It can definitely be delayed sometimes.  I've gone over 2-3 hours without seeing a single coin and they they all show up after a database purge.  My hash rate is identical to your range and it can take 6 hours before I see 600-800 Doge show up on the portal.  The longer you mine a pool the better your variance gets and the odds of receiving more coin.

Not working here.  Front-end and miners are down.  I switched to Litecoin for now just to minimize the damage.  I wonder what's going on.  I have quite a few doge sitting in Fast-Pool right now.  They usually work through this stuff pretty quick though, especially compared to some other pools.

I work at an electronics retailer who shall remain nameless.  I can get the R9-270X for $220 from Asus, or $217 from XFX.  850W thermaltake PSU for about $90.  After an amazon mobo, some risers, and a 45W sempron processor I'm good to go.  I have an unopened Crucial 64GB SSD and a few copies of Windows 7 and 8.1 lying around so The build should give me a pretty quick ROI.

Thank you guys for the quick response.  This is amusing so me so far... I just started mining for the first time a few days ago.  I'm using a GTX 770 on my game rig and an AMD 6870 on the server.  I'm basically doing a 1 week trial one so I can show the wife some actual numbers of how this all works and what a small investment would/could yield over the coming months.  I hope this isn't too common lol.  At least the mining process never stopped!  I switched to 3002 as requested.

Just to clarify,

I've been hashing over 600 Khash/s for the past 4-5 hours and I have 0 in unconfirmed coins.  Am I just wasting a lot of power now or will it all magically show up soon?
