MAGNET COIN SWAP ANNOUNCEMENT

MAGNET was launched almost a year ago. Since then we have released several services and created an inclusive MAG ecosystem
including our biggest achievement to date: the release of Magnet Merchant Tools which offer
streamlined invoicing, checkout flow and truly decentralized B2C payments to standalone and Woocommerce websites.

Our first year was also punctuated by many security challenges (including 2 hard forks) that we successfully solved while creating unique solutions
such as the secluded miners, and masternode meta data, a 100% decentralized solution to masternode Proof-of-Work rewards.

After a thoughtful overview of our codebase, we have decided that we would need a major update to encompass the latest technology
improvements from Bitcoin Core and move forward with our infrastructure from solid grounds.

We have therefore decided to re-base our chain from a PIVX fork. PIVX being a direct fork of Dash and Bitcoin Core (as well as a great team),
we would then be able to incorporate security and infrastructure improvements very quickly while focusing on the core features we bring to MAG users.

While most specs will remain unchanged, a few protocol changes will occur and contribute to improved security and infrastructure:

-   Moving from PoS/PoW hybrid to full PoS.
-   Faster block time for merchants (60 seconds).
-   Steadier rewards scheme.

We will communicate in more details (date, timeframe, modalities) in the coming days through announcements and blog posts so stay tuned.
Any questions feel free to ask.

PARTICIPANTS

All holders of MAGNET (MAG) currency.

LOCATION
Exchanges to be determined.

RECOMMENDED TO KEEP YOURSELF UPDATED!

Hey Smutboy,

YES, definitely  Smiley Pool is running healthy 24/7 with no more problems. We have two constant workers and I would love to see some more hash power Grin
Please spread the word

Hi everyone,

the pool is finally up and running + payouts are working.

http://pepe.mine.bz

The pool fee is 1.5%, you don't need an account. This is configuration for a D3 miner:

URL:             stratum+tcp://pepe.mine.bz:3032
Worker:        your wallet address
Password:     anything

You can PM me, if you have further questions.
Happy mining  Smiley

Hey,

finally the pool is running and I'm able to find blocks, which are not rejected. But still the pool thinks they are: We thought a block was found but it was rejected by the daemon.
The blocks are not rejected, I do get the rewards. As long I'm the only miner, this is no problem, but for the payment to work, the pool has to recognize them as valid blocks...
It seems to be a problem with the correct blockhash. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thx in advance.

Hey Smutboy,

I used this pepe nomp github rep to set up my server Sad
I also checked some other nomp github reps, they all got this error:

Could not start pool, error with init RPC getblockchaininfo - {"code":-32601,"message":"Method not found"}

Maybe you could contact pepeteam for me? Since I'm a newbie I'm not allowed to do that Sad

best way to get hold of anyone from the pepe team would be to go to the telegram chat here ---> https://t.me/pepecoins

Hey there,

I already tried that and can try again, but I think it's not gonna work...

I still hope, that someone of the devs will check in and send me a PM to sort this out.

Thank you smutboy.
Unfortunately I knew that already and the yiimp guys are telling me the wallet daemon is suppose to sort this out. I don’t get it. I’ve tried to setup a nomp mining pool but the wallet daemon and the pool can’t talk to each other. This problem should be fixed: https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/issues/588 but it isn’t. Right now I don’t see a way to get a pool up and running…

Hi pepeteam,

I'm not allowed to send you an PM since I'm a newbie, so hopefully you'll read this.

I'm trying to get pepecoin running on my yiimp pool, but all blocks are rejected. The debug.log tells me this:
ERROR: CheckBlock() : first tx is not coinbase
ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED

When I switch to POS, it says:

2018-07-15 09:33:46 ERROR: ConnectBlock(): check proof-of-work failed for block, dev rewards mising.

Could you pls tell me how to fix it? Or anybody...
Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Hi,

yes, but unfortunately all blocks are rejected. I get this error in the debug.log:
2018-07-15 10:22:29 ERROR: CheckBlock() : first tx is not coinbase

Where can I find the .conf file content and Addnodes?

Get addnodes here: -> https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/XCXT/
The community release wallet (v2.1) is very stable. I run 2 MN's within the wallet 24x7 with no issues for like months already.

what is the full name of .conf file? xcxt.conf or coinonanx.conf?
I do not have that file in the Roaming/CoinonatX folder.

I am trying XCXT wallet on my three computers, but i have the same problem with crashing.

Hi,
in case you still want to know, the conf file is coinonatx.conf. And the wallet runs stable, once the chain is fully synced.

Hi everyone,

I still hope that he is coming back, when crypto prices are up again. It probably just makes no sense for him right now. Or he has personal problems, which I don’t hope.
Let’s keep our minds positive. This coin is still alive, as long there is a community behind it.

Hi everyone,

I couldn't find any pools running PepeCoin, so I've added the coin to my pool. Sadly, my power is not enough to find any blocks...
I've found a dash and many bitcore blocks in the past, so in general the pool is working.

The pool fee is 0%, you don't need an account. This is configuration for a D3 miner:

URL:      mp.mine.bz:3533#xnsub
Worker:   your wallet address
Password:   c=pepe,d=92

You can PM me, if you have further questions.
