As per the coingecko around 12:30 am EST 06/07 there is a sudden spike in the Litecoin value and it was about $2760.3433. The value stayed for almost 10mins and then again came back to $30 range. Any idea why that happened ? I tried to find some information onl9 but it's not mentioned anywhere. Am I the only one to notice ?

I am not sure about polo or birrex but Kraken requires your photo along with a signed document about your intention to trade in Alternte Coins. I will suggest Coinbase as an exchange which doesn't go through all this and you can simply buy Bitcoin/Litecoin only using your credit card. But please note that these are the only two alternate currencies you can buy and also they charge significant amount of cut.

I have heard that BTCXIndia is closing down since one of it's banking partner has removed there support. So I am a bit skeptical about using that. Also is it possible to transfer LTC/XRP in any available wallet in India based exchange ?

I have invested in some alternate coins (like Litecoins/Ripple) through some international exchanges and would like to know what is the prospect of trading those in India. I have checked that in all the  major exchanges in India they deal only in BTC and not in anything else. So can somebody help me to get any info whether any reliable exchange is available in India where i can transfer my LTC/XRP and sell them to make money in INR ?
if there is nothing like that then can I sell my LTC/XRP in BTC in any international exchanges and send that to India so that I can trade that ? Will I be violating any rule here ?

Can somebody send his BTC accumulated in a foreign exchange (like Kraken/BitInstant) and transfer them to an India based exchange so that they can sell them in India and transfer the resultant amount to an Indian bank ?
Will that result into rule violation ?
