Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again?

Well? Will it?

So far I've a lot of doubt.

yes it really can, to  be honest it can go to 1000$ this year, after halving, because price rises right now and i don't think that it will stop anytime soon so price should rise up to 500$ before halving, and after halving price could rise up to 900$ and then we will need 1 month till we see 1000$ price

Re: End of the 2016 - BTC Price Prediction
by

on 09/04/2016, 19:03:42 UTC
Do you have any idea that what will be the price of BTC at the end of the 2016?

I can't find any scientific prediction on the web...

price at end of 2016 will be more than 700$ but not below that, and that is because of halving, everyone is happy about it except bitcoin miners, but i am sure that price will rise  so they will be happy too, so halving will rise price to 600$ or 700$ and i am pretty sure that that price will stay till end of year

Re: What happens to Chinese mining companies if there is no halving price rise?

Will they go under?  Can they survive on half the amount of income?

answer is no, they can't survive, when block rewards will be halving they will get 2 times less, but fees will still be same, so miners would have to leave their jobs and it would be very bad for bitcoin if new miners wouldn't change old ones, but  i don't think that price won't go up, it should rise to 800$ atleast

The price of BTC is going to continue its stable multi-week run.

stable? not even close, price is rising now, and if price rises then it can't be stable, and to be honest i don't think that it will be stable anytime soon, price of bitcoin will just rise next months too because of halving, and i hope that it won't fall down anytime soon

Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?
by
makingwin1
on 09/04/2016, 18:19:57 UTC
I first got bitcoin from withdrawing from gambling sites.  I deposited with another method but could withdraw bitcoin so i did it.  Around that time bitcoin was around $220 usd or so and when i got it, i would then trade it for poker funds from other person etc because I didn't want to hold the bitcoins due to reading about price fluctuations.  However, isn't the value of bitcoin almost always going to go up so its best to hold it?  I know last year it was $600 and the highest was when it was more than $1000 per bitcoin.  But since it is all the way down to $200-$300, isn't having bitcoin always good?  Could bitcoin go all the way to 0 soon?  I had thought hey if you get bitcoin when its $230 when the price stayed like that for a long time, thats great b/c very hard for it to go below $200 because i haven't seen that.  But even if it does, isn't it almost always going to rebound and go back up?  Last time i had btc and it was $230 or so and now it went up to $260.  So if you have say 100 bitcoins... well... thats a nice $3000 profit or so.

I'm sure there are ppl that have thousands or bitcoins right and just hold on to it?  And many that would sell btc immediately if prices go all the way up?  If someone had say 500 bitcoin... then btc price went up $20 in say a week or so... selling it would net them $10000 minus fees right?  However if they sell it via localbitcoins or other method, they are going to get a higher profit right?  However if they do this, say sold all their 500 btc... then once bitcoin later in the year go up another $50... well that would be $25000 less they would have earned.

In general, isn't holding BTC always a good thing since the price of it is pretty low now?  Obviously if you bought btc at $600 or $1000 and thought it would went up and held on to your btc, that would been a disaster.  But since its in the $200-$300 range, isn't having BTC always good?

it is not a best way, but it's not a worst way too, because it is pretty slow, but if you're lucky to have price rise then you will get lots of profit in days, but if there won't be huge fast price rise then you will have to wait, but like i said, it's not bad way either because it is not so risky as gambling

Hello,

I am inquiring as to what is the fastest way to offload my multiple bitcoins -

I have enough to sell in lots of 10

(mods if this is not the section for this then please move or let me know thankyou)

just find people that would buy them, search for them here on forums or online, i am sure that there are plenty of people that would like to buy bitcoins

or just search for a good exchange site that let you change bitcoins to money, or find a ATM and get your money there, that should help you

What are the requirements to be an escrow on this forum and how can I become one?I am online most of the time and willing to provide best escrow solution.
Please enlighten

first of all, you need to have large positive reputation, or others won't trust you, because would you trust a stranger with 0 reputation?

and second yes, you have to stay away from minds like "should i scam him"?  because you have to earn money from your job not scams, 1 scam and it is over

Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend!
by

on 09/04/2016, 17:59:22 UTC
Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

well with 20k$ to invest you have to be very careful, so avoid gambling sites, loaning sites, ponzi schemes and so on as they're very risky

you can start trading, it is very profitable thing to do,  or you can just buy bitcoins and keep them, slower but profitable too

Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING
by
makingwin1
on 09/04/2016, 17:54:22 UTC
How much money do you make from trading ? Your expect and result, Also never forget to tell your principal

Thank you

I don't know whether it has the same topic like this before or not if yes please post here,

you can't really say how much you earn because numbers can be very different, if you trade more you can earn a lot, if you trade less, you won't get that much money

and my main rule for trading is to buy while cheap and sell when expensive this way you can earn profit, also don't panic if price will fall down

Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled?
by

on 02/04/2016, 17:58:50 UTC
i highly doubt that bitcoin halving will ever be canceled because of a lot of reasons that would cause the delay or the complete cancel of the halving

first of all people would be really sad that their bitcoin price will not grow at all besides that investors would quit from bitcoin so the price would be dumped alot

Re: Best way to manage money?
by

i think the best way to manage your money would be to just put it all into bitcoin and have no other currencies at all

that would surely be a great investment option and you would make a lot of money in the future because the price of the bitcoin will surely grow in the future really fast

Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency
by

on 02/04/2016, 17:53:57 UTC
Bitcoin is not yet the global currency because it's not used by the major part of people worldwide, but i think it can potentially being the first used currency soon

For now, yes you are right. Because there are still many people who don't know about bitcoins. But i think someday when bitcoin become more popular, i'm sure people will use bitcoin for global currency.
yeah the interest of people in bitcoin is growing at an increasingly rapid pace right now i hope that it will not stop

i think bitcoin will grow more and more and never stop, i think thats the only correct way now

on 02/04/2016, 17:50:28 UTC
Safe way to gamble isnt well a strategy made to such thing, you can avoid gambling or try to reduces the potencial loss betting on the right odds instead try the risks one .
there are no safe strategies there are only risky and riskier strategies that will make you lose a lot of money if you gamble

if there were safe strategies then all people would be able to make a lot of money and casinos wouldnt exist at all

Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble?
by

on 02/04/2016, 17:48:59 UTC
Some rich people dont know where to spend the money they have, some use drugs, and others sure will gambling with it,but they will enter into a road without no way out.I wouldnt never gambling something that is mine and is enought to live, and have pleasure meeting several places i wanna.
Yeah they will gamble for fun and just to spend time, as rich people would surely love to visit physical casino to enjoy the fun of gambling physically rather then gambling it online.
i would definitely gamble too even if i had vast amounts of money i wouldnt gamble big money but i would do that

i wouldnt expect to make a lot of money and become even more rich i would just seek to get some good quality entertainment from casino games

Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?
by
makingwin1
on 02/04/2016, 17:47:03 UTC
gambling is very difficult to leave. if we want to really leave the gambling then the most powerful way is "leaving the internet". because now stems from internet gambling.
Leaving the Internet is not a solution, that is just a temporary solution. An addicted gambler will find that it is extremely 'painful' to quit gambling. It is because you do not want to stop. If you have a strong will, it's pretty easy to stop within a few weeks or less. I have a very strong will, and that is why I seldom gamble anymore.

Yes strong will power and following great level of discipline can help you to stay away from gambling or else its very difficult to quit gambling if you are addicted to it.

it is half the battle they have to cut their access to money so they can not gamble with the money at all. this can be done by investing the mney or putting it away in a bank account under your wife's name for example.

If you're that very addicted to gambling then you should now talk to a psychiatrist and ask for help and guidance.
thats the only way if you are really addicted and you cannot do anything about it as you lose all your money you have on gambling

i think its better to just search for other hobbies that would take your thoughts out from gambling and that would give you entertainment

gambling would most probably not do anything just wreck your life completely if you will gamble big money on it what i highly do not recommend doing

i think you should gamble money that you can afford to lose and that wouldnt take a lot of money from you that you need for a living
