Introducing initial DApps in EtherCore ecosystem

EtherCore officially starts to construct its DApp ecosystem with the testnet launch. As the testnet published, SwapUS, 168exchange, and Lotterybox joined the EtherCore network. SwapUS and 168exchanges are DEX-related and Lotterybox is a gambling-related DApps.

SwapUS

SwapUS project (https://swapus.io), decentralized exchange, is officially joined the EtherCore DApp ecosystem. SwapUS will play a role in invigorating the exchanges and converting coins in EtherCore mainnet as a DEX DApp. The main features of SwapUS are as below:

- Enables the simple coin swap without going under the complicated procedures of existing exchanges

- 0.3% of swap fee

- No transfer fee for the coins which completed the swap

- Mint/Generate stable coin, SUSD

168exchange

168exchange (https://168exchange.io), is a P2P decentralized exchange that participates in the EtherCore DApp ecosystem as another DEX. 168exchange will mainly charge of liquidating the market of EtherCore and its DApps. The main features of 168 exchanges are as below:

- 168exchange never possess users’ assets

- Fast transaction speed (sidechain)

- High-level security

- Low fee

Lotterybox

Lotterybox (https://lotterybox.io), is a gambling DApp which is similar to the lottery system. Users can participate in the game without any action of generating accounts or deposits but just bet on the numbers. It will be one of the major user attractions as an entertainment DApp in the ecosystem. The main systems are as below:

- No house edge, No account, No deposit

- Can bet among the number of 0 to 9

- Can check a result transparently with the contract

- The prize will be transferred to the contract address automatically

- No fee

- Don’t use the oracle or external contract

- Don’t store the personal information or IP address

- Bet is available at the minimum of 0.0001 ERE

SwapUS, 168exchange, and Lotterybox participate in the EtherCore ecosystem to be selected for the EtherCore incubation program, which offers tremendous rewards and beneficial services. The development is actively on the march on the EtherCore testnet to be fully bloomed. EtherCore’s footsteps toward the bright DApp industry just started. They will strive to become the most active DApp as the first participant and walk over the next door fueled by a firm ecosystem of EtherCore.

hm discord link dont work?
Hello, sorry for the unreliability, but the discord server was unofficial.

Regarding the error in the miner - apparently you do not have enough system component to start mining, read the instructions.

Where do i find the instructions?
A ryzen 3600 + 32GB DDR4 is not enough?
Remember, an RX580 8GB is an AMD device.. All ur ''instructions'' are based on cuda (nvidia)..

so i used the opencl/amd miner, but its not working. Instructions i can not find except that few lines on the github page.
I will try to deal with this problem. You can use an unofficial miner from TT

Also that ttminer link is death.

Also for the nvidia miner u see 2 additional files, in the amd opencl miner only the .exe is there.
Link restored, try again

How to run EtherCore Node

0. Recommended hardware spec for running ethercore node

For PoW Mainnet: AWS for example, m5a.4xlarge is a recommended instance size (Over 8 CPU cores 16 threads 64 gigabyte of RAM) + More than 500GB of SSD free space.

For PoA Sidechain: AWS for example, m5a.16xlarge is a recommended instance size (Over 32 CPU cores 64 threads 256 gigabyte of RAM) + More than 4TB of NVME SSD free space.

OS: Ubuntu or CentOS is the best choice

1. Enter Github - https://github.com/ethercoreorg/go-ethercore

2. Click release

3. Download Geth binary that fits with your operating system

For Windows, select https://github.com/ethercoreorg/go-ethercore/releases/download/v1.9.9/ethercore-geth-win64-v1.9.9.zip

For Ubuntu or CentOS: Download ethercore-geth-win64-v1.9.9.zip ( wget https://github.com/ethercoreorg/go-ethercore/releases/download/v1.9.9/ethercore-geth-linux-v1.9.9.tar.gz && tar -xvzf ethercore-geth-linux-v1.9.9.tar.gz && sudo mv build/bin/geth /usr/local/bin/geth )

Example)

If you have installed the Ethereum Foundation version of Geth already

sudo mv build/bin/geth /usr/local/bin/geth-ethercore

4. Start Geth-EtherCore node

Linux: Start with geth –nousb -rpc command and wait for the full sync of blockchain node, if synced you may be able to interact with EtherCore mainnet.

( If the Ethereum Foundation’s Geth is running background make sure the port doesn’t conflict with them, change the port via adding –port=30503 –rpcport=8745 option )

About project
EtherCore is a multi-chain decentralized application and smart contracts platform that hosts various applications that can be used in real world. EtherCore offers highly distributed, fault tolerance and mission-critical network foundation for your blockchain business. EtherCore consists of ProgPoW, a Programmatic Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm, and Proof-of-Authority to solve the trilemma issue for a public blockchain platform. Using a secure, stable, and scalable consensus rules, users and developers can enjoy the decentralized internet without any limitations of network capacity. EtherCore mainnet can scale from thousands to millions of transactions per second.

Features

EtherCore is Secure

Mainnet consensus algorithm of EtherCore is powered by ProgPoW, a Programmatic Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm which is considered as the most ASIC resistant GPU friendly algorithm. Strong decentralization powered by the grassroots of GPU miners is what makes EtherCore secure and irreversible platform.

EtherCore is Fast

EtherCore is a fast blockchain platform, mainnet will remain 14 second transaction confirmation time and sidechain will be able to provide 1 second average confirmation time which could be considered as a real-time blockchain solution. Dynamic block capacity for both mainnet and sidechain is possible which provides enough network capacity to DApp developers and users on demand. EtherCore use faster storage solutions for storing data real time, sidechain will be able to play a role as a cache for mainnet since it could process more than 1000 times bigger capacity than the original Ethereum blockchain.

EtherCore is Stable

EtherCore is designed to be resistant for any kind of third party interference, especially for combating 51% attack or denial of service transaction deployment to occupy the network or exploit any DApp transactions illegally. Any commitment to mainnet will be secured eternally by the assist of ProgPoW algorithm, and the sidechain will be able to handle any updates needed for specific kind of decentralized applications from network capacity to real time contract update.
