)?

The next feature I'm thinking would be nice to add would be if sellers are online or not.

What do you think would be beneficial for a crypto market to have?

Binance wants to offering fiat to crypto.  There is no way that will happen by not implementing KYC.

Keeping their servers anonymous is just trying to avoid getting caught but I don't see governments allowing this forever.

They still offer to buy using credit card and their service is great for newbies.  I'm not sure how hard and/or long it will take to pass the kyc so that could really hurt them.

Binance will go KYC soon enough plus all legit exchanges.

Nope, crypto is fun and has a lot of potential to do things we cannot even think of yet.

Got the purchase limits:

Total purchases for the last 7 days plus cart total
Level 1 - $100
Level 2 - $250

Store hours I think I will just leave as a store description for now.

Robinhood

Anyone here using Robinhood?

https://robinhood.com/

I saw that they have a wallet now for transferring crypto:
https://www.ccn.com/robinhood-aims-to-disrupt-further-by-launching-a-cryptocurrency-wallet/

Can you transfer crypto in and out?  Like if you purchase it on Robinhood then can you transfer it to another wallet you have that is not Robinhood?  How does the price of crypto compare to other exchanges?

My state is still not on the list yet so I guess it will be awhile before I can try them

LBC has a lot of nice features.  I don't see the ability to sell other crypto, bitcoin price tracking, custom pricing criteria for regular customers, and other common market features.

I got the SMS and email verification working so that will add protection.  Really great idea to add these 2 verifications together to avoid fraudulent accounts.  I also added to deny known spam email addresses.

Next adding limits on purchases.

Some modifications:

  • Restrict sales to certified customers
Have different limits for each verification level:
- Email and number verification (level 1)
- ID and pic verification (level 2)

BTW, I value this restriction more since sooner or later, you'll be forced to go with this route (you might as well go with it from the start [based from what I've noticed recently]).

  • Restrict sales during store hours (to avoid complaints)
Not just "store hours" but instead a few hrs prior to it (to allow for everything to be sorted out in the same day).

I definitely want the 2 levels now with restrictions on the amount that can be purchased within a timeframe.  I'm thinking around $100 per week for level 1 and $200 for level 2.  The dollar amounts and timeframe can be adjusted later if they are too low or high and short or long, respectively.

After I get the verification levels then I will think about the store hours more.  I like ending the cut off period to avoid people ordering at the last minute and not getting their order until the next day.  It could be confusing plus a lot of work to code to have items appearing and/or not orderable at all different times of the day plus how many stores will actually use it correctly.

I'm going to get to coding and let you know what I get working.  Thanks for all the input.

Agree.

Unverified and verified are limited for Stripe and Paypal.  Verified can be a little more but still needs a limit.

Zelle and Paypal with friends unlimited.  Funds cannot be charged back from my understanding.

The hours are just so people know that they won't get the crypto instantly and start complaining.

You wouldn't be concerned with scamming/theft by fraudulent credit cards and Paypal accounts?

What do you guys think would be the most useful if you had a store selling crypto?

  • Restrict sales to certified customers
  • Restrict sales during store hours (to avoid complaints)
  • Set purchase limits per person and time (like 24 hours only $200).

Great suggestions.  I had someone yesterday tell me the logo should be changed.

I made both changes.  Here is a pic and I can add other currencies:

Binance had issues with sending to new addresses so maybe another exchange would be better to use.

XLM doesn't have any issues and transfers fast.

I'm not planning on selling anymore using LumensMarket.  It was more of a proof of concept and for the SBC (https://www-stg.stellar.org/lumens/build/).  I moved onto another project (https://digitalassetmarket.me) where anyone can sell crypto.  I will release the XLM Horizon Server version to Github of DA if anyone is interested (no one seems to be so far).  I did quickly modify it from the version for Binance so the code still have Binance references.

A few people are really interested, most don't care, and some people are too suspicious or wary of buying crypto from a marketplace.
