Why do you think that this would be a joke?
Just a good coin as any other good coin. I guess you will be angry with yourself in several weeks / months, when the value of this coin has increased a lot, and you just didnt mine, buy, trade it.

Yeah sure, coin has to get more public. But as our "common" money only works because everyone believes in it, i thought maybe if someone would start a page where you can get everything for coins only, there might be a chance to "establish" a new finance system 
(but maybe that will be the result after several years of cryptocurrencies and for now i have to be patient, well i will put some more thoughts in this, maybe there is sth i can program to support this coin or even coins in general)
About the totalamount of coins, would be nice to have the pools list the total amount alongside with the nethashrate and stuff.

@mtg can you give some more information about the upcoming features?
Maybe these features could attract more people?
@gminerz if i would start a new coin, there would be a total amount of x coin per user so everyone can be rich but aslong as its impossible to hinder people from Creating multiple accounts this coin will never exist, YOu might want to ask, how to mine? just like now, but everyone cant get more by mining than his personal limit. I guess we need atleast 5 to 10 years to be able to introduce something like that.

i am mining this coin (my first real participation in this) for 14days now. WIth some interruptions, my gracard was only able to get me 150 of those yet.
since we are just at block 17xxx, i think mining is still worth it (please enlighten me if i am wrong), and prices should increase about 100%-300%.
i am not totally in the "bitcoin" thing yet. But from a programmers perspective with some business skills, wouldnt this coin get an increased value if there would be a site where you can use the coin.
E.G. a page where you can pay people for work / art, like 10GOX for a Logo or sth like that. To be honest, this is actually a "not complete specified" project on my list.
If i can help somehow to get this coin running, let me know.

@all pool admins, would it be possible to put a "total goxamount" counter somewhere in the sites. Would be great to know how many are already mined. Maybe (if there is a cap) also a x% from total amount. Just more statistics to look at
