Maybe try one of those new ERC-tokens companies like Polymath and Harbor are offering. Will try to find their respective ERC-numbers

While those ones are using tokens issued on the ethereum's blockchain, Swarm for example is using a different approach, its standard, SRC20 tokens, are issued on the Stellar's blockchain

Since everyone can contribute to a github repository maybe if they manage to build a good community they can speed up things with a community driven development

They could get some ideas and feedback for the community but its hard to attract big crowds nowadays and also everyone is a crypto guru suddenly so you have to be careful who is giving you ideas.

Usually code speaks for developers themselves, there's no chit-chat involved when we speak about coders, they usually gain respect with the work they do Wink

As per your website "Official Launch of the centralized exchange with fiat gateway" is planned in Q1 2019. So, it means it will be up within this month right?

Hello, like for the exchange, due to the result of the ICO, developments has been slown down. So the fiat gateway will arrive at the same time as the exchange will. However, we intend to launch the wallet first that will allow us to launch the fiat gateway before the launch of the exchange.

When you going to launch wallet and when exchange? You going to release updated roadmap?

Hello, we are hiring at the moment for the wallet, we have published an article about the tasks that remained to be done and a kind of roadmap acutalisation : https://medium.com/jarvis-edge/%EF%B8%8F-project-update-926cf9d2ccea

Are you looking for a freelancer or for a a long term collaboration? I'm not a coder I'm just asking this out of curiosity!

So, presale is over? Can we have some final numbers?
@pynetx, I don't think that Q1 is feasable since they lost their wallet developer but we will see, for sure it's not the same thing as developing the trading engine (just a stupid example)

max. supply of ether is now 105,061,446.3125 , but according this article , is there going to be a max. supply 'forever'  ?  Roll Eyes

This is starting to get serious, the supply is now close to what Vitalik proposed as "maximum" months back. Hodlers will lose confidence in ETH, if the maximum supply is now decided and coded.

Ethereum dosn't have a maximum cap, and since will transition to PoS it's a certain. However if the PoS reward will be fixed, Ethereum will be deflationary since the supply will go up but the reward will stay the same

Because of the current state of the ICO we preferred to slow down the development to secure the company and adapt to our situation. We also slow down the development of the exchange (that cost 15 to 20k per month to develop. In this process we have lost our wallet/solidity developer and a our technical advisor.
There is still 350 to 700 hours of work on the wallet as we are reversing our roadmap (we wanted to do the Dapp browser and semi-DEX at the end of the year but our current fundings and ICO results will not allow us to launch the centralized exchange in Q1)
Still 700 to 1000 hours of work on the trading app (the trading app allow to trade on many brokers and exchanges through API, as well as to trade Fx and leveraged crypto from our wallet).
Our own exchange UI (which is actually the same UI as the trading app, so

So you going to release updated roadmap? When we can expect fully working exchange in this way?
It seems, that market recovery already and we can see a new bullrun in the enf of March - beginning Q2 , because institutional investors going to come on crypto market... Would be nice to have your exchange in pairs crypto-shares in this summer at last  Roll Eyes

I doubt that you will see a fully working exchange very soon, maybe from some time from now since they lsot their wallet/solidity developer, as I mentioned a post ago

Ooopsss, sorry double post. Will just delete.

Nope, PoS related upgrade will be Serenity as far as I remember, anyone feel free to prove me wrong if I don't recall correctly  Wink . Constatinople was for less blocks' reward and more smart contracts' security

Ouch, losing your wallet/ solidity developer seems a very bad thing to me, skilled and good solidity developers don't grow on trees, there are not many around

Of course they will always copy, Ark has the best tech among all DPoS blockchains (talking about decentralized ones not EOS for example which is just a database lol)

I'm very excited about upcoming hard fork. I hope it will be success later today. Fingers crossed.
Everyone is waiting. I wonder how the market will behave a couple of hours before the plug, it’s not so long and we will find out.
Think the fork has already been priced in for now. What's left is market reaction to the features implemented by the fork. We'll have to wait from some programming god to wow us with what's under the hood and how they likely will change the phase of the game for us to FOMO in again

Anyone know all the upgrades and EIPs that will be implemented with the hard fork? It will be more scalable  (even a little bit since sharding it's not a thing yet) ?

Expect ethereum to be 250 + usd on or before 8th MARCH 2019 Smiley

If this would happen than the whole market cap should be above 230B and BTC have to cross $5k otherwise it is not possible in short term. No doubt ETH will get explode and this range is looking possible in next few weeks.

It's possible even without a BTC move but I don't believe that it will happen, BTC can lose so much dominance because every alt will pump if ETH will make such move

Market Making...... Market Makers.... These are terms that have been butchered by so many inexperienced or scammy exchange owners that the terms themselves bring a negative connotation with them now.

When you say you are working with MMs, do you mean real MMs? Because they will run you a bill of a minimum of 10 BTC per month.

Then you have scammy MM services like the one they peddle at Exrates exchange which will cost you 0.25 BTC per month.

The difference is, the 10 BTC per month service uses most of that BTC in maintaining your books and keeping spreads super small. This creates a healthy trading environment and attracts bots and traders.

The cheap scammy MM service is without a doubt just fake volume along terrible spreads on the books. In these, the buy orders will be significantly lower than the sell orders so as to not lead real traders to think they can come in a make a quick sell.

The reason I ask you this is because I don't think it is in your budget to have a real MMs employed. You couldn't even afford a highly discounted press release..... lol.
Let's hope things have changed because the last thing we need is another exchange promising the world during their ICO and then delivering just another featureless, vulnerable exchange that realized the regulatory red tape they thought they could cut right through turned out to be impossible at this point in time.

Please tell me you don't fall into that category. Achem-LAToken-achooo.

Good insight, I didn't know that market makers are expensive like this, I know that there are many scammers around.
So by reading your last sentence seems that you had a bad experience with LAToken ?

A new type of smart contracts' language will go on the test net very soon, anyone have a complete roadmap regarding waves' smart contracts ?

Hello, thank you for your question. Some piece of information related to your request can be found here https://blog.wavesplatform.com/waves-dapps-roadmap-for-2019-dc481445439c and in Smart Contracts White Paper https://wavesplatform.com/files/docs/white_paper_waves_smart_contracts.pdf?cache=b as well as in official Waves documents here https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/smart-contracts/waves-contracts-language-description.html.

Best wishes,
Waves Community manager.

Nobody wants smart contracts.
You waste your time with them.

What are you talking about? How do you think that machine to machine communication will happen in the future ? For the internet of things they will be very important

There's a lot to think on. But the simple truth is there's much more research to be done. I understand that the word "scam" gets thrown around as easily as any other four-lettered words and emotions can lead to using the most damaging word to try and hit back, but there's no denying the fact that the industry is littered with way too many abandoned development - some due to naivety on the part of the dev, others due to cashgrab agendas. Going to have to walk down this dev's history and try and figure out why. I also understand that certain projects may have grown bigger than the original dev like ETH - there could be a whole team of devs behind the devs...

For example Lisk...they are even doing something or they're copying what Ark's devs are doing ? One example? Lisk Commander, lol even the same name

something wrong with Waves?
Markets it strong rising but Waves is sleeping.............
bitcoin price is 4000 plus dollars and waves is 2 plus dollars, the rise in btc will also cause a rise in the waves price in usd, i think after the AMA, waves will start to rise, but for let push btc.

I think Waves is growing more faster than BTC let check the last 3 month charts than it seems this is nice investment but in future we will see where it will stand. At the moment it have good hype and can get more value.

Well if we talk about prices, waves is now being under accumulation, the price isn't moving that much (versus btc, in usd yes since btc is growing)

Many projects have failed and were abandoned because of a lack of a B plan, it really makes me more hopeful, but with the recent market reaction, I think it's possible that these 60k multiply by a more pleasant sum

They fail because they only plan to go ahead if a certain amount of financial goal is reached whereas Jarvis was going to happen even if they made 0 from their ICO.

Its all about commitment. If they are starting a project just for money sake, then they will quit as soon as they see a bump in front, but they are really committed and believe their project will change how exchanges works, then they have a great future in front of them.

Many projects  just made a shiny marketing and whitepapers just to grab money during ICOs, then they sold all their ETH at the bottom because of no products after at least one year

Kinda lost track of the roadmap? When can we expect Jarvis to open its doors again?

Hello,

initially we were supposed to launch in q1, but due to the fund raising results we were forced to reduce our burnrate and slow down the development to align with our finances. We keep working hard on it to do not impact to much the roadmap, but many things will need to be changed. However, if the roadmap changes it does not mean to delay everything but to reverse priorities and to start launching other components first. As example we wanted to launch our decentralized exchange and dapp browser by the end of the year, we will maybe start with that and finish with the centralized exchange.

So it's easier to launch a decentralised exchange rather then a centralized one? Order books will be decentralized? I prefer a centralized solution or it will be slow like forkdelta

yes, the true boost of vr will come when there will be some really high-performance apps that will quickly turn the vr on smartphones that almost everyone owns i think at the moment only a few of us want to invest on vr gear

High performace, low prices and at least a couple of killer apps, it makes all the difference in the world, like smartphones, they have a camera and apps to share photos...
