I think Japan is a the paradise for crypto traders and exchangers. Another country that i always see on the radar when it comes to cryptos is Russia.
Russia is not much crypto friendly country. Most people are preferring offshore countries now.

The problem is that you can't pay for many items in crypto yet. If not, then for sure. I'd love to get paid in LTC or ETH!
Yes the problem is, there are only few coins which are being accepted widely.

There are no absolute good places. I found that some projects were registered in some remote countries, so as to achieve tax avoidance and strict review.

Many problems to adopt altcoin as a means of payment of salary or wages. Actually it could be altcoin used for payment of wages or salaries, but it can happen if the government legalize it. In addition, the salary recipient is also not necessarily ready with the rising risk of price turunya. For example today they receive a salary, then the next day the altcoin price goes down.
Yes price fluctuation is main factor in adoption.

Various coins are used more than trading basically a coin is not entirely based upon trading purposes only, it also have some physical advantage make it useful in our life. For example, myetherwallet acts a source for storing new coins which are yet to be registered on any exchange, and it use ETH for their transfer which makes ETH circulation and useful coin. Similarly every coin has their particular audience which helps coin to grow and trading at the end makes coin more popular.
Yes trading is secondary purpose. Main purpose is to be accepted for payments etc.
If we generalize it in real life example, basic purpose of paper money is buying good and services. Some people are also exchanging it like USD to EURO. But this is secondary purpose.

Re: Is Russia is on the way to adopt cryptocurrencies?
by

A bitcoin exchange bureau has been opened in the Russian capital. According to local media reports, this is the only exchange office in Moscow that buys and sells cryptos for cash. Lawyers say nothing in the law forbids this type of service, and the business is legal.

The Russian authorities have not yet regulated cryptocurrencies, but the Russians are already adopting them. A new bitcoin change has been opened recently, not far from one of Moscow's main railway stations, Kursky Vokzal. According to media reports, the office is the first of its kind in the Russian capital.

LOL. I have been telling since 2017 that Russia will not be a friendly crypto country. They have been totally contradicting themselves in more than 6 months now that you have to take everything coming out from them with a bag of salt. Whatever lawyers or some hotshot crypto investors says, its really up to the top, Putin to decide what is good for his government. We all know how disruptive this technology is, do you think the Putin will just yield to something that has the potential to change the financial landscape of Russia? I don't think so, another reason that I'm leaning towards is that its uncontrollable, again I doubt that Putin will just allow it to flourish in his country without him having a full grasp on it.
You are right. Russia is not a crypto friendly country. But I saw many news that crypto activities are increase day by day in Russia. This news is also surprised me.

For now 90% of bitcoin must be exchanged to fiat currency in order to finally use it to pay for goods and services. The banning is very effective at the point of exchanging it to fiat currency.
Yes it is wise decision when your country ban the crypto activities.

Many Countries have put restriction and banning crypto currencies. In this situation which country you think is supporting crypto currency activities? where Exchangers and traders have favorable environment.
I don't know who is better, but one of them is Belarus I believe. As far as I know, they are very loyal to the cryptocurrencies. Miners are exempt from taxes until 2023, if I am not mistaken. A wise decision by the government  to attract more investment in their country.
Yes, Belarus is one of best option because they have regulated and Crypto activities are Now Legal in Belarus.

As I conclude from replies, few coins are accepted widely. Other coins need more time and work to create acceptance. Currently most of coins are using in their own framework.

Then it is better to go with International exchangers rather than locally operated exchanger. Local exchangers may share your KYC with authorities when ever they require.
