Buying RTX3080/RTX3090 (EU)

I will buy one RTX3080/RTX3090 for me and my son to play games.
If there is a miner who has stopped mining and has a card for good money, write me, I would buy one.
I live in Czech Republic so within the European Union, not outside the European Union due to vat and tax.
I would prefer the RTX3090 because of more VRAM, more future-proof. But it all depends on the price. If someone were to offer an RTX3080 for a bargain, I wouldn't mind buying an RTX3080 as well.

In the miner's directory have readme.txt file. You could find this in there:

-wdog <n>
   Enable watchdog timer: 1 - yes, 0 - no (1 is the default). The
   watchdog timer checks periodically if any of the GPUs freezes and
   if it does, restarts the miner (see the "-rmode" command-line
   parameter for the restart modes)

-wdtimeout <n>
   Watchdog timeout (30 - 300; default 45 seconds). You can use this
   parameter to increase the default watchdog timeout in case it
   restarts the miner needlessly

-rmode <n>
   Selects the restart mode when a GPU crashes or freezes: :0:
   disabled - miner will shut down instead of restarting :1: restart
   with the same command line options - this is the default :2: reboot
   (shut down miner and execute "reboot.bat")

So I added into my bat file these parametres and looks it ok:  -log 0 -wdog 1 -rmode 1 -nvidia

Guys when I want enable watchdog function for moments when my gpu crash, for automatical restart Phoenix miner, must I write manually into my bat file "-wdog 1" or watchdog function works automatically without any additional parametr in file?

        --no-watchdog              Disable built-in watchdog (watchdog enabled by default )
        --watchdog-exit-mode   Specifies the action "A" the watchdog should take if the miner gets restarted "N" times
                                   within "M" minutes.
                                   Format: N:M:A. Valid values:
                                                  N: any positive integer,
                                                  M: any positive integer,
                                                  A: r(system reboot), s(system shutdown), e(miner exit)
                                   Actions "r" and "s" require running the miner with administrative privileges.
                                   Examples:
                                   20:10:s - watchdog will shutdown the system if the miner gets restarted 20 times
                                             within any 10 minute interval
                                   5:7:r   - watchdog will reboot the system if the miner gets restarted 5 times
                                             within any 7 minute interval

## Watchdog
Watchdog is intended to observe miner state and restart T-Rex if it crashes or hangs for any reason.
Also, watchdog can optionally perform auto updates if a newer version is available.
We recommend using the watchdog to avoid any downtime in mining and make sure your GPUs are busy 24/7.
If you do need to disable the watchdog, you can do so using `--no-watchdog` parameter.

Hi, thanks for your post. So I can set watchdog: disable autoupdates but enabled trex application restart if crash or stop works right?
