accusations=yes conspiracy theories =not even close

negative balances=repeatedly blocks do not get orphaned after a months time especially when we have not been mining it

--clipped

Thank God for the ignore button.  It amazes me how either you genuinely are just an idiot and can't understand a simple explanation or are just trying to discredit wafflepool.  I'm leaning towards the later since even an idiot would switch to a different pool if they genuinely thought that a pool was scamming them.

Something is definitely off with X11 on the global stats page.  It looks like my miners are getting about .00032/mh/s/day over the last 12 hours, and the top bar consistently shows the pool at 300%+ LTC, but the site is showing .00018/117%.  Not a huge deal but I'm pretty sure something is off there.

The top % is running average while on the stats page its 24hr average

Almost, the top is the last full 24 hours.  The stats page is the day in UTC.  So when UTC time is 1:00am that stat only accounts for 1 hour.  So basically the top never "resets" it just updates as time goes by, while the stats page resets at midnight UTC to give historical data on how well each physical day goes.

If you rented out a building to someone, you would want to know what they are doing or else you could end up with some kind of  child porn business that could ultimately effect you. I know totally different subject but same principle.

This is a terrible analogy -- Owning the building does not grant you rights to the IP that is developed on the premises.

If you were a owner of a house or a commercial building , would you want to know that your tenants were not jeopardizing your property due to criminal actions?

i wasnt asking the pool owners to so called rights , but i was asking them to simply display the numbers they should already have in their profit formula.

I will not attempt to argue with you because I can see you point and it is valid to some extent (though your analogies definitely need work  Tongue).  My best recommendation for you is to stop trying to get wafflepool to show you even more of what happens behind the scenes and find a different pool that does (If you can find one).  If you don't like something, no one is forcing you to mine here.

Chugging away with my measly 6 Mh/s Smiley

Nothing is too measly! Every single bit helps and we appreciate all the support! I would love to be in here more, but I'm busy nugging away at v1.1.1 (checkpoints, Linux GUI, and other tidbits) and the multipool that will pay in JUDGECOIN! Just wanted to pop up and say HI! So, HI!

Back to the land of screen, nano, make, mv, node, and redis. :-)

I was able to get it the Qt wallet to compile under Linux (Kubuntu 13.10) with a minor tweak to the code (original would throw errors).  I wouldn't mind sharing the solution if that is what you are referring to.

**edit** PM'd you with my solution

PW, are you aware of the Vertcoin fork that the dev team created to roll back a massive theft transaction from MintPal? Does that mean that you have to update in order to keep Vertcoin working in the Scrypt N pool?

I believe that you are confusing Vertcoin with Vericoin.  AFAIK Vericoin is the one that was forked.

[snipped]

I have paid 100 Judge Coins to each of the following addresses out of my personal funds as a reward for supporting our official pool Smiley

JNdC3Dr7gHzQCCCm22FyvL8dPDxzBhBLfF
JX4UsPXpNwtgpQBGKdKVaECAJQS7UGRfPd
JWpsw1NZQrBzZmXwCVVJHBTR3KneiHEUcJ
JKYkWMgua2NCmxfP5ZfUmGqFvrdKo5WHKm
JZ1KTmMQU9YzCWSVQThXtuNRdQ3k4oPb2i
JYtxZkjKrZdjXGWDxq3aKsQjid4B91kq7T
JchR5NMSoS1ZvuUSSjzJSfHWBYjmdUUWeM
JXSi9KSvuAjVgWmrdiNp4GNPFmN3145Hfu
JVLniyNfHirpByq2JyTAT1vekxxNB3bfXM

Thanks a lot for both of your 100 coin bonus giveaways.  I do feel kinda bad as I own 2 of those addresses and received 400 coins instead of the 200 everyone else got.  I can't figure out which address to return them to, it says in my wallet transaction details that they came from "unknown".

BTW, for future giveaways you could omit one of my addresses, I have one of my smaller workers mining on JKYkWMgua2NCmxfP5ZfUmGqFvrdKo5WHKm so I can more easily track that it is submitting shares properly while the bulk of my mining is on JX4UsPXpNwtgpQBGKdKVaECAJQS7UGRfPd.

Just a minor bug in judgecoin pool:

shares: 427   invalid: 24    efficiency: 86.73%

I think "efficiency" is wrong.

Disclaimer: I have little to none understanding of how pools work.
From my understanding, each share holds a certain "weight" depending on what difficulty you are mining on.  So if say you are mining at 256 difficulty then each share has 1/2 the value as if it was at difficulty 512.  So just speculating, it is possible that the shares that are valid and the shares that are stale have different weights since the pool uses vardiff and your difficulty may have changed somewhere.

Feel free for someone to correct me or validate my understanding.
**edit** Looks like I was mostly wrong  Tongue

I do have another suggestion for the pool.  It seems that the worker stats are reset every minute which leads to a huge variance.  One minute it reports 20MH/s for me and the next 8MH/s.  It would be very nice if it could be averaged out over a longer period of time such as 15 minutes or so.

Poolwaffle, can you add a way to set the vsLTC multipliers for X11, X13, X15, nscrypt? Cookies or just parameters to the url or something, since we all have different ones based on the card, drivers used, script, operation system, etc, so we can easily see what is best for us to mine? Something like:
http://wafflepool.com/stats/x11?x11=4.5&x13=3.7.. etc?

While it certainly isn't as nice as having it native to the wafflepool website, I created a little script that pulls the current BTC/MHs/D and multiplies that by your actual hash rate to give you an estimate of what you'd expect to make in BTC for each algorithm.  You can find it at http://149.5.241.57 for now anyway, I will probably give it a more permanent home sometime or take it down if PW implements it natively.

Hi judgecrypto,

I have a question about your official pool.  I was mining solo last night and found 2 blocks but I diverted some of my hash rate back to wafflepool (X11 btw) and pointed the rest at your pool.  Is there any way to show an approximate payout based on hash rate?

I understand it depends on how lucky we are since the pool has fairly low hash rate but maybe you could do something like take the average hash rate of the pool, the number of blocks solved, and the miner's hash rate over a period of time such as like a day.

If it's too difficult to implement I understand, it would just be nice to have a ballpark figure.

Use mega free cloud hosting Smiley and let them supply the bandwidth for your project.
The vsLTC figures displayed are based on constants and are just estimated.  I find my MHs of X13 lower than X11 and this is to be expected as X13 adds two more layers ...
Personally I get much higher hashrates than the constant used for calculating vsLTC.

I get higher than the 4x LTC for x11 and the 3.5x LTC for x13 as well.  I meant to say that the vsLTC reported by waffle right now makes you think you will make a lot more with x13 than you would with x11.  But my actual hashes are 17.8MH x11 or 13.2MH x13.  So if you multiply that by the BTC/MHs/D they come out to be about equal for me even though it is reported that x11 is only 208% while x13 is 260%.

And thanks for the tip about the hosting service, I will look into that.  Right now I just have it on a dedicated server I own that does other things than http.

You might consider including the time since the counter was reset. (Midnight UTC)  The partial daily earnings will swing wildly at the beginning of the day and more slowly at the end of the day, this needs to be taken into account for that data to be useful.

Right now it just uses the straight up BTC/MHs/D from the most current day so it would fluctuate wildly during the beginning.  I couldn't see in any API to pull the last 24hrs like waffle has at the top.  Maybe I could get him to include one.

**edit** Just added a hours and minutes since the BTC/MHs/D reset.  Took me a little while to figure out how to do that (I'm not much of a programmer)  Seems my server's time is a few minutes off so I will try and figure out how to fix that.

If anyone is interested, I created a quick and ugly php script to pull the profitability of each of Waffle's algorithms and use your actual hash rates for each algo to tell you which is most profitable.

I find the vsLTC to be completely wrong as I get vastly more x11 hashes than I do x13.  So like right now, x13 looks a lot more profitable but when you do the math I get roughly the exact same payouts.

This was more of a personal project and I was only going to do x11 and x13 but scrypt and scrypt-n wasn't any more difficult.  If there is interest in it I could probably add in a power factor to calculate in power costs or any other suggestions.

Sorry, I don't have a domain name I can use for it right now but you can get it at: http://149.5.241.57

I personally would have to agree with utahjohn I don't think the multi-pools are really affecting it too much.  I just started mining this coin myself, got about 23MH solo mining right now and would hate for it to end before I can get any.
