You need to install Java 8.

You have to download and install Java 7 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Folks,
Is there a place we can see the Nis public APIs ? A Javadoc or wiki post. Currently the only way to see it is in the Ncc console.
Are these APIs stable or are they likely to change significantly ?

Just submitted a bug report through Google forms. The problem are: (1) no place to add attachments (2) no feedback about bug id or anything we can use to track for further discussion.
Please consider a better alternative.

Omar and Hiro, I truly appreciate your work and your long term thinking. The roadmap looks impressive, even if you are able to implement only part of it, this will still provide benefit to the community.
I know these are tough times for you but hang in there. Your persistence and dedication will pay off !

I don't understand how the "Import QR" feature works ...
I created a new address, displayed it using "Show QR Code" and then saved to a .png file
Opened the .png file in mspaint which displayed the QR Code.
Clicked "Import QR", pointed the window at the QR Code displayed in mspaint and clicked "Snap".
Well, the window closed and nothing happened ...
What am I missing ?

Dear NAS team. You copied the NXT protocol as is (did not even bother to change some of the labels) and you are distributing coins which are only worth few satoshies which people go and immediately dump on dgex.

What is your plan ? Do you have a killer feature you are working on ?

From the information at http://www.buysafecoins.com/ its unclear if you have to send exactly one BTC or one MSC or if you can send, say, 0.1 BTC to receive 1700 Safecoins.

I've been mining this coin for over 2 weeks now using my dual 7950 rig with 0 down time.
The temperature maxed at 58C.
It's the most stable and well managed coin I've seen so far.

Regarding "scripting" language take a look at the Arduino development language. This is a minimal subset of C which has a designer built in Java and complete tool chain.

I mean that if someone poses 1% of all coins in circulation you'll award him 1% of the amount you like to share. However, at the current situation of 0 mining it also makes sense to compensate the would be miners.

Are you going to promote this coin now ?
If you like to share coins I recommend you do this based on proof of stake.
