I wasn't asking for life advice, but thanks for your irrelevant posts.  I've already mined a block so I know it's possible.  I was in a pool so I had to share it.  The pool wouldn't even want my hash power if I didn't have a chance to mine it myself.  I don't think either of you understand how probability works.

I've tried to find a way.  It seems like nobody knows.  There was a way to do it 3 years ago (https://github.com/brian112358/nevermore-miner/wiki/Solo-mining) but this no longer works as there is a new algorithm.  This method also doesn't seem to work with newer miners because there isn't equivalent commands for the newer miners (at least the ones I'm using).

I know how to "solo-mine" using a solo-mining pool, but that's not what I'm looking for.  I want to know how to do it 100% solo.  Does anyone know of a way to do it?
