Hi team,

can you have a look/add T-Rex miner, please?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4432704.0

It is mining really faster on 1080Ti (latest drivers 398.x), on all Supported algorithms (on some a WAY FASTER Smiley:

lyra2z
phi2
hsr
c11
x17
phi
tribus

(for now?)

Yeah I am getting over 4.3 mh/s , with cryptodredge about 3.6
I've implemented support for T-Rex today, so it will be included in the next release. I might be able to provide a new development release tomorrow already. Once available, please give it a try. Thanks!

Thank you Patrike, great work!

Hello, I updated awesome miner and now my scripts are broken again. The rules now just crashes awesomeminer when run now, this is after I added a 5 seconds wait in my rules to start, update templlate and then start a miner. If I remove the wait I get back to the template is applied but then miner is not started. Sad

Any fix for this? Is it possible to download older version of Awesome miner?

I have to kill awesome miner in task manager. It seems I cant run any rule.

I found that the log file was over 100mb, I deleted that and now everything is working again Smiley. I guess I am doing something wrong.

Hello I updated yesterday to latest version and now I have a slight problem. Did something change around "rules" and templates or is there a new bug? I have made some rules that I run via the web api. However now the miners are not started. The template is applied correctly, but the miner is not started so it stay in "stopped" mode.

Hi and thanks for your question. I wasn't able to reproduce this issue. I've tested by sending an HTTP post to:
http://localhost:17790/api/miners/13?action=rule&rule_id=4

Can you see if you get a "200 OK" as result from this HTTP request? Can you also check if Awesome Miner processes this request by looking for "Executing command from web" in the log file (Toolbar: Tools -> Log File)? Many thanks!

It is the same error if I use the "actions" dropdown in awesome miner too, without using any web script.

Hey guys I have been following this thread and had good profits because of it! Smiley. I see that cropcoin ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2863802.320 ) is getting listet on crypto-bridge now, might be a "speculative" mining option.

Is there a way to set a threshold for profit mining? Lets say if there is no auto-switching-profit that gives me over 8 usd with my 1080ti cards per day, then I want them all to mine some specific coin/algo that I believe in?

Hello, is there a way to add PHI algo? Espicially the Lux coin? Could it be added in next version?

http://www.awesomeminer.com/help.aspx (Yes...be surprised Awesome Miner's official site has a comprehensive Help / FAQ page)

Contains everything you need to know about how to add custom algo/coins/pools/softwares to get LUX mining going

Hi thanks for your help! Smiley I actually have tried to add it, but I have some problems getting it to work properly, I cant get it to show current profitability, and therefor it is not usable in an profit miner for me. I have setup it up to manually target Luxcoin at the moment, but I would like it to be in a profit miner.

I guess I should have made it more like an request than a question, I do have paid for this software and would expect coins and algoes to be updated. I am still learning though, so I might be doing something very wrong, could anybody give a step to step guide for how to add phi and Lux coin if it is so easy? I am trying to use the help page, and I do not succeed.

So now I have setup changing of gpu profiles when changing algos, and it works like a charm! Smiley However, only when I have 10 cards or less, this seems to be the limit afterburner service? :/. The afterburner software gui actually only lets you control 8, but the afterburner remote server worked like a charm with 10 when controlling from Awesome Miner. When I added 2 more cards it does not work anymore, the 2 last cards is not updated to the profile set for the other 10. Is there any solution for this? I am now using Asus gpu tweak II manually, and can control 12 cards there. Is there a way to remote this one?

My main problem seems to especially the Equihash-miners requires more conservative clockings than for instance Skein or Lyra2v2. (my cards are 1080ti and those algos have been the most common for me so far running on multipoolhub). So if I want the auto changing of algos I need to use conservative clocking for all algos atm..

Hello I have been using Awesome miner for some weeks now and really like it! Smiley However, I have stumbled into a small problem, I find that the newest version of excavator is not supported by the managed software called "Excavator (BETA) 1.1.4a (nVidia GPU). The command arguments have probably changed. Therefore I can not run it as a profit switcher miner? This miner seems to be really good at a few algos now, I understand they have some kind of eula so you cannot redistribute it, but you could still update its API? Or would it be possible to add so one can add any miner and make it a profite miner?

Re: 1080ti Card for Mining - which model is best?
by

I have one of the Asus turbo, and do not recommend it if noise can be a problem. I have my rigs in the house I live in an that card alone makes more noise than all the other 1080ti cards I have due to the one blower solution. Currently I am running it at 50TDP just to make it silent. My other 1080TIs are: Aourus, Zotacs and FTW3. The Aurous is my slight favourite of those, they go cool and silent. My Zotacs are the best hashers and the FTW3 is somewhere between them, all of them are great cards though. I am getting a new 1080ti rig with Inno3D iChill x3 ultra now.

Cliff notes: For air cooling my personal recommendation is any 1080ti with 3 fans.
