Not a newbie but new in the altcoin space. I'm trying to find out some altcoin to invest a little amount. Suggest me some factors to consider before picking a coin. I am holding BTC and ETH as of now.

Many bounty coins that have no sale value and will even die. But to find information about the coins that you have. You must join a social media project or check through the project's website. The team must continue to work in developing the project. But if they are no longer active, of course, the coins you have are dead.

Many successful projects do not use ICO and I think you are right. But for now, the project without ICO is also very difficult to get investors. Investors are interested in investing because the ICO is able to raise large funds. So they think that the project can make a profit. But you must be careful in determining the project and before you join must do research.

Learning from that basis is very important and you should be brave to speculate. I when I first entered crypto and did not trade well. I had a disadvantage because the market condition was decreasing sharply. However, it did not make me give up and I made a lesson for me. Entering the year 2019, I was able to make a profit from the top coin purchases. I temporarily do not make long-term investments, but daily trades are more profitable.

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.

ICO to date is still an attraction for investors to be able to reduce profits. But not all of these ICO projects can be successful because many are utilized by people to commit fraud. So you have to be more careful about investing. Do check and research because fake projects will surely have a weakness.
The crypto market is still very difficult to predict. To buy a TNB coin I think not to dare. It is better to buy top coins like BNB, XRP, and BCH. Buying top coins will be easier to generate profits. Especially for Bitcoin because the price is very high pumping. So it is able to affect all the growth of all coins.
