Very odd problem.. when ever I try to open the bat file it just insta closes the program.. I don't get it.  It was running for about 4 months no issue then boom it just shut down and won't start mining again :S.. Tried restarting comp no go, different program, no go :S..

Windows Antivirus Defender has blacklisted cgminer, or at least the cgminer Windows executable released on Apr 29, 2017.  I'm hoping to find a solution.  I don't normally mine under windows but I'd like to use it for debugging a 2-PAC that's been acting up.
add your mining folder to the exceptions

i am trying to use a windows 10 laptop to get the setup down for my 2pac but it keeps killing itself after 2-3 hours then wont get stable unless i let it rest or restart the craptop

!!! the Links for windows you gave in are reported as malware and it can't run. Remove by the antivirus software
Trojan:Win32/Bitrep.A

That is a false positive the miners are flaged quite often because they were used as a payload for a virus and it is safer to look for code that cant or wont change so most scanners hit the miner itself rather than any other part.

I have issues with my 2-pac it keeps throwing a write error and stopping it worked fine at 250mhz for 6 hours at .68v vcore then started this i blame my laptop more than the miner as it seems to work fine for a while on a driver then something happens and it does this...

No, what 5.3.2 added was the Compac. The 2Pac is a different breed of cat about a year and a half newer.
So ok that might be what i got... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CWBYJK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i have yet to receive it and it seemed like a batch was being made so i guess i have no idea what ill actually be getting till it gets here

update it is here got a 2 pac it doesn't much care for 250mhz needs a blast chiller and lots of volts... but does 200-237 rather happily now i am just trying to find the lowest volts i can run it at above 200 with out it needing a fan

Nope. As far as I know, there is no BFG support for this product.
i was reading about it and they were saying 5.3.2 added it but you needed to set the clock by hex codes.

i suppose i can go back to cg miner... Humm starting to wonder if ill need a second rpi to run this.

I currently have a rpi 2 b+ with a gridseed orb and zeus blizzard (i know i would make more money unplugging them and selling them than they will mine...getting 2MH/s scrypt mining)

I just got one of these on order and was reading about them as of minera 6 bfg 5.4.x was baked in from what i have read that would mean i dont need to mess with adding a custom miner to my rpi i can literally plug this in and begin tweaking?

I just plotted a WD 4TB My Book Desktop External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 last night on my 280x was getting around 26k nounces per min completed the process in about 10 hours. i might replot the other 4tb i have to try making it go faster... latest drive run in about 46 seconds vs the other 4tb which goes for 74 seconds...

my settings were

with a 4096 stagger size

devices file for gpu plotter

0 0 2048 128 4096

here is the numbers for a 1tb plot
gpuPlotGenerator generate buffer F:\burst\plots\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_1_3735936_4096

same settings on my laptop went at 16k/min with a 4gb r9 m375

You want just the bare chips? If yes I would say you are probably going to have to salvage them from usb miners 5 at a time... I looked on alibaba for a while it might have the ic you need but i don't know i think it would be more fruitful and cheaper to buy used usb 5 chip miners and carefully remove them than find the chips. But even if you made a custom board with 1000s of those chips they would use more power than they generate in coin...

Did the airdrop even happen? How could one go about proving the coins were dropped successfully, and specifically in Iceland? Then, what keeps one man from finding the dropped stash then hoarding all the currency for himself?
the addresses where the coins were stored was published they had a facebook and sms verified system and yes there was a small percentage of people who was able to use a proxy to claim coins without being a icelandic citizen but those numbers are low and limited to pre-existing facebook accounts...

the coin has been suffering crippling high difficulty and long block times for long transaction times i would say the coin is going to be extra volatile for the next 2-3 weeks the question is where it is going to stabilize high or low if it is going to succeed it needs to stabilize as high as it can. If it ends up devalued to the point the fiat currency is worth close to the same then it is dead.

honestly initial value is not something to go by all these coins start high then plunge to the floor to rise from there since it turned out not to be a scam i see this coin living.

that is one of the problems when the pools hop on aur they freeze the chain till difficulty adjusts then it moves again look back 10 or so pages you will see this has been an issue for the past 1000 blocks on an upside the fork should fix it. But it has been an uphill battle to get to block 5400. im holding till the coin either goes to the moon or at least until it hits .057 again really wish i had sold at .17

guys realize unlike the auroracoin this one is for united states citizens who live on the reservations and get more things given to them than they know what to do with. First off they are living in zones exempt from several federal and state laws and taxes. They have more programs to go to college free get food free get clothing free and nearly every one of them gets around $500-1600 every month just because they are a member of the tribe. On top of all the federal programs a US citizen is eligible for.

The lakota people do not need this coin and every lakota i asked if they knew about this coin said no and all wanted me to look into it for them so they could get the free monies to go piss away on alcohol and tobacco... THIS IS A SCAM COIN meant to make a few rich lakota richer...

aur blockchain stuck on 5086 now i wish they would let the block chain go or the dev could patch it before the 5400 mark to fix the exploit some groups are using to freeze the blockchain.

blocks are going so slow it is looking like the coin is being hammered again 114 blocks till fork 4 days till airdrop and it will take a week to hit 5200 at the rate blocks are crawling by.

March 17th: A hard fork has been implemented.

    Rules on block timestamps altered
   Forks at block 5400
    Gravity well added
Block time halved, reward halved, halving time doubled
Doah 314 blocks left yeah were not making that before the 25th. Especially with it getting stuck I think there are people exploiting the chain.
