SaveCoin's Market Cap

SaveCoin's Market Cap was briefly set today at approximately $867,000 on coinmarketcap.com. Anyone see it?

This was because they included the 20 million pre-mined coins into the available supply. Later in the day, they decided to remove the pre-mine and make the available coin supply 89,689 making our Market Cap  $5,290. This is a big difference and exposes the confusion over our coin supply.

So what is our correct available coin supply since Proof of Funds is a new concept to many?

1. 89,689 which corresponds to 1 new coin per block  = Market Cap of $5,290

2. 20,089,689 which is number 1 plus the 20 million pre-mine = Market Cap of $1,185,000.92

3. 89,689 + interest paid to date + 1 million pre-mine (since the unpaid interest is not technically available coin supply) = Market Cap of $67,349.83

I think our market cap should be accurate for future investors. I also think option #3 is the most accurate.

Anyone concur?

Is the premine usually included in others coins marketcap ?

It was for Auroracoin, it overtook litecoin in value within a day or two of launching. (I actually made some money from auroracoin, it was what got me into coins in the first place)

Here's their reply.

Coin Warz 3:18 PM (0 minutes ago)
to me

We have re-activated SaveCoin for voting and invalidated the votes that violated the voting terms.

In regards to the invalid vote, all we can disclose is that there were well over a thousand votes that were obviously not made by a real human user.

Thanks!

CoinWarz

We're back to #3. But we are BACK, so keep voting.

Whoever was doing it most likely had the coins best interests at heart, but that doesn't help us at this point.
I suggest we all just vote fairly, and very regularly. I would rather see the coin come up short, than take victory
but have a mark against its name in future.

My rule? No marketing budget, no marketing. But if you need article marketing for your idea, I could probably help you with that. I know a couple of sites that I've used to get the word out quickly about something, but they cost $$$.

Well first, i do need some programmers, and a designer for the wallet look and such. If you know of anyone with
the skill necessary then we can discuss this definitely. I am just having a difficult time reaching out to
people with the expertise.

Looking for partners to help implement a new coin idea.

Or rather, just help translate my idea(s) into a reality.

While I may not be programmer savvy, I do have a great many ideas,
one of which, if it can be done securely, could be used by all coins in future.

It will be Proof of work and Proof of stake, with a few twists which I am hoping a talented
programmer can implement. Of course this can all be changed as I am hoping to make
equal partners, not running or controlling anything. This will only really work if all
people involved are cohesive and on the same train of thought.

I have a feeling many coins can and will implement my idea in the future if it is possible in
the first place.

Post here if interested, we can continue discussions in PM. I am hoping this could be a new
way to secure the network, with a third hindrance on a 51% attack.

I am looking for a designer, a marketer, and of course a very good programmer.

I already have a name, which in turn could end up being a coined (pardon the pun) phrase
describing the idea implementation itself.

Regards. Mars.

Hi i am still fairly new to the whole buying and trading coins

What do you mean by "buy wall"? are we discussing, forcing up the price by ensuring purchases are made
no lower than a specific value?

Also meanings of buy wall #1 and #2. I am not entirely sure of the concept.

Hi, I like this coin, I have read about it, and began mining it, the first day it came out. I like the PoF idea, and the top address list is also pretty neat. A thought occurred to me today, after seeing what happened to the Asiacoin market. When you post the richlist or whatever you like to call it, would you please post the 1mil Developer address, so we can see it is not being used to create or increase any additional interest-acquiring addresses?  This alone would give the miners ( who can mine only a portion of 1mil ) peace of mind that we are not competing with the developer for interest payments. The coin is currently at risk of a 51% attack from the developer until 1mil+ coins exist in the hands of miners/users, does anyone else agree with this idea?

thats not how the 51% attack works. And he has stated he does not receive any interest payments. Search through the block chain
i'm sure every address is accounted for. And why would the developer attack his own creation? He would be killing his reputation and his
possible future legacy.

depend on which country u r in, most of exchanges would review your documents

I'm in the UK. And yes I know, I don't see why, it should be treated as any other kind of property transaction.
Like buying from amazon lol.

I would much rather buy from people anyway, exchanges take their cuts and percentages, it's not right for those
who worked hard to mine bitcoin, or were forward thinking enough to buy in early.

But I'm only really looking for savecoin atm, i have stopped mining for now, as I am earning more from interest
than i am from mining, so i can save myself some electricity by just buying up some savecoin.

does anyone know where i can just outright buy bitcoin without having to go through the entire
process of sending documents and my information to people?
I would like to invest in savecoin, buying them on allcrypt, but apparently
i can only do this with bitcoin, and getting a hold of some is very tedious.

Can i ask you what hardware you are using? i personally only have a small antminer usb
but since i have dedicated myself to speedcoin i would like to upgrade.
Do you have any suggestions? I am looking for around 1th/s worth of hardware.
but some of them only run on linux, or have complex setups.
I dont mind buying lower hashing asics in bulk but, i dont want to
bankrupt myself too early lol.
terraminer, cointerra.com

Thanks, but they are all sold out. I will wait for some new stock to come in

Having mined speedcoin since day 1, i have to say i am really pleased how it's coming along.
I am looking for better hardware.
My question to people here is, what is the best hardware, I mean value for money. and easiest to set up
most trustworthy etc etc
I will only be using it for speedcoin. I am happy to say i invested in a great coin.

My address,thanks suresh

It's a great little coin, although I do wonder if maybe the mining schedule is a bit too fast,
as in the entire mineable blocks will be over fairly quick.
Daily interest is a much better way of distributing coins either way
it allows those who dont have the time to dedicate to mining to also earn coins
without needing too much knowledge about the process.

So potential buyers will do well to invest sooner to reap the benefits.
Personally speaking, i did mine other coins for a while but i just grew tired
of earning so little, and i do want to invest in better hardware, but not if
the potential earninggs are trumped by overall costs. This coin has helped me
in that respect. I will be getting a better mining setup for future mining.

All in all a truly great coin, it offers more than other coins do, and in turn
should allow the coin to grow in value.

I'm considering changing interest payments to hourly payments instead of daily, some opinions would be great!

Thats not a great idea, it would mean micromanaging our wallets every hour, rather than a set time of day which is beneficial to those
who have long working hours and whatnot, it also means we can ensure the coins mined from the pools will be
in our wallets on time, incase they dont automatically give us the interest. Hourly seems good. but for pool miners
like myself its too much too quick.

FIRST INTEREST PAYMENTS MADE.

Testing interest payments today, I have just made an interest payment with addresses and balances recorded from block 118 to block 1769.

Great stuff, can i ask how you are making the interest payments? are you automating them? and if so how?
Just like to learn more about your coin.
