Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin?

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

Today, bitcoin is not a threat to the states. Yes bitcoin is very valuable. We all know the value of bitcoin against the dollar. But states have yet to fully understand the importance of bitcoin. That's why I do not think they're afraid of bitcoin.

no i think its still threat sir
the anonymous on bitcoin is the problem

even without anonymous on account bank nowadays, people still able to do lot of bad things and still hard to track

maybe its bad idea for government to accept bitcoin
since normal transaction from bank account is already misused by some of higher up by creating fake account for corruption or other bad things
and if bitcoin accepted they can do it much more easier since bitcoin is anonymous

that what I think  Grin

Game changer?!

This is useless, with the fees it will cost double to play games from the 90's, plus do people need to wait for confirmation, if not people can just double spend and play for free...

This ia what I always wondering on each post about btc acceptance on something around the world
Do they need to wait for confirmation?? Since confurmation can take quite a bit time

How envious of me to all of you, my country doesnt even have ATM for btc

altought there a lot of people who open a seminar or lesson about bitcoin so it can widespread, but the goverment never accepted it

BTW how the paymen on those restourant work?? Do they always wait to get atleast 1 confirmation then leave or they can just show that they already sent btc with 0 confirmation??
since tranfering BTC need 1 or more confirmation that need time to wait, sometimes it 1 hours

nvidia very good for gaming, i use nvidia has long  Smiley
For gaming purpose i will vote nvidia, for mining i will vote amd

can u give me recomendation NVIDIA card with budget around 50$
i want to build a gaming PC, or is that 50$ not enought??

$50 for a graphics card for gaming is not enough Undecided You need a bigger budget.
If you want to game, your graphics card is probably the most expensive component in your pc.

so! what budget do I need to get vga for gaming??
right now I only play Dota on my PC, at least pls recomend me what VGA do I need to play it well Huh coz I am so clueless about VGA, never have one myself

To properly answer your question you need to include a bit more information:

  • What CPU do you have, or are looking to buy?
  • What resolution do you want to game in?
  • Will your monitor support this resolution, or are you upgrading this to support your new GPU?
  • Where in the world are you located?

1. i used an old PC with Core 2 duo CPU 3 ghz
2. 1366x768, this is my monitor resolution
3. I dont plan to upgrade monitor
4. I am indonesia

I often use VPN, free or paying
I never have any isue about my acc, and you only use it for gaming so doubt anyone from VPN agency want to steal your information

so I think it safe to use any VPN , but paying is better for speed and personal IP
haha...  Grin

Re: My Idea for Protect Bitcoin Paper Wallets from damages.
by
lulululu
on 21/01/2017, 05:21:06 UTC

this is my first time hearing paper wallet since my country dont approve BTC yet

but your idea for storing it on offline device maybe a bit meaningless, since you always need to print it when you need BTC
and a lot of PC in public place have internet conection, so if the PC have internet isnt it better to just go online and create the paper wallet on that time

so paper wallet in digital form is a bit meaningless  Lips sealed
hehe sorry if I offend you  Lips sealed

yes.. We need to take prints everytime if needed. But you think.. If you have large amount of bitcoins as Paper wallet and accidently it damaged..  How you feel ? In this case my idea is a as good option for you. Your paper wallet is always safe in rar OR zip file. Just take a print whenever you want.

hmmm sorry but maybe you missunderstand what i said
i mean instead of make the paper beforehand and safe it in digital form then print it when you need, arent it better to only create the paper file and print it when you actually need it?? coz most public PC have internet conection to access BTC wallet

or is it too risky to access wallet on public??? (I never didi it, IDK is it risky or not)

Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years?
by
lulululu
on 21/01/2017, 04:42:40 UTC
I think most users are involved in Bitcoin not because they belief in the technology, but because they hope the price will go thru the roof. So let us say the price would be at $900 for the next 50 years.
Would you still use and buy Bitcoin or would you leave?

I do leave it 4 years ago when the price goes down and to busy collecting BTC again
but then the price goes up, and I regret that I dont have a single satoshi, and now I get back to collecting BTC and will try to use the price to my profit instead to leave it and regret again  Grin

Paper wallet is a very secure method of storing bitcoins offline. But its main problem is storing without damages. For that, I found a solution;

If you have Printer in your home, Scan your bitcoin paper wallet as JPG image OR PDF format and save it in a new folder.
Next step is convert this folder as rar OR zip file with password. Then store in your Memmory card, Pendrive, Memmory card OR personal computer. It never become damaged.

We can extract these files whenever we want. Then we can take prints if needed.
