Any news about the premine? - I dont think something will change ...
Yes. The dev team did a q&a chat earlier today where the premine and current status (and reasons for dev silence and recent behavior) were addressed. I believe a transcript or summary will be posted shortly. Some people have already summed up on Earthcointalk, but I will defer to the official statement.
Sounds good. I'll wait for the summary ..... and for some changes in the behavoir of the devs .... before i invest 1 satoshi again ....

Nice comment - positive for a change. I think there are two threads around this coin - one is the premine/devs - the other is the branding for this coin and what the community could do to develop it. The noise around the former depends on a certain kind of investment mentality that doesn't want to build anything, the latter takes longer to consolidate and so can get drowned out initially. I hope the latter can get off the ground so that this coin can survive.
Since yesterday I've felt good about EAC. As people have said, it will survive, one way or another. People are so easy to jump to conclusions and panic - they believe just about anything written here (good or bad). Once bitcoin starts to rise again all altcoins will have easier time too.Multipools seem to be hitting EAC much less now, I see only about 4 spikes in difficulty last 24 hours. I've finally had some decent results mining EAC
If you lost some BTC, you wouldn't think that way....
Of course. But to lose money while the dev's doing nothing or making worthless promisses would make everyone getting angry ....

I just bought 960,000EAC at market price and gave them to ATXsilver via Earthazaar for 16 Silver Dollars... I am loving EAC!!!

I also believed for a long time into Earthcoin and lost a substantial sum of money. But enough is enough. I cannot wait anymore for the price to "maybe" go up again. It is just a lesson for the future to not believe every word you read and don't invest into a coin in the long run. I took most of my investment (that shrunk down to less than a quarter) out when it was around the 50s - and I am glad I did, as it reached the 25s already.
U did it right.... I sold everything @ 40 and lost so much money.....

btc climbing back up slowly, but alt coins still mostly down still, maybe they'll catch up in the next few days? any thoughts/trends being noticed by you crypto veterans?
If it spiked like it did in november but upto $2000 then leveled off we'd see a resurgence in alts.
Until then its probably only going to be either good news from the devs or pumpers and dumper groups im afraid.
I don't believe in good news .... the silence by the devs will go on ....
