I'd have to say aside from Facebook (which I dislike) being almost a social requirement, I hate it. My real choice would be Reddit but it isn't such a social network, but it had roots before the rest of them!
PM sent with address, cheers

Query - creating a new, multi-crypto mining pool in Australia
by
lucidite
on 10/01/2014, 00:45:14 UTC
Hi all,
I'm investigating the feasibility of starting my own multi-crypto mining pool (10+ currencies) and have a few queries I'm hoping someone from this community could assist with.
Firstly, can anyone advise the average memory/cpu consumption by an average MPOS implementation running on Linux? Not what is claimed by the developers but real-world stats? I understand that each coin would require its own MPOS instance and database?
Secondly, the reason I'm looking to set this up is to have a pool local to my country (Australia) which supports a decent amount of crypto's as opposed to the usual 1 or 2 offered by most.
Lastly, if anyone is aware of reasonably priced VDS/VPS offerings in Australia please let me know and provide any referral codes so I can help you out too . I currently have a VPS in NYC but the latency is too high for my liking and the pricing isn't that great either.
Thanks in advance,
Lucidite.

@onlinebit & @kisaragi - thanks for the advice
@onlinebit - you mention you're going back to 270X's on your next rig; better hash rate in your experience or is it a cost/power issue? EDIT - I found an answer at the link below, might go 270X's instead!
It seems 5970/7950 models are nigh on impossible to get for under $330 (second hand...) in my country but the 280X (toxic) model is ~ $420 so I might grab one of those to begin with.
