Re: BTC Poker Room - NEW DEPOSIT PROCESS
by

I looked back at my transactions more carefully and I'm sure I did deposit .10 bitcoins into BTC poker room on 8/14/2011 to 19fFRkZ7zxiSX8Z2goiogDDEs9n1ht87BGS. I did screw up on the 10 bitcoins and I'm sorry about that, but I am relived at the same time. How do I show I deposited? I took a screen shot of the transaction and see no way of attaching it or pasting it. Hopefully madsokrates will speak up again also.

Sorry, I should have clarified. The 800 chips I tried to withdraw were won in a freeroll. After waiting around to use them for a bit I decided to withdraw because no one was playing. That withdraw never showed up. So no, I never made a deposit. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yeah, same happened to me with the btc poker room shutdown. It disappeared while I was waiting on a .8 btc withdrawal which has never showed up. This was maybe 10 days ago.

Well it's cool... I don't quite understand the logic of the game... do you lose health when the codes hit you? or only when they get past you? does every game get roughly the same number of beneficial vs harmful bonuses? where does money come from besides the chunks that drop every now and then?

It is fun and looks great!

Re: Introduce yourself :) Deepbit Worker for every card
by
madsokrates
on 17/08/2011, 18:38:31 UTC
Over the last week or so I started noticing that I when using the deepbit pool my collective Mhash rate was not reflecting the correct total for the number of cards I have in total. There were times when it was as much as 30-40 percent lower than it should have been. I created a different worker for each video card and the problem has resolved itself. This is only my experience but I thought I would post this message in case anyone else may have the same issue.

BK

I actually noticed the same thing when I got set up, but senior members explained that you're just going to see different numbers from time to time on the pool's website because they typically calculate your estimated hash rate over the last 10-15 minutes. The estimate is based on the amount of work your computer requests, which is based on how successful it has been at solving shares, so there's an element of chance involved in the number displayed on the pool's website. Note, this is all secondhand knowledge and your issue may in fact be different since you're using multiple cards, but I just thought I'd let you know so you weren't dismayed if/when you saw a variance in your hash rate again.

I will probaly go over matching 1 btc I am using address 1126QP7Cvpcb3dn6kFVEuc36eNJDTbMXSV and I think I sent in from another one once too.

What do you mean? You'll match higher than 1 btc total, or per bet?

Right, but if that really is the only sure way to kill it, then getting in any time before that big bet is ideal... even then, as high as the jackpot is getting, it might merit going for with smaller bets. I'm gonna keep playing at least until I see something big. It's very interesting...

Just a heads up to anybody who wants to test this place out: I've set up a private table named 'Agora'. They say it will be ready about four hours from this posting, but I'm going to set a tentative start time for 8 PM EST tomorrow (Wed., August 18th). The password for the room is 'charybdis' sans quotes. We'll start at the given time if at least 3 players have shown up, otherwise check back here for rescheduling. Cheers!

i do wonder what the decisive moment in a round like this would be... jackpot's just gonna grow, so it seems silly to think that interest would just fizzle. I wonder if there's a way to search the site database to find out if any round has had such a high min.bet:jackpot ratio

Just so you're all aware, I will continue to reinvest my freerolled btc in this round indefinitely. I realize this means I will ultimately lose it (though hopefully not for a good while!), but the way I see it, the coin belongs to the community... So help bitcoin out, help bitcoinduit out, have some fun and play the game!
