Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin?
by
magnum1010
on 14/11/2021, 04:55:12 UTC
Dogecoin is supported by Elon Musk. For example, Dogecoin will soon receive an update supported by Elon Musk. The new Dogecoin Core 1.14.5 update is already at the finishing stage. This will bring lower fees for all network participants. Elon Musk has repeatedly expressed support for reducing Dogecoin transaction fees, which will help turn Dogecoin into a means of payment. In the future, it may have a positive impact on Doge. So maybe Dogecoin is more reliable because of such big supporters.

Re: My plans for the next bear market
by

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?

Actually, USDT is the most popular stablecoin. Despite all bad news about it, Tether remains the stablecoin with the biggest trading volume. Nevertheless, if we are talking about a big sum of money, you had better diversify your money between different stablecoins. For example, you can take USDC, DAI, BUSD in addition to USDT.

Re: Checking the amount of liquidity in a pool?
by
magnum1010
on 14/11/2021, 04:32:04 UTC
Hey guys!

there are alot of shitcoins which trade on uniswap. (ETH)
Someone needs to provide the liquidity for the pool, how can I check the liquidity of the pool? So the amount of other tokens there.
And if the pool is locked or not?

Thank you in advance!
Uniswap is working in the following way. A liquidity provider choose the pair and lock coins in different proportions and in the price range that he considers to be more reasonable. So as to check how much is liquidity, you are to find the pool where the coins you need is traded. Maybe you want to swap ETH to this coin, but there is no pool ETH/this coin, so there is a chain of transactions such as ETC-USDT-this coin.

Re: Brokers

Hi All
what can you do if a broker closes your trading account?

I woke up this morning to check and my account has been cleaned, can a broker do this without informing you?

Regards
Kevin
I am so sorry about this. Maybe the platform you have traded on was a scam. When you deposit money on your account on an exchange, they don't belong to you any more. From this moment they belong to this exchange that is why it is suggested not to deposit too much. What is more, this exchange can be hacked so it is really dangerous to store your money on an exchange account.

Re: What is the Best Time to sell ?

Everything depends on your strategy. You should make a consistent strategy and then follow it in spite of all emotions.Personally I hold Bitcoin and some other mainstream currencies for a long term and I am not going to sell them at least 5 years more. On the other hand, there are coins in my portfolio that I have for a short term and I will sell them as soon as trend will be broken.

Re: Gaming on blockchain is the longer term

Gaming on blockchain is really popular as there are a lot of people who like playing and it is a great thing for them that they can earn by doing their hobby so gaming on blockchain will be certainly developed and will remain in demand. We can invest in projects that are connected with NFT-gaming so as to benefit from this hype.

Re: How to get rewards in crypto
by
magnum1010
on 13/11/2021, 15:15:20 UTC
Guys, great news, every day there are more and more projects on which we can perform certain actions and receive rewards.

So, I am sharing with you one of them. In CheckDot everyone will be able to receive remuneration for participating in inspections and audits. If I understand correctly, this feature will be available with the release of the product.

If someone knows about some similar ways of earning money - we will share it. Thanks, everyone

I know one more way how to earn on crypto market by doing something for a project. When you participate in ambassadors' programs (bounties), you promote the project by making articles and videos about it and sharing it on your social media and developers give you rewards then, so it is one more way of earning money.

Re: How well-diversified is everyone's cryptocurrency holdings?
by
magnum1010

I try to diversify as it can decrease risks. I have divided my portfolio into two parts. One part I invest in mainstream currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Matic. And about 10-20% I use for different risky altcoins and projects that can increase very rapidly, but may turn out to be scams.
So actually even my conservative part of portfolio is allocated between different leading coins.

Re: Cold wallet question

Actually, yes. You are safe until you remember your seed phrase. Even if you lose your cold wallet, you can recover your tokens. The main thing is to remember a seed phrase. Then you can just buy a new cold wallet and connect it to the same account with this seed phrase. The most important thing is not to share your seed phrase and store is somewhere on paper.

Re: Transaction failure
by
magnum1010
on 12/11/2021, 03:48:00 UTC
I'm having a problem with Metamask, I'm trying to withdraw some tokens from a locker (deeplock.io) but every time I try to do the operation this message is shown below the gas fee row: "transaction error exception thrown in contract code".

What's really strange is that the token works perfectly and this message keeps popping out even when I'm not dealing with this token (for instance, when I try to call some functions on the bscscan's page of a completely different token, it shows me the exact same message),

I'm starting to think that there's something wrong with my Metamask wallet.
There are many cases of fraudulent Metamasks. Scammers have coped Metamask's web-site and its wallet and you will lose money if you use it. If you have been using your metamask not for a long period of time, you had better check if it is initial metamask.
If you have been using it for long and such problems have appeared only recently, you should check if you pay enough as a transaction fee.

Re: Floki Inu vs Shiba Inu
by
magnum1010
on 12/11/2021, 03:41:15 UTC

What do you think of meme coins?
You should understand that both shiba inu and floki inu rise on hype that is raised by Elon Musk's advertisement. I am very careful about meme coins. I don't think that they are really likely to survive long. They don't have neither innovative technologies under them, nor good projects. They don't solve any urgent problems, so I don't see any reasons why they can be popular in the long-term.

Re: What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle?
by
magnum1010

Actually, I also think that cycles will be a bit different now and bear market will not be so deep. But I don't think that it is only due to covid 19. Mass adoption of crypto is very wide and there are many people who came to this market, so I think that when the trend will break, bear market will not be so long like it used to be after 2017.

Re: forex trading vs cripto trading
by
magnum1010
on 11/11/2021, 03:30:00 UTC

Which is the  best  for  day trading in your  opinion in terms  of reliability and profit?  In terms  of  profit  maybe  the  cripto, but in terms of  reliability Forex.  Cripto is   like gambling I suppose, you have to check the trollbox, the news and  hope  to jump into the train  fast  enough to not  be burnt.
Actually, I don't do scalping as I consider this strategy to be senseless. If comparing trading crypto to forex, I would rather choose Crypto as it is more volatile and it means a bigger potential profit. I prefer buying futures with leverages as it can give additional profit. But we have to be up to date all the time if we want to trade crypto.

Re: Trends for altcoins in September

I tend to choose Polkadot.
I am also optimistic about Polkadot. I think that it will be a trend of the end of 2021 and of the beginning of 2022. Parachains are about to start and there are a lot of investors and partners, so this project will have a huge success I think. It will offer innovative technology of connecting different projects and chains providing fast and cheap transaction.

Re: is it still possible to build Dapps platform on Ethereum network
by
magnum1010
on 11/11/2021, 03:20:24 UTC

what do you think is the ethereum network still friendly or has it gotten really bad for new projects?
Mostly all new projects choose Polygon, Binance smart chain, tron, avalanche now because of huge fees on Ethereum. Nevertheless, people who have big capitals still work on this chain as they don't run small transaction there, so fees are not so big for them. Many projects that were initially launched on ethereum, are becoming multi-chain now as small investors switch to cheaper alternatives.

Re: The beginning of the end of traditional payment processors?
by

People start using crypto as they see many obvious advantages of it over fiat money. One of them is freedom. People can freely transfer any amounts of money with low fees (on Polygon, Tron, Binance Smart Chain). I don't think that government will let crypto replace traditional bank system in the nearest future as they can't not to regulate financial sphere of people life.

China has a very rigid political system. Authorities try to control all sphere of people life. That it the reason why they ban crypto. Cryptocurrencies can't be regulated, so they just ban it and want to replace by creating their own digital Yuan that will be completely under the control so there will be no difference between it and just non-cash Yaun on a bank account.

Re: Web 3.0 vs Metaverse

I am looking forward to the world to immerse Metaverse. It will give us an opportunity to feel real emotions just thanks to the internet. Apart from entertainment, I think that it will be much more convenient to work with Web 3 instead of Web 2, as Web 3 is more pictorial. We should catch this wave of hype and invest in tokens that are connected with this sphere (sand, mana).

Re: How you choose projects for investment
by
magnum1010
on 10/11/2021, 03:13:59 UTC
One good strategy I think is to follow hype. What I mean is to invest in projects that are related to spheres that are trendy at the moment. For example, NFTs are popular now  so you should try to find projects similar to those that are popular. On the other hans, it is very important not to comw across a scam as scammers also follow hype and want to trick investors.
