Blockchain fits to IoT very good and one of the reason is that blockchain system consists of a distributed digital ledger, shared between participants in the system. Members must validate any new transactions collectively through a consensus process before they are accepted.

Lattice decided to be built on the Constellation network instead of Ethereum because US Air Force partnered with Constellation in August of 2019 and it is big reason to do it
