Anyone tried sticking some small heat sinks on the top? It helped a lot on my Raspberry Pi...
Yes, I have three "RAM heatsinks" on top of the stock cooler plate, and one "MOS heatsink" on the BE100 chip. Used the same heatsinks for the chips in my rPI too.
Are they any good? Have you noticed any difference?

Its 13x13x6 mm I think there is enough space in there for one heat sink on the BE 110. Cutting it is an option too.
A long time ago (Feb 18th '13) in a galaxy far far away (Minnesota) Detritus ordered an Avalon.
Today it arrived....
Mine arrived in Minneapolis today. I am out past Lake Woebegone. I should receive them Tue., July 9.
How long did you have to wait?
I surmise that both Detritus's and my units arrived in Minneapolis at the same time. He got his locally to Minneapolis, mine is taking 4 more days to travel the last 180 miles.
I'm sorry, maybe I should have asked another question - haha. When did you order yours? Same as him - Feb 2013?

So you don't want to wait and get into a group order? This might be the best way to go, there are a bunch of people doing it on this sub-forum. You just need to find the one that is closest to you.
Thats a pretty good idea, maybe you could try making just a simple frame to hold the cup and an usb extension cable? IF you're going to print it with a Reprap, MakerBot (or a 3d printer using the extrusion deposition method) make sure to use ABS instead of PLA. The ABS softens at around 90 degrees C while as the PLA is going to be about 50. I'm saying softens, not melting
Give it a try and let us now? You could post it on http://www.thingiverse.com/. I'd love to make me a coffee/tea warmer for the winter haha.
