Monero is the NO. 1 I would say. Privacy in this field is really important considering that cryptocurrencies were also created to be fully anonymous. Privacy shouldn't be taken irresponsibly.

Re: Any idea for poor people?
by

Well, poor people don't have much money to invest in any risk assets as Bitcoin or alts, not even having Internet alone. I'd say they should find a job first and after a subsequent time of money earning, they can even think about going into something risky.

No one thinks that for real. Everyone just pretends that it is, so they can buy cheaper. Especially big players as banks, institutions and whales. Don't fall for the FUDs.

I like the name. And yeah, obviously, the value behind it. I like the whole mystery behind Satoshi, I like the idea, I like the logo. I don't like the blockchain, I don't like the fees, I don't like so many people saying that it scale to infinity. It can't. There are better alts for that.

Re: ICO or Airdrop?
by

Well, it all depends on the project itself. How much money it requires to build their infrastructure or if they already have an infrastructure, how much funding would they need to sustain it. Basically, if you have money, you choose airdrop, if not then ICO.

Re: How To Start an ICO?
by

1. Write a code: the most easiest would be Solidity for Ethereum or currently there is a huge demand for NEO blockchain or in any case you can write your own blockchain (as funny as it sounds)
2. Gather resources, gather team
3. Write a website, white paper, light paper, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
4. Publish
5. Promotion
6. ICO
Sounds easy, huh?!

Re: Why alts are going down?

Basically the altcoins are mainly following the price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the biggest of coins, the first of coins and the most known of coins.
Crowd's mentality is like this "ok, so I put my money into NEO, I think it's a wonderful project".
(the Bitcoin price turns red)
Crowd thinks "OH MY GOD, the crypto is crashing!!!! What am I gonna do???" ... (sold everything) ... "Fuuh, such a relief, I could have lost a lot more"
(crypto turns green)
"OH MY GOD, the crypto is rising again!!!! What am I gonna do???" ... (FOMO) ... "yeah, this is how it is done"

Nice post. The diversification is the key for profitability. I have also been reinvesting lately into some promising new projects. I think I am gonna take your advice besides making my own due diligence.

Re: ETH v NEO
by

on 18/02/2018, 21:39:42 UTC
Ethereum is much, much better than NEO. Everyone say that "NEO is gonna be the NO.1" or "Ethereum is nothing besides NEO". The only reason that people protect NEO is that it is Chinese. I mean WTF? Ok, it is Chinese, and so what now? I am not saying that NEO is a shitcoin, it is a goin project, with good team with perfect blockchain, but it is nothing compared to Ethereum and Solidity.

Re: NEO, TRON or IOTA?
by
makulo123
on 18/02/2018, 21:33:41 UTC
Basically all of them are fine coins with fine projects with perfect industry top blockchains. IOTA has currently really developed blockchain with many project integrations. NEO is gonna be a new ICO standard blockchain with these NEP5 tokens, but Ethereum is much higher competion. TRON on the hand is only developing its product, but is gonna much better than NEO in my opinion. I would recommend you buying NEO, IOTA in short/medium term and TRON in long term. Good luck!

Re: EU hates Bitcoin
by

Not really. Not the whole EU at least. Maybe some of the countries yes, but it is like any other crypto-regulating crypto in the world. Just don't think that this will have any impact on the project. The most important is the idea behind blockchain.

Probably a different board, but okay.
Nope. I mean yes, but it's like saying that you can totally stop crime, pollution, overpopulation, etc.
Currently the only way to not get scammed is to identify red flags, report it tot the community and hope that people are not that stupid.
