Re: [ANN][WALLET] AirGap - We are building a secure mobile wallet system

The idea and name behind this project sounds awesome. But I don't understand how it is still airgapped if the transactions are still generated by online devices, or is there something I'm missing?

The transaction is generated on the every-day device with the AirGap Wallet installed, this device has internet connectivity. The signing happens on the air-gapped device with the AirGap Vault app.  Broadcasting to the blockchain then will be done again with the AirGap Wallet app.

If you're referring to the approach with AirGap Vault & AirGap Wallet on the same device, then it's not air-gapped anymore but provides still additional security to a one-app approach.

Good afternoon. What minimum number of tokens can I buy?

At the moment there is no token sale, if you're interested in supporting the project, we're gladly accepting donations.

A new concept that using your phone to access your assets.
But there are some problem:
1. When your phone has been stolen
2. When your phone has been slowed down but you can't re-install or install a new rom.

There is a recovery feature in place where you can generate recovery shares, for example you can create 5 shares and distribute them to friends, family, bank deposit box etc. and then only need 3 of those 5 for a successful recovery. The same applies to your second point, in that case you could switch your phone and then just import your backup phrase again.

Why can`t I join the telegram group via link? Is it my problem, or something wrong with the link?

https://t.me/AirGap this is the Telegram link, do you see the overview page? Have you started your Telegram client?
The telegram link seems worked to me or just put manually the link on your browser and I'm sure it will be redirected to the telegram client.

You can also search for @AirGap in Telegram.

We plan to support more Ethereum ERC20 tokens, as well as Litecoin & BitcoinCash in the future. We're reaching out to projects to see if they're interested in using AirGap as a secure wallet for their token or blockchain.

if the development for ERC20 has reached a quality standard with a good level of security, then the planning will run well, even for all altcoints, even though it takes a long time

Do you mean if more ERC20 tokens are added, the wallet become more attractive?

Stumbled upon this project between all the ICOs, this sound like an interesting approach. Which currencies will you support?

Some of them will definitely survive. A lot of them are trying to solve the same use case, they cannot co-exist for long.

The investment of enough people have to be hurt in order for a correction of these Scam ICOs. I mean even ICO rating platforms are in it solemnly for generating revenue, all these rating that should have been a neutral indicator are bought and paid for by these projects in order to attract more investors.

There are other options that are more secure, for instance if you generate a new private key you should do this on a computer without network connectivity you can for example use the MyCrypto Desktop App or the AirGap mobile apps.

It's getting harder and harder for ICOs to distinguish themselves from their competitors, a lot of project trying to solve a similar problem. Getting a user base for a project is not that simple any more than it was a year ago.

Re: Next Raiblocks? Spacecoin with potential for x500 within 3 weeks to buy lambo?

I didn‘t want to offend you, but you just can‘t expect to get the gains you are looking for. Modum is still quite new. I participated in the ico and it‘s already an x10 (was x20 for some time) since then. They have a real team with a real product solving a real world use case. I hade some nice picks in the past, but it’s not the place to brag about it.

So lets put it that way: Why is spacecoin better or equal to raiblocks? The only thing I see is Blocktime: 60s which makes it roughly 5 to 10 times slower ( not eve talking about tps yet).

It is not even remotely comparable to raiblocks. Here are some reasons:

- Team: Not even a name somewhere
- Code: 5 Commits, last one from 2015, 1 generic Contributor
- Website: Looks like the year 2000 is calling
- Volume: In the past around 30$, since all the stupid money joined in december it increased to around 5k per day
- Vision: No idea - why is it called spacecoin?
- Roadmap: Generic Buzzwords without any Deadline
- Whitepaper: Nope
- Community: Nope

Stop waisting your money on "projects" like this. Raiblocks had a clear vision, dedicated team and new technology (DAG). They didn't do a lot any marketing, but if you did research back then, I were able to see that the project was not just a wast of time.

Also, if you invest money in it, I doubt you are able to ever get it out of it again since they have no volume at all.

Edit: I notice your shilling the coin all over the place. Better search for something which is actually worth the effort. Just shilling scam coins without any kind of innovation does not help the crypto space in any way.
