WHOA....pump the brakes a sec!  Almost missed the scope of this!  U are sayin there is a 200+ph miner who FAILS over to the pool randomly?  That's a really big fish in a really small pond!  Not complaining, just wondering the logic of such a move

No doubt it's a hard time to mine...I'm no where near profitable right now, just trying to get through the hard times.  As far as rentals, we've had this conversation.  Don't think that's a factor.  Alot of miners we lost are in the range between U and me (35-50th)  and the big boys  (say .5Ph).  I'm concerned that those are an important part of the user base.  I wish I could look at some other pools hashrate distribution stats for comparison (ie slush),  If this is an industry wide issue, then oh well.  

Guys I just did some math while waiting for a pie to bake...ya ya ya I know,  I'm no mathmetician,  I'm not smart enough to do a wire xfer remember?  Seems 73% of the pool's hashrate is the top ten miners.  there's 1075 users currently active, and that number is WAY down from when I started mining here.  Not complaining, but looking at it from the angle that this is hardly a decentralized effort.  I know that attracting the whales is a key step for this pool to move forward, and for all I know that 73% number might look very decentralized compared to our competition, but it seems we are losing the little guy in droves!  How to keep the small timer's around I wonder?  And attract more?   I came here from slush and have not regretted that decision at all, but, I am starting to see my opinion shift into the minority!

O great...there's that angle!  I don't even remember what I chose for shipping.  O well, after this cluster is resolved I will be glad to have any shipping of any kind.  Or maybe I will get my obamacoin back and I can forget the whole incident and move forward w/BTC.  Seems everyone thinks bitmain is an evil company...that may be true, but when dealing w/my bank and bitmain at the same time I have found the lesser of the two evils to be bitmain by a long shot!

All May not be lost!  After long hold times w/the bank and email sessions w/bitmain I have gotten them to admit the fact that the problem COULD be on their end (the banks end).  This would be another lifetime first for me made possible by the crazy adventure that is bitcoin mining...MAN what a crazy business we got ourselves mixed up in hey?

I tried to do exactly that and that's even more frustrating.  I didn't wan't to trade any BTC right now as we are in a dip, so I tried to buy direct from buttmain w/usd wire.  Even had the support guy from the bank on the phone while I made the xfer.  Now a week+ buttmain still claims they haven't received anything and the bank swears up and down it was delivered.  Am I literally too damn stoopid to mine bitcoin?  Hell I'm too stoopid to be trusted w/flat currency too I guess.  I mighta flushed most of my profits in a single mouse click.    AAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!  

EDIT:  oh ya that mass email that they are dropping prices again was the final kick in the 'nads...looking for a email as to where my money went, and get that...I should change my username to 1dumbass.  Should any of you folks start a post w/"@1dumbass" I will assume you are talking to me!

Trezor gets angry when you make it receive lots of small payments.  It does work but it starts warning you that it's resources are getting sucked up and your acct takes a long time to load.  I use a core desktop wallet as my own little clearing house to accumulate mining payouts, then consolidate those UTXOs to trezor at regular intervals.  Use the "replace by fee" feature and set the fees to the minimum allowed.  Time is not much of a factor when you are just moving money from one of your pockets to another.  It only took me 3 months of mining to figure this out.  If you are the type who really values privacy, running a core node wallet on a desktop has serious privacy advantages over spv wallets.  I'm not that paranoid...but it can't hurt
