how did you get it to work?
I tried a lot including deleting the files/folders etc. but it didn't help
it just keeps showing me "synchronizing" but nothing happens...
would appriciate a little help.

Okay, next is to delete that file again, anyway, as well as p2pstate.bin in the directory up from it (ie - edollar).

And not to state the obvious, but Windows firewall must have been explicitly told that the daemon can communicate with both private and public networks. If you can't remember manually checking the box for public networks then the easiest solution is to rename the folder that edollard.exe is in and the next time you run it as administrator Windows firewall, in its infinite stupidity, will ask you about letting it communicate with public and private networks again.

For wallet sync problems the solution of last (first?) resort is to delete the data.mdb file which is (usually) located in c:\programdata\edollar\lmdb

Note that c:\programdata is hidden by default in Windows; unhide it by selecting the "View" tab of any folder and check the box for hidden items (also recommended: checking the box for file name extensions).

If our daemon is not starting then it could be a result of a very bad thing(i.e. your db might have been corrupted but that's just one reason....) when you start your daemon from settings in gui wallet. click on show daemon log/status then screenshot it and send that screenshot to me or post here

The daemon is not fully syc although the status is 100%. The block height is 53890 now (not 681 as my)see at picture.
Unfortunately, I do not know why this is so firewall is out only the defender on it and is off

First, install GUI-Wallet, then tap "Restore". Enter your wallet name, paste secret seed in the field below. Then tap -> (blue color). If you did all right then you have to create personal password and confirm it. That's all. Now just wait till wallet be synced and after then you can use it with all beta features.

You can mine with cli like you do it usual ) standart procedure: sync, use rpcport, allowip, pwd, gen=1 etc. If you want transfer EDL from cli to GUI just restore your wallet via seed or key file. As I said Do all that things like you did it early for solo mining )
