We are currently working to integrate the Identity Wallet to cryptocurrency exchange platforms that will be listed in the Marketplace. This will allow SelfKey users to submit their SelfKey ID to instantly sign up for a verified exchange account without needing to upload their ID data and documents again, while allowing exchanges to conduct KYC on these account applications and be compliant with the highest AML&CTF standards.

Currently, Exchanges are facing regulator pressure to implement the proper processes in order to be compliant with KYC & AML/CTF regulations, facing the risk of fines or even being shut down if they do not do so. At the same time, they are inundated with new customer signup requests. Some exchanges have at times, stopped taking new accounts altogether. SelfKey provides a solution for exchanges to efficiently solve both problems.

SelfKey will provide identity and compliance services to Invox Finance
We are pleased to share that we are enabling a KYC on-boarding platform for another strong team, Invox Finance.

Invox Finance is a blockchain-based peer-to-peer invoice lending platform that brings decentralisation to the invoice financing industry and allows quick and effective connection among invoice buyers, sellers, and financiers sellers on the blockchain.

We will deploy a customized web app to conduct KYC to participants of their Token Sale, and provide identity and compliance services for sellers, buyers and investors that participate in their invoice lending platform.

As most of you already know, we have already enabled KYC platforms for successful fundraising events such as the decentralized exchange Airswap, which managed to raise more than USD 36M, the luxury goods and services decentralized marketplace Aditus, which raised USD 7M, the gaming platform HoToKen, which has already raised USD 20M, and Gatcoin, a retail reward platform that sold USD 14M worth of their native tokens, among others.

As the latest news confirm, cryptocurrencies and token sales are increasingly under regulatory scrutiny, and most of these projects are aware of the importance of carrying out KYC with the highest standards to avoid onboarding bad actors and the future legal drawbacks that may entail, which represents a great opportunity for our project.

SelfKey partners with Kyber Network to provide ETH-based tokens exchange within the SelfKey Wallet

We are excited to share that we are working with Kyber Network to integrate the Kyber Exchange platform into the SelfKey Wallet.

This integration will lead SelfKey Identity Wallet users to be able to trade a broad range of ERC20 tokens from within the wallet application. Users will be able to purchase and sell KEY and KNC, among many others.

Last Sunday, Kyber Network successfully launched its decentralized exchange platform in the Ethereum Mainnet. A trustless exchange which do not hold users’ funds and provides high liquidity through their token reserve.

1. one of the advantages of selfkey is that we remove the middle man, as you directly deal with the local authorized agents. In immigration and citizenship by investment services, this could make a huge difference on the cost.

2. Notaries sign with a public key. Notaries that will participate in the network, will be those of that states and countries where eNotary and remote notarization is allowed, their digital seals are government authorized. For instance Virginia (US). All service providers of our marketplace will accept eNotarizations.

Hi, ID documents and information is never stored in a server, nor in the blockchain. ID remains locally stored in your device.

This makes identity theft unlikely, as there is no database to hack. The only way to steal your identity could be hacking your personal device, but this is an existing risk, whether you use or not SelfKey.


Adding to my previous comment: ID is shared through a hash on the blockchain. This means that your ID is never stored in the blockchain.


SelfKey is a platform that connects users, certifiers and service providers.

Example:

User: you

Certifiers: e.g. notary

Service Provider: e.g. Bank, a crypto exchange, a token sale, corporate secretary, immigration agent..etc

You will have your documents notarized through eNotary services (fully electronic and online)

Then you will share your document notarized with a service provider to access a product or service. Some services such as a coin exchange or a token sale could not require a notarized document. In this case you could directly apply without notarization.

There is no government interaction here.

We have already partnerships in place to run the platform so we can guarantee its usability.

At some point, could be good having governments as verifiers, but this is NOT indispensable. Platform can run without them.

Our desktop wallet will be ready on January, with this wallet you will be able to access ID documents and store ETH, KEY and any ERC-20 Token. This means that you could send KYC+Payment to Token Sales with just one click.

The web wallet is already in use/has been used by Token sales such as Gatcoin, Airswap and many others.
