Hey, What would you include in a portfolio worth $500 to hold for 5years for max returns ofc.
I would also suggest DDF for diversification and good return.

The real question is... what on earth would a new project do with 231 million? There is no way on earth that it could be spent sensibly on development of a startup.
People didnt learn anythign from the dotcom bubble it seems. Large funding IS NOT a recipe for success - more like a burden!
Hello guys I wanted to ask you guys if there are some extremely cheap coins at ~0-50 sat, that have the potential to come out big in ~5 years. I am pretty new to this and there are so many coins I can't even get an overall view about them. Till now I know RDD and XVG.
For a big return my bet is on ICOs... and i put my money in ICOs that have coins with dividends. To me this is a good strategy because then i can profit from growth, and still re-invest dividends. Right now I put money in the DDF ico.

TECHNICALLY it's a five minute job... you copy and paste an existing smart contract, and poooof, you have your own token!

For me it's 60% BTC and ETH, 40% altcoins... of course allocation changes depending on performance.

Jaxx or token.im (imtoken). I've used imtoken to buy into DDF today and it works like a charm.

There is really no rule. Most uneven numbers are a result of ICOs destroying tokens that are not sold in an ICO though.

DDF started today, I looked at it and is solid. Also has a positive ICO Alert review.
Anyone remember Auroracoin? That might teach you something about the "value" of airdrops
Tell us that story!
Well AuroraCoin was distributed for free to all citizen of Iceland...then dropped in value like a stone because nobody used it - and those who did, tried to sell it
Im looking to invest in a few upcoming ICO's that have good project and devs.
any recommendations so i can do my own research about them?
I think you can try to invest on Digital Developers Fund they have: Vision DDF is a fund to invest in digital assets, designed to reduce risks and profit from extraordinary growth in the space.
Digital Assets Domain names and crypto currencies have high barriers to entry and risks due to lack of regulations, technical hurdles and lack of investment instruments.
Proven Model, Team DDF was established in 2010 as Domain Developers Fund and has a solid track record in domain investing. To expand, we are adding crypto currencies and other digital assets to our portfolio.
If you don't want to do all the work on finding trading opportunities or mining why not invest in a fund that does the work for you? For example iconomi or taas or there is DDF with an ICO coming up on Monday.
DDF looks promising, Im dropping some ether there monday.

The community is probably the BEST in crypto, much wow.
Unfortunately looks like the dev team is not really working on it, so it's not enhancing... that plus the tipbot fiasco.
I have big hopes it will be revived and be the main currency for friendly tipping.

ETC is really founded on propaganda rather than technological innovation. It's propped up financially by people who want to undermine Ethereum.
Here upcoming ICO based on ethereum. Digital Developers Funds Initial Coin Offering (ICO) Starts Monday, July 10th
This one actually looks solid. At least no crazy mambo jumbo magic technology and they have been around since 2010. To be honest with most ICO's im scared the team behind will take the money and run!

Not all money is locked up... for example Polybius announced they will invest in other projects. Or DDF that srtats Monday is investing in other crypto, ICOs, etc...
A lot of the money is going around, so in general that's good for the ecosystem.
