Intro
The Reap Protocol core features enable maximizing yield farming, governance, automated market maker (AMM) swaps and is the first to introduce stablecoin swaps on the Tron Blockchain. Reap Protocol is an autonomous protocol for creating efficient money markets. More assets and market types are set to be supported including but not limited to BTC & ETH.

The Reap Protocol is empowering DeFi on the Tron Network. About the Protocol Token $REAP
The REAP token is a staking rewards token distributed out to users who participate in the protocol. Users will not only earn interest yield on their crypto assets but also profit through REAP Rewards. Reap tokens can be staked on the protocol in order to partake in profit share distribution which receives a portion of generated profits from each asset pool. As the protocol grows, so too will the rewards. This creates a linked incentive for both early and future users. The REAP token will soon be listed and available on exchange so the option to sell the token is also possible. There is no initial supply. That means No pre-mining nor any reserve. All tokens are distributed only to users who partake in the protocol based on assets, amount, and corresponding reward rates. This is handled arithmetically by the contract. There is a limited max supply of 800,000.

Assets in the protocol are accumulated and compounded automatically the moment they are deposited. Unlike other projects, there is no time-lock for withdrawals or initial holding period requirements that make your funds inaccessible. You may withdraw deposited assets at anytime, right from the start. Each asset market has its own corresponding trc20 token given out on deposit that represents the user’s ownership of the underlying asset. This makes it possible for external markets or other dapp developers to utilize these in their own applications.

I'm happy. So far everything is as expected

So Bitclave got listed on bibox.com (can check it out https://www.bibox.com/exchange?coinPair=CAT_ETH) as people already posted. Not what we expected although I did find that it makes for a great buying opportunity but maybe not so much for selling. Lucky .

As we draw near, many are wondering what prices we will see. Here’s my thoughts and predictions of the prices when Bitclave is listed on the exchanges:

Price prediction
Starting price range may be $0.31 — $0.50 where I think some lucky few will perhaps get in for $0.10 — $0.20.

I predict that the bulk of the trading in the first few days will trend up and take place between $0.50 — $0.63 & finally I estimate that the high end at the beginning could taper off between $0.70 — $0.77.

Going forward
Outstanding dev team, a promising collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, actual alpha product on their BASE platform, challenging but disruptive solution.

One issue I do see is transaction speed limitations but that is more a problem involving the whole blockchain ecosystem.

Bitclave is gonna be exciting and one to look out for going into 2018.

As for the future, steady price increase. With the updates, changes and improvements of what’s to come, I place a conservative price point of $1.50 Mid 2018 and around $2.00 — $2.35 EOY 2018. Take this into consideration with a grain of salt. 


Possible aspect of the supply
One interesting found is the total circulation supply. Currently, most of us think it is around 550m (cirrulation supply). As mentioned - “550,842,000 tokens distributed in token sale or 25,547,000 USD hard cap"


Those were just the general terms of the token sale. But if one were to take a look at their contract https://etherscan.io/token/0x68e14bb5a45b9681327e16e528084b9d962c1a39#balances, by the actual numbers we’re looking at possibly less than 400m in circulation (Total Supply minus top holder which is assumed to be bitclave).

In this case, there could be a big increase in what the actual prices are. Knowing my luck, I’ll probably be sleeping when trading starts so I do hope this isn’t the case. If not, then that’s good since nothing has change.

I was taking a look through Rentberry token sale terms and whitepaper. Big red flags (at least to me) appeared  . Asking for wallet private key which I would never give out and would avoid anyone who would ask. I'll be giving this a pass.

Straight out of their token sale terms:

"Contributions to be made in ETH must be sent from an Ethereum wallet in
respect of which you can identify your private key. Your private key shall be
required to verify your ETH contribution to Rentberry and to enable Rentberry to
issue BERRY Tokens to you through the Smart Contract System."

-Similar in regards to bitcoin contributions.

"Risk of Losing Access to BERRY Tokens Due to Loss of Private Key(s).
BERRY Tokens purchased by you may be held in a digital wallet or vault, which requires a private
key or a combination of private keys for access. Accordingly, loss of requisite private key(s)
associated with your digital wallet or vault storing BERRY Tokens will result in loss of such BERRY
Tokens, as well as access to your BERRY Token balance. Moreover, any third party that gains
access to such private key(s), including by gaining access to login credentials of a hosted wallet or
vault service you use, may be able to misappropriate your BERRY Tokens. Rentberry is not

I would advise anyone to use Extreme Caution as we all should know to never trust anyone with our private keys.

You have been warn, but if you really want to participate even after reading this: the least you should do is set up and use a new secondary wallet. Then, deposit into the secondary wallet only the amount that you wish to contribute. Added protection to anyone participating, transfer tokens right away if distributed. Be safe and good luck.

sorry if that post was fud. I'm definitely looking forward to what's in store. i'm just a little sad that in the meantime i could have put myself in a better position. but of course this is hindsight.

Guys my bags are becoming heavy. I'm starting to feel the weak hand syndrome. I initially thought there was a dump but then I thought it was false alarm and all was good. I'm more bummed out that I could be holding onto more Qash or something equivalent.

Now that some doubt has creeped in, tell me something assuring so I can ride this out. I know some people who held even at higher buy prices, what are your thoughts?

Not sure which article you're referring to as random. I'm assuming the latest one in medium about Gerald Beuchelt.

Honestly I never heard of the guy before. But reading the article did shed some light. I use products like LastPass everyday and GotoMeeting occasionally. I don't know what Demandware is, but I sure do know Salesforce.com which is absolutely huge. Knowing that he's CSO means it's not just some random average joe plugged in. I think the point would be giving us insight on their advisory board.

While no news on exchanges, it's only been a few days. Not to say that I don't check everyday myself but once it comes out, it'll be everywhere. I do hope to buy it cheap but only time will tell. For now, we can only wait and be patient.

I feel like these are the two big names in crypto for this space. And given how they both have potential, relatively new, will grow, similarities and differences in the way they execute and plan, and the simple fact that we just don't know yet: doesn't hurt to hold a portion of both.

In any case, I'm hoping they both succeed because if blockchain and crypto is the future, everything needs to adapt and who knows what kind of innovation can come out of this.

Alright I worried for no reason and thankfully sticked to the basics and what i know. Good news, i didn't sell . But the bad news is i didn't catch that dip either which i should have .

Relatively low-key which actually isn't bad. The hype will probably trickle in though. Waiting for Liquid platform, 2018 pipeline, new investors getting verified, high exposure on coinmarketcap, qash adding onto different exchanges, /krw pairing for the koreans, and so much expectations and potential: world book, high liquidity, regulated and licensed, platform for other exchanges to link to, more currency pairings, future go-to global exchange, possible forex of the crypto world, and more that got me to invest in the first place.

Are you guys as excited as I am?

I've done quite well for myself on the few ICOs I participated in. Like all of you, hopefully I get in on some BitClave or at least early when it hits the exchanges since it looks like there's a lot of people interested in it.
