An interesting project, I'm all for more PoS coins.

Same here, I can't connect to sparkpool anymore using miniz (for beam mining at least), other pools seem to work fine.

Definitly a coin worth keeping an eye on, the team seems to have a good idea of what they want to achieve which is something many projects lack.

Genesis v3.0.5 is now available!
This is a mandatory update for EVERYONE! At block 420,000 reactivation of Big Blocks comes back and all previous version protocol nodes will be disconnected.
We have a little over 35k blocks until this goes active, so you have some time to update. No need to rush
But, there are also a ton of GUI improvements as well which might make you WANT to rush. This will be the last update before bitcoin-modules comes in effect!

Hey community, i have problem with set-up the masternode. I'm trying to set-up masternode on Gin platform, and i did every step it leaded me to make it. But at the end it stuck at Installing Node, and it is 3 hours already on that step. Any help? http://prntscr.com/nhnka8

I have never used the Gin platform myself so I can't really help you with that but if the problem is still not resolved by now you should definitly contact Gin support, I hear they reply really fast too.

It now says on tradesatoshi that it will be delisted on 22 April. Given they are providing an actual date that seems pretty definitive to me! Understand you're chasing an update, is the issue just that they aren't updating their wallet? Seems a bit odd they were getting pretty good traffic.
It took some time but things have been sorted.
$GENX will NOT be delisted from Tradesatoshi and trading is now open again.

Furthermore, the txbit exchange has nearly two-month old, it means that the exchange has come closely to the minimum requirements of CMC to get their acceptance to verify listing request.
I have a dream that txbit will eventually be listed on CMC in the second quarter of the year.
Yes there's only one winner. We're running strong second but we have alot of catching up to do to be number 1!

PoS will take time. PoSv3 has a serious vulnerability that needs fixing before integrating. We'll keep you up to date on progress.

Is there any shared masternode service that accept GENX? or its incompatible with their current setup?
There are a few but none officially supported by the team.
I can point you in the direction of unofficial ones though: fomominers and equipool. They are both reliable shared MN services that offer $GENX masternodes.

In trying to update my wallet to the post-masternode version, and I seem to have run into some technical difficulties. I get an error that states 'Assertion failed!'. Followed by Expression: pindexWalk - pprev.
Any suggestions? If it is a sync issue, I'm happy to just delete everything and try again, but need to locate the default folder the genesis blockchain would be in (I've searched everywhere and can't seem to locate).

You need to delete the blockchain in your genesis folder and redownload it (you can use the bootstrap available on the official site to speed things up).
Make sure you have the latest wallet version (3.02) which was released today !

Some users were asked to do KYC indeed but most haven't. My guess is that it's related to the country you're linving in...
Anyway if you have a problem with that $GENX is available on other exchanges as well: STEX, Escodex, Raisex & Safe.trade

The new wallet is ready for masternodes and we're roughly ~20K blocks away from masternode activation.
Price is still cheap, if you want your $GENX masternode this is clearly the best time to buy.
