Hi guys! I read all the guide, I was mining with clay 9.7 for XMR, getting around 780 H/s per card (have 3 cards RX570), Im on win10 x64 with custom timings (hynnix).
As you said, sgminer would have higher hashrates, but I could only get 720 H/s per card maximum...
I tried tunning worksize, with no succed...
Also tried Intensity but only get worst results...
If I change the gpu threads param, the program dont work properly...
any ideas?

SGminer with stock conf isn't very good, but with right settings it can do much better. Also XMR-STAK, can almost achieve SGminer. Not sure about Claymore improvement, I just tried it stock, it has much higher power consumption. Since I've showed you my stats on my 5 card mixed rig I will continue with it. It's not the highest you can have with RX cards.
Total hashrate with 2x RX 470 and 3x RX 480.
First is XMR-STAK-AMD 1.4.0, second is Claymore XMR 9.7 and third is SGminer 5.5.5
interesting, there are more parameters than Worksize and Intensity (Besides GPU_Threads) to tweak? if so, can you pls tell me which ones? I will continue testing others settings.
By the way, the GPU Clock on monero does affect a lot the perfomance.

I don't sell ROMs - I modify the ROM of the customer, as that's actually safe to do. Will send a PM.
Can you mod 390 rom's as well, or only 470/480?

THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU! That is exactly the issue, I just tried putting +10% power... went from 20.6-21.6 to 24.3, the second card is running at 26 mh
110watts/card.
I'll be off for the day but I will try pimping a little bit, just to reach the best balance between performance and power usage :DD

Edit: I just tried +14... cards now runs at 114watts but getting 25.5 to 26 for first card and 26.4 for second ! I'm Lovin' It

Can't change mem mV, higher voltages is what will really decrease life of an electronic not higher clocks so the only thing you gotta worry about is stability
Can you elaborate a bit on "modified 1425 strap" or point me in the right direction? I am working with a batch of 570 Sapphire ITX (Elpida).
ETH: GPU0 27.811 Mh/s, GPU1 30.827 Mh/s, GPU2 29.126 Mh/s, GPU3 30.816 Mh/s, GPU4 30.805 Mh/s
I am running on copy+paste 1500 straps. GPU0 is the highest ASIC (78.5%) but won't run stable past 1925mhz. GPU2 is my lowest ASIC (68.5%) and is stable @ 2000mhz. The rest are 70%+ and fine @2100.
It bugs me when I can't get 30 out of a card. I'm willing to learn but having a time finding info.
Like someone else said, ASIC quality doesnt have jack to do with memory. There's batches of memory that simply can't run over 27MH regardless of strap or mods

Is there a way to replacing some .exe miners included in the Nicehash miner, for other ones? for example, I would like to change ethminer for claymore, and excavator for EWBF 0.3.3b, I know, I can run those miners and point them to NICEHASH, but I would like that te software (Nicehash) indeed auto switch over them.
Any ideas?

On Nicehash my 1070s are doing best on Eth right now + I am dual mining with them so even better.
Until recently, though, Equihash algo was superior by a good margin.
On my 1080 rig it prefers Lyra / Lbry.
I am also going to build a 1060 rig and see how that does.

Why don't you use Simpleminer and merge mine or dual mine ETH and SC (Sia)

I dont understand that double mining at the same time, how it works? does it not downgrade in perfomance your ETH mining?

Try to mine ETH if u have an AMD card or ZCahs if u have a NVIDIA card...
In my case, I'm minnig at zpool, it switches over time to the most profitable coin...

Currently I have 2x1070GTX (planning to get more)... and I'm mining at zpool, using nemos (.bat) batch, for mine the most "profitable" coins... (btw is this working ok?)
Is this the right way? or I'm missing something, I have to say, I'm not new on this, I started mining bitcoin and litecoin 5 years ago (always using GPU) but then I take a break of this world haha...
Well... I'm aware of new cryptos like, ETH, MONA, and new algos like SKEIN, C11, BLAKE, BITCORE etc... also, I know that some algos are better with Nvidia and some others better with AMD.

The best answer is to go to www.whattomine.com and explore their bajillion profit calculators. Their front page even has a setup with GTX 1070s, so just choose 2 1070s and it will calculate an approximation of what the most profitable coin today is. If you know your exact hashrate then you can manually adjust that to be even more accurate.
Yes, I always take a look to that web, but in many cases the "Profitable" coins are fluctuating over the day several times... so I cant decide Which coin to mine.

We are focused on keep bulding our project, that's our goal right now. Exchangers are not a priority at the moment, but if the community wants bigger exchangers we let the community vote. As we said from the beginning we are not going to pay to get listed. You guys can vote every hour.

whats the e.t.a on any upcoming improvements? its been a while .. were is the IRC chat? any other wallet updates in the pipeline? people need info not just 'we are working hard to improve the coin' all the time. - without actually seeing any updates yet.

I'll try to compile windows wallet... but I dont see big improvments, I support this coin, in fact I mining this coin since was released, but I want to see the comunity grow, and new feauters in our wallets, etc etc.

The chat it's in the source like 4 days ago, we posted it several times here on this thread. Mac beta wallet with chat was also released. Windows wallet has not been compiled yet. The source it's there, if anyone it's able to compile it, we'll be glad to give a 2 rotocoin bounty. Otherwise we'll try to release it in a few days ( I'm not at home).
Irc tipbot it's up and running, bets will start in a couple weeks. New website was released last week .

The wallet with chat for linux was in the latestest github release a couple days ago.
OsX wallet with chat it's beta, we need to fix chat theme and chat connection. Even with that chat works perfect.
