Re: [BAN APPEAL] Recently Recovered Hacked Account Re-Banned because of Hackers Post

Again,  who am I supposed to talk to ?

I've sent countless emails since 11/4/2019, and still nothing.

Who do I have to bribe to get in touch with someone in charge ? This is mildly infuriating.

*edit*
whoever just unbanned my main account, thanks to you, glorious unknown  Kiss

I'll pray for you.

I'm I the only one here ?

Thanks to Bitcointalk Recovery Account team, I now regained access to my Full member 2014 account, but it's now being re-banned because of old hacker's posts.

It seems that these Bitcointalk Ban Appeal addresses are not answering betweeen rotations.

I've tried sending an email to the first one that's been provided to me, and waited a month without answer.

Now I've been assigned / rorated another Ban appeal address, still waiting.

Obviously I've ended up in some kind of loophole, at the worst time possible.

Thanks for your answers,

Although, as opposite to this bill gator person, I never bought an account, and I didn't get a 2 months ban, but a full permaban.

The account was first locked because of the hacker's actions, I managed to prove ownership, it has been given back to me, and two months later it's been permanently ban because of these past actions, I can't say anything more than what I described in my post, unfortunately.

I provided all the necessary ownership infos when I first got my account back, IP addresses and stuff, took me about a year to get this account back, I still have the emails from recoveries_2019_###@bitcointalk.org

And now I'm getting caught in a wave of autobans happening for whatever reason, with virtually no one to reach to about it, and to make things worse we're merely talking a 2014 full member account, so probably not the top of priorities here.

I'm lost at sea here, frankly I'd rather have to pay $10 bucks a year and have a dedicated customer service that I could reach to when stuff like that happens.

A lot of people actually need these accounts for business reasons or whatever, not even to mention some of them are worth quite a lot of money.

[BAN APPEAL] Recently Recovered Hacked Account Re-Banned because of Hackers post
by

on 01/11/2019, 22:48:01 UTC
Hi guys,

My account was hacked between Mars and July 2018 and banned in May 2018 for of Spam & Plagiarism caused by the hacker.

It was restored and gave back to me in January 2019  before being automatically re-banned for Spam & Plagiarism in September 2019 , even though I haven't posted anything in-between.

At least 4 of the hacker's spam messages posted have been deleted by moderation, which caused the first ban.

I managed to delete some of them when I got the account back back in January 2019.

I guess I forgot to delete the last ones, Moderators deleted them hence triggering the September 2019 re-ban.

Again, is last message was posted July 25 2018, and I haven't posted anything in between except for 2 anodine responses ;

- My 2 last posts  Huh ( January 2019 )

- Re-Ban notice log Sad

- My current account status  Undecided :

I spent a year without my Bitcointalk account and was so grateful for that new account recovery process you guys put in place for all of our banned hacked accounts.
I'm really heartbroken to see it got it got banned again.

Just look at this account's last messages I've been helpless-posting here for a year, I even bought a copper membership in luck that it would help speed up the recovery process.

And now it's banned again.

Please make this right,

Thanks...

[edit : / a carbon copy of this message has been sent to the ban account recovery address

"OK, your current IP was recorded and will be used as part of verification."

Quelqu'un a déjà été au delà de cette étape ? Je tombe que sur ce post quand je cherche sur Google, et si ils me demandent une sign BTC je suis niqué....

Crypto Luxury Marketplace since 2017 : Everything from Lambos to Picassos.
by

on 13/01/2019, 21:05:26 UTC

Hi there, my name is Matt, founder of DeLouvois.com

I would like to share with you what I believe is the largest Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Luxury marketplace since defunct BitPremier.com.

Using our marketplace, you can buy and sell everything luxury using solely cryptocurrencies.

For non coiners, this has been proved to be a great way to get into bitcoin and crypto in general by selling valuable items without having to interact with banks and fiat currencies.

On the opposite, buying high-value items with cryptocurrencies can also be a great way to cash out your crypto earnings in complete discretion.

Come pay a visit, we do have some pretty interesting stuff there, everything from lambos to helicopters, real estate, fine wine, watches and we add some more everyday, only from the best and most reliable dealers, escrow is available and we also provide technical and legal counsel when required.

Of course, we welcome business proposals, so please feel free to inquire. A lot of cool new features are in preparation right now...
https://deLouvois.com

Disclamer : our original bitcointalk account has been hacked during btctalk database breach, we are trying to recover it at this moment.

I wouldn't hold out hope for recovering your old account. I'll give you a merit to help get you started fresh.
Take more proactive measures to not get hacked again. Stake a f'n address.

I know, I should have,  frankly I had no knowledge of that address staking topic before that... Thanks though, it warms my heart. but I just can't let it go, I knew I should have changed my password after Bitcointalk database hack, but I did not. And that's my cross to bear  Embarrassed

Thanks again  Smiley

Also, OP claims there was an address under his signature which was deleted "years ago" which he could sign a message from. In 2014, 2015, 2016, it appears to have only been "have a nice day!" in the signature (reference), sometime in 2016/17 it changed to an address - the same time it became branded with this "Luxury" marketplace that this person is now hoping to use to recover the account... I don't think this account is going to be recovered anytime soon.

I'm not even sure that there was my btc address under my signature, more likely under "Bitcoin Address" on my profile, it stayed there for a while, but then I assumed that it would make me a target for hackers, so I changed it to a bogus address, and of course, that's the only screenshot Web.Archive has >> http://web.archive.org/web/20171126205221/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=307514 ... I want to shoot myself in the foot right now.

Although there might have been an address under my signature at some point, I have never thought of using wayback machine to prove my claims, maybe if there was an address under my signature at some point I could find using wayback machine, thanks a lot for the idea, I'll try and wayback each and every message I ever wrote, even if there is a slightest chance that I could prove my claim.

Bottom line is, I won't let that go, even if it's the last thing I do, that old 2014 account has way too much sentimental value to let it go, I'll do whatever it takes.

Hey, I even contacted the UBEX ICO's team so I could track down and email whoever is using my account now and buy it back from him, turns out he never claimed his tokens so they don't have his email address in their XLS payout file. Another f*n dead-end.

I have also conducted business through my marketplace with an old timer member ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=162183  ) who could assess my story and also has my bitcoin address but everything went through gmail, so that's another dead-end I guess.

Wish me luck I guess ... Any other ideas/inputs would be greatly appreciated.

I can't log into my original account.

The Theymos "locked" message appeared in my signature, but obviously it was a fake, since the account info and avatar has been altered. ( which was not the case when I first posted this thread ).

Frankly at this point, I have no idea what to do, and I highly doubt that Theymos or Cyrus would give a flying f* about this issue.

Re: OVER 300 days with no answer from THEYMOS OR CYRUS? // stolen account

303 days without contact
Forget it buddy, why focused on hacked account with lesser chance on recovering it? You heard already one of the MODZ so make a decision now. It is wiser to start again and be good in the forum. Do not fed up by your lost get up and move on. When a door closes you then better look another door. Who knows, you might get more than what you wish to get back.

Well, sometimes it's not about getting more than what you had.

I happen to run a large crypto-luxury marketplace, and the very fact that someone happens to use my stolen account is a security threat to anyone in this forum that had or would be willing to do business with us.

As far as proofing ownership with bitcoin addresses, I'm a little bit confused. I had my Bitcoin address inserted in my signature before my account got stolen but obviously, the hacker deleted it.

Although I have countless proofs including message history to prove that I am the legit owner of this account, does Bitcointalk.org stores logs of previous signature modifications ?

Frankly, I have no idea, but at that point, I'd be ready to pay the current owner a couple of hundred bucks to give me my account back.

BUMP MY MAN !!!

You can post it here or PM me it if you wish for it to remain private.

It takes too long because neither theymos or cyrus have the time to do them. An automated recovery system is apparently in the works but until that happens or theymos delegates this workload to someone else then people just aren't going to be getting their accounts back any time soon.

Do you have any more info regarding this automated recovery system ? A thread maybe ? I'd really love to have something to hold onto while I wait for a miracle.

My 2014 account has been hacked by a Theymos impersonator and is now being used to promote some shitty ICO, although in my case I might be able to buy it back from the hacker.

No doubt possible at that point : my "locked" account recently became active and is currently being used to promote UBEX ICO.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=307514

The individual who got into possession of my account has now changed my avatar and deleted most of my informations. Be assured that this is definitely a hacking attempt and DO NOT answer the "acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com" , this is a trap.

To everyone having the same problem ( fake "locked by theymos" signatures )
Please keep this topic active so the mods will notice it and hopefully take some action.

I am currently trying to contact Bitcointalk admins as well as UBEX staff so hopefully I can track down whoever is using my account and eventually get it back, as I have all the infos needed to prove ownership.

To any moderators who sees this : for the love of god, please take some action, my whole business depends on getting this account back.

Thanks in advance

The account isn't locked or banned (unless someone just unlocked it). Not sure who put that message in the signature either so if it wasn't you it's probably been compromised in some capacity.

Thanks everyone for the help. I locked the other topic.

I googled that Theymos address and it looks like I'm not the only one who have had this issue in the last few months :

If it's some kind of ransom-scheme, the individual behind it does not seem to care about the ransom, no one have recieved any answer from this email (as far as I searched) even months after.

-

I deleted my actual bitcoin wallet address from my signature years ago for security reasons ( I could sign it, admitting it's still somewhere in the logs ) .

-

If it's not in the logs, the only way I can guarantee my ownership of this account is by writing a message through my Bitcoin Luxury Marketplace ( which is linked publicly to my Bitcointalk account under my avatar ) so I just did that.

https://delouvois.com/californiaquail-account-verification-bitcointalk-org

Also, feel free to check the IP logs and verify that the recurrent IP addresses from both account ( main and current ) does actually matches.

I hope this will be helpful, I’m really looking forward to getting this account back but so far, no one has responded me.

If anyone has any idea, I'm ready to try it  Sad

Thanks again and have an nice day

[original message ]

Hi there, it seems that my account has been locked by an admin last week.

I run a fairly large Bitcoin Luxury marketplace https://delouvois.com so I'm pretty worried that might be a scam, since the address I've been given sounds like what a scammer could use to impersonate Theymos .

I deleted my actual bitcoin wallet address from my signature years ago for security reasons ( I could sign it, admitting it's still somewhere in the logs ) .

"acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com"

I have not posted since March 2018.

Not sure if that's actually legit lol. It says theymos(bitcointalk admin) but it's domain is "theymos.e4ward.com". I honestly don't know about that.

Holy F. shit . That's actually scary. I run a fairly large Bitcoin luxury marketplace, god knows who the hell they might scam with this account.

Granted BTCtalk staff don't have a phone number, I have no idea how to proceed now I guess I'll just start DMing random staff members.
