It needs to be visible on the network in order to switch the agents/workers. The miner will keep mining if it disconnects, it just won't switch if it loses connection to the laptop.

OK, thank you. I think I will just keep it the way I am doing it now with full installs on each.

It would cut out the need for a dashboard on each PC. You will just need 1 main PC to control all of them. This will need upgrades. Not sure if you are running free or not.
I purchased it. Will the controlling PC need to be on the same network? For example, if I had the remote agent on all three rigs and the full version on my laptop, would that control it? If it will control it from the laptop will it only work when I am on the home network or also if I am somewhere else with internet connection? Thanks

Quick question... I currently run three mining rigs. Each one has the full install of Awesome Miner running on it. I monitor it all through the cloud site from my laptop. If needed for something I log into the individual rigs using a remote desktop application. Everything works great and I find the software amazing.
What I am wondering is if I am doing this the most efficient way. I see there is a "remote agent" for download as well. How does this remote agent work and would it be somehow better for me to use that? Thanks.

Awesome Miner development version 4.3.3 (preview of 4.4)
- A profit profile can be configured with custom pools to use, independent of the global profit switching pools.
- Improved bulk edit for External Miners to include profit switching settings
- Display MAC address in the Summary tab for the selected miner
- A miner can be converted from between being a Managed Miner and a Managed Profit Miner from the context menu.
- Awesome Miner API method to set coin properties, for setting profitability of custom coins from external applications
- Added three additional highlight colors for the miner list
- Show total wallet balance in column header
- Show profile hash rate for each entry in the Online Services tab
- New Block Explorer for Ethereum Classic balance
- XMRig mining software supported for CPU, AMD and nVidia mining of Cryptonight
- Cast XMR miner can be included in the profit switcher
- Claymore Cryptonight Miner 11.2

Hi, Is it possible to download the development version from a link? One of my rigs does not like to update through the application updater for some reason but manual update has always worked. Thanks.

So now I have setup changing of gpu profiles when changing algos, and it works like a charm! 
However, only when I have 10 cards or less, this seems to be the limit afterburner service? :/. The afterburner software gui actually only lets you control 8, but the afterburner remote server worked like a charm with 10 when controlling from Awesome Miner. When I added 2 more cards it does not work anymore, the 2 last cards is not updated to the profile set for the other 10. Is there any solution for this? I am now using Asus gpu tweak II manually, and can control 12 cards there. Is there a way to remote this one?
My main problem seems to especially the Equihash-miners requires more conservative clockings than for instance Skein or Lyra2v2. (my cards are 1080ti and those algos have been the most common for me so far running on multipoolhub). So if I want the auto changing of algos I need to use conservative clocking for all algos atm..

When was last time you updated Afterburner. The one release about a month ago suposedly fixed the 10GPU limit it was having. At least according to the release notes for the version.

Its official, this app is shit. I've switched the statistics around endlessly to get the "perfect" daily estimate ratio, and it doesnt even get CLOSE to the so said daily estimates I'm suppose to make. Whoever made up these stats when it came to profit switching need to get shot in the face. As per example Skein is suppose to give me $10 for 1080ti on Zpool.. Guess what, IT DOESNT EVEN COME CLOSE!!!
Made less than a dollar in 5 hours, WTF?!?!? What a hunk of shit. Even when mining with coin Specified it still mines whatever the fuck it wants so why even have the option?!

I tried searching this epic thread but came up short so I apologize if this is a common easy fix...
For some reason the temperature of my AMD cards is not showing up in Awesome Miner. It was showing for all my cards when I first started using AM but somehow it has disappeared. The Nvidia temps still show up as the are supposed to.
Is there a setting somewhere I have overlooked?

There can also be instances where Awesome Miner is unable to read the GPU sensors.

BTW, is there a way to display more than one "site" at a time on the cloud web page? I run three rigs currently and it would be easier to view them from one single page scrolling if need be rather than changing the site via drop down menu every time. Again, thanks!

Hello. I recently purchased Awesome Miner license and also the cloud services. I recieved the confirmation emails, succesfully registered the software and all went well. Then, I tried to create the cloud service account and it will not allow me to log in. The website always tells me I have the wrong password. I have tried password recovery but never get an email. I also emailed support, but have not heard back. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I just stuck to wait longer? Thanks.
