Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip!

https://www.ccn.com/chinese-angel-investor-gathers-10000-bitcoins-during-bear-q1-2018/
There was one Chinese investor who is now trending after he bought 10k bitcoin during the Q1 bear or during the bearish movement at the first quarter of the year. According to the article he was Cai Wensheng the founder of a selfie-app called Meitu which is very popular in China. This man is a good sign that bitcoin really is becoming more attractive to big enterpreneurs across the globe.
It is a good thing for one to actually see an opportunity and makes use of it. While others are hoping for the downfall of cryptocurrency, some are actually making good money from it. If the said investor had not seen any potential in bitcoin, he definitely would not have acquired 10k worth of it

Just make a thought experiment - every time you pay with fiat, set aside a few dollars and see how much it will be at the end of a month. When scaling will be fixed, then we can start talking seriously about widespread adoption, but before that happened Bitcoin has very niche uses - trading, gambling, moving value when you can't or don't want to deal with banks

In talking of security and safe keeping Bitcoin is safe as long as we know how to keep our credentials, accounts details, private keys and personal data to be safe. Our ignorance will not be a reason if we will not ensure the safety of our Bitcoin but in talking of how safe is Bitcoin as investments then i could say there is no guarantee of the safety

Bitcoin is somehow moving slowly as compared to very new altcoins. This is understood because new altcoins are still on the process of creating their starting products. They are still on the process of earning some trust from the crypto community. They cannot simply lag behind their roadmaps, lest their investors will became impatient and eventually leave their project. Bitcoin on the other hand has complied everything

Bitcoin cannot be a legit currency. The facts are obvious. Just as you have highlighted three significant characteristics of a legit currency, I wish to add that such a currency must be issued and backed by a government. But bitcoin as we know today was not created by a country. Also of importance is the concept of bitcoin

This is the hard truth  about bitcoin and it natour which is volatility, despite the hard pill's melted on panic sellers by the starter of this thread. What we should all know and understand about bitcoin is that it is volatile and operate on the economic law of demands and supply which is always influence by those institutions mention above such as government

This is very difficult because Bitcoin and fiat money are very different. Fiat money is stable and stored separately, Bitcoin is unstable and stored by its users

The Chinese government is a very erratic government. At times it does not prohibit Bitcoin, but the next day it issued a moratorium on electronic money. It's hard to talk about the possibility of this happening
