So I'm new to the bitcoin world and looking to borrow some BTC to help improve my online credibility. I am looking for a 1 BTC which I can payback along with 50% interest in 1 month. I realize I don't have any cred in the BTC-world which is why I am willing to pay such ridiculous interest. If interested in lending to me, please message me
You shouldn't ask for lending the first day you join. Become active with the community and get your name known. In the meantime why not mine some BTC for yourself? I have a thread here in the "Newbie" area so you can get started mining tonight!
Ahhh.. I assumed that block erupter blades used Avalon chips.
BFL chips look a bit hard to hand solder . Are there PCB's available for them?
Thanks!
From my understanding, I think BFL is a bit scammy so I would probably advise against pre ordering chips from them and instead go with other companies that have a higher odds of delivering

I think it is just lower ranks, it probably gets reduced as your rank increases
some tips: buy bitcoins - ignore altcoins, they're mostly shit and not worth your time. don't gamble (mentioned before), do not trust anyone and always use escrow.
As a newbie I have to ask- how to get -5 trust with activity=14? Or... how to not get it?! Anyone can just click "don't trust" and you're scammy?
I think that is a little bit how it works, you just have to hope that nobody does that
So, there were the "0 block", then a few computers were calculating next blocks, and if one found a correct one it was added to the block chain (although it has no transactions in it) and it's owner got 50BTC. It continued for some time and then a guy bought pizza for 10k BTC. Is that correct? .
From my moderate understanding, that is basically correct

Just don't gamble, the house always wins. Then if you do gamble, don't complain after you loose everything you have
Not sure on the exact qty at the moment but approx 2 BTC
Am prepared to pay 70 GBP per BTC
Seeing as your a easy target for scammers by being alright with sending first, i would recommend that you use the site virwox for you bitcoins, however i am not sure on the fees which may be high.
Or you can just use escrow

I would most likely recommend 3 7950s and a bit more RAM to ensure proper mining if you are going with script
