Hi,
So Ive invested a bit of money into altcoins about a year ago, and did a bit of trading but then slowly lost the track of it... Until today, where I found my ledger in my closet and decided to give it another look.
So here I am now looking at my coins , and thinking on what to do... Hold on? Sell?...

Im down about 60% of my investment.
Any advice is appreciated!

I think there is no point on selling at current level because you have already lost 60% of your investment and selling then buy again some new coins will be same as hold the same coins. New things come with the time and has updated and modified version and make there place in market so it is possible that alt will become important in future but my personal opinion is that Bitcoin know as the father of crypto coins and all are directly evaluate with Bitcoin and Bitcoin is also updating along with time and it has it own importance so it will be very difficult for any alt coins to become like Bitcoin.

Now we are very close to end of the year and the price are going down again so it seems very difficult to cross $12k till December end, but the crypto market is very volatile and any thing can happen any time like last year it has touched all time high in very short duration.
I still don't get the main reason why people picks on the bounty hunter that they dump their coin whenever they received them.
My question is why do you have to complain on me selling or holding, do you have to decide what a worker should do with his or her earned money as if you both share same bills.
And if possible that their are a lot of dumper which partake in a particular bounty maybe just 60% of them in a 1% share of the total supply, so someone should explain affect the market price.
You guys just have to let we hunters be and sell at our convenient time.
Bounty hunters are not the main reason behind the dump of the coins because they are very small in amount hardly 2 to 5 % of the total token. Does anyone else regret that hasn't invested in certain Altcoins that now rose 400-800%? Because I regret it a lot. :|
After you have done something and regret for that will bring you nothing but depression. So forget about what you have done wrong and learn from that and go ahead because future is full of opportunities.BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST: In this bear market,I have learnt that the worst could happen,so we should always prepare for the worst.Many have lost up to 80% of their portfolio to this bear market because they are not expecting the worst to happen,unfortunately,they are caught up in it.If they had prepare for the worst,they could have done something about their portfolio at the beginning of the bear market.

At current condition it's not good to invest in any coins according to me because the market is going down day by day so it's better to wait for the stable condition or when the market shows uptrend.
Every time is good for the entry in the new things and technology because if you will think you are late and do not enter then maybe it will be your biggest mistake. So make sure to enter in the project which you like rather then regrets later
Yes mostly I prefer top 100 coins but not always, sometimes I go for others coins also. Top 50 or 100 is somewhat safe but if you want some good return and able to take risk you can go for other coins also.

I agreed with you, sometimes people invest there all money in crypto and after some loss they make loan and invest to recover and make more losses, investment here is totally risky and at this type of investment where chances are there to lose we should never invest our money which we can not afford to loose.The first reminder that you should do before investing is only invest what you afford to lose.

"Red is not always bad" sometimes it gives us opportunity to re-enter in the market and take advantage of deep. So corrections are for good only and we should take its as an opportunity.
Ico is profitable when the market is in growing trends so for some times I stopped investment in ico and waiting for the rally in the crypto market so that the chances of making profit from ico will increase.
It's true that crypto movement is not as expected this year but still 1 and half months is left and we should remember last year growth which touched all time high in rally of just one month.

There are many sources where you can get usefull news and knowledge about crypto. Bitcoin talk is the best one and besides from them YouTube channels, telegram channels, and some good news sites are available and you can search for many more.
