Enjin, because it has a low market cap ($20M), but is run by the biggest company in minecraft and has an optimal usecase for online assets.

Already passed 13k, 15k will probably happen in just a few days if not sooner.

Enjin is undervalued in my opinion because their marketcap is only $20M yet they are run by the biggest company in minecraft who are developing it very professionally. I see it easily reaching a marketcap of $200M in the next 2 months.

Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat?

Cash will always have a place as it works in an offline world, something a digital currency can never replace. It's likely however that digital currencies will take over many of the roles we currently have for fiat where it makes sense to do so.

Re: BTC 12000 NEW PROFIT

no anyone here think bitcoin can reach 15k-20k by the end of this year. I only curious about Chirsmas holiday and new year holiday. See many bitcoin china trader sell their bitcoin at this time

I read an interesting article somewhere, I was thinking a correction is due (since $8000) btc now unstoppable. The writer of the article claim there will be a correction at $25 000.

I guess time will tell this is all speculation.

Whatever the case may be, when something goes up so fast its bound to experience huge crashes too, whether thats at $12k or $25k is anyone's guess but you know there's a bubble when no one is willing to believe there is.

I would definitely recommend localbitcoins, you can decide the payment method yourself and you don't have to physically meet the person.

Otherwise go for a real exchange, bitstamp works great for me but you will need to verify your identity before you can use it.

I like the concept and I hope the funding is a success, though from the website it looks like it got off to a slow start after a successful presale. In any case I will be following this ICO closely.

Re: What makes you a whale?
by

Most people here are suggesting a whale is someone with hundreds of thousands of bitcoins, but in reality it depends on the coin. Someone who invested 1k in an ICO that generates just 500k is already kind of a whale in that coin especially if that coin has very little liquidity.

Look on any of the slack trading channels where someone who puts in a buy or sell of 5 btc for midcap coins are usually referred to as whales.

Re: [ANN] BITCOINPRO TOKEN - token with the most practical usage [AIRDROP]
by

on 30/11/2017, 23:35:47 UTC
This week we got so many scum Airdrop saying its free but need donation just to get the token then what you leave after you reach your goal. I'm out.

I also don't see any groundbreaking idea being delivered in this or other airdrop tokens. It looks like a cash grab either way. If the token succeeds the dev cashes out by selling tokens, and if it doesn't they still earn on the donations.

There are many red flags: the coin already spiked, the market cap is huge while the coin is young.
I'm not saying that it's not an interesting project, but I suggest to buy after the correction.

Yep, never FOMO in at the top. I can't see any reason for it to jump so high so fast, people getting in now will see a brutal correction.

I used to stress over it but don't really anymore, I know in the long term I will be in a profit. But I still check blockfolio multiple times every single day of my life. Seems to be kind of like an addiction sometimes.

Currently I'm up on most of my coins as well, though I didn't count what % of them.

Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet?

Isn't BCC sort of considered an altcoin at this stage though?

Yes it is and exactly the reason why this thread is in altcoin discussion section.

I dumped mine the first day for 0.2 btc of pure profit since btc never dropped much during the fork.

Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable
by
mademerich
on 04/08/2017, 20:24:58 UTC
By the way, I think they said it should take no more than one or two months to ship out the card
The whole future of this project will depend on how fast they can deliver the cards. If they can start to distribute them fast before any other competing project/coin* can, then PAY will be the winner. (* card that allows all crypto)

First mover advantage, we will see who will win, Tenx seems to have a headstart so far.

The same reason bitcoin wins over most other coins, they simply made it first. And yes Tenx has a major headstart currently so I'm not worried.

Re: Hold or sell.... really? Better question: WHEN TO BUY
by
mademerich
on 04/08/2017, 20:22:10 UTC
Buy at $2000 will be the best buying position for now. If there is a very strong fundamentals issues then the waking neal my fell below $1750 support and resistance level. Hope we remain strong.

I suggest buying now, once it hits $3000 and stays there for more than just a blip it will quickly increase further to $3500-$4000 before the next correction occurs.

Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH?
by

on 04/08/2017, 20:17:50 UTC
I see BCH price is around 0.094 BTC at time of writing. I am considering to buy some. I hope the price will raise because of all the media attention.

What do you guys think buy or not buy?

My prediction is that it will bottom out below 0.04 before bouncing back and staying at the 0.05-0.1 range in the medium term.

The idea sounds nice but I don't feel it has any chance of working in the real world because there is more to group purchasing than just negotiating prices, there is also distribution etc which is much harder to organise for people that are not located in the same area.

Re: Bitcoin (btc) close to $3,000
by
mademerich
on 01/08/2017, 16:34:36 UTC
No any blocks were mined in bitcoin cash which shows majority of hashpower is with bitcoin so bitcoin is already safe for transactions. But nobody are being able to move their BCC to sell on high prices.

When all those free BCC will hit market, fiat form them might flow towards bitcoin. So I am expecting over $3k price within next few days.

Death of BCC will lead to BTC going up a lot.

Re: Crash Speculation - BTC, ETH, LTC, GNT, GNO price drop
by
mademerich
on 09/06/2017, 03:07:20 UTC
My prediction LTC and GNO will have a big price drop. GNT will fall moderately while BTC and ETH will continue on a path upwards.

What do I base this on? LTC doesn't offer much as a currency and GNO has been vastly overpriced since the ICO without any real product delivered yet. GNT is a good project but its been pumped too much over the last months while BTC and ETH work as intended and are being used more and more.

Re: Waves vs Stratis
by
mademerich
on 09/06/2017, 03:05:35 UTC
Both are good projects but to me the main difference is that the Waves team always overpromises and underdelivers to the point of being ridiculous. The Stratis team on the other hand always deliver as good or better as they promise without any unecessary hype.
